Being an employee at Hi-Line and sitting in on many of the meetings during the development of this glove, it is so cool to watch this video. I am so glad you enjoy the product.
Awesome ! Thanks for the comments ! Its tough finding the time to make these videos sometimes but positive feedback like this is great encouragement to keep going ! Cheers Brother !
I bought these for my crew after seeing this video a few years ago. They work great, but we can't get them since Hi-Line got bought by Wesco. Any idea where I can order more??
I always use the mitts with the class 2 and the fingers with the 1kv's. Mostly out of habit. I find the mitts have more dexterity with the class 2's then having rubber around each finger. I git a pair from hi-line utility supplies that I've been using for a while and my company has since ordered from them as well
I am a Traffic signal technician, and we do storm for secondary services when there are a lot of power outages and I have to wear a class 0 and the leather protectors we have are bottom of the barrel so I’m trying to find better pair of leathers to work in
The one's I use are cut resistant also, really good quality. The 0's are discontinued tho ... I would give them a call and ask if they have any pairs around the shop. Look up on Google "hi-line utility supply". You can mention you saw me wearing them in a vid, they might still have an old pair Kickin around!
@@Bobsdecline well i have a pair of 0 Rubbers, i was just looking for a better pair of leathers. when u say they discontinued them, do you mean the 0 rubbers?
Those look nice but I remember how nice “whites” gloves were and with a heavier thicker liner they would be great. Salisbury’s are ok but not nearly as flexible and thin as whites were. My company bought me custom 10.5 short fingered glove, my fellow backstabbers made fun of them and then 10 of them ordered them too.
I am not sure how it works in all areas. I've always been supplied gloves and sleeves by the company I work for. I imagine that if you wanted an upgraded glove protector like these, you'd probably have to purchase them on your own.
I want to order sir but i dont have a money to pay my work is lineman in the pilipines and i trend for live worker and i yos that hightention gloves in 23000kv live line sir its okie to handle....
If you aren't trained in the use of rubber gloves, and familiar with the exact voltages, you should never be handling live wires. Leave that for the experts. That said, this product is to replace the standard issue, rubber glove protectors. These are not and won't ever be voltage rated. That's what the rubber gloves are for. These go over the top to provide protection to the rubber gloves from cuts and abrasion.

@@Bobsdecline Happy holidays from me and my friends at Toledo Edison
Cheers from me and my brothers from Toledo Edison we just got waterproof and electrical proof steal tow boots
Company bought me these gloves to try, half the price of the gloves they usually buy. So far I like them, probably better when they are broken in.
I’ve been wanting some of them also I have been wanting some of them more flexible robbers

Could you let me know what type of clamp meter and stick you're using at 1:01 ?
Thanks for info
Why and when do you wear the mittens over the 5 finger leather protectors? What do you like more? And where do you get the leather protector gloves?

Could I use these with my class O’s since it’s just the protector ? Highest voltage I deal with is 480v
They did sell a pair specifically designed for class 0... It had been discontinued but I believe they are making them again.
How to order glove electrical
Do power companies provide you with protective gloves and equipment. Or is that something you have to buy on your own.
