you don't have to worry about not being into them, even if you don't really like them, it's your channel, your musical taste, your reaction. You have been so respectful and careful with your comments that Atiny (the name of the fandom) appreciates it for sure. But please keep in mind that it's Kpop, Korean Pop, it's an industry, not a genre, but it's "poppish". Some groups lean towards other genres, but it's the exception, and most of the MVs will be pop/hip hop/trap. Bsides for ballads and other genres. Hugs from Spain and please forgive my poor English
Actually for Ateez their more heavier rock influenced songs are on their B-sides. You would probably like the chorus of their song Dune (you can look at a lyric video of it where someone translates it and points out who is singing it). I would also suggest their b-sides Wake Up (will need lyric vid), The Ring (on this one I suggest watching a live performance of it, the channel sanie has the footage from their concert dvds uploaded that should be good), and New World (again, live perf on sanie's channel) to name a few . They really like mixing rock influence with hip hop and synth wave and their songs tend to have a very cinematic feel to them. I would also suggest Xikers - Do or Die it is very much punk rock influenced (actually one of the Ateez members was on the production team for this, and all Xikers songs). Like someone said below Dreamcatcher is also a great suggestion, and another one is Poison by Pink Fantasy, they are a relatively unknown kpop group and dont have a lot of songs but they are also very rock influenced. Thanks for giving them a chance.
If you guys want a metal/rock influenced kpop 'Dreamcatcher' is the only one and the best choice yet. Songs: 'Vision, Scream, Boca, Maison, Odd Eye' and many more.
I sing along to Ateez & I don't speak a word of Korean 😆& their rockiest songs are The Black Cat Nero & Rocky (Boxer's Ver). Here are some rockier kpop songs for you - Good Boy Gone Bad by TXT, Ring Ma Bell by Billlie, I Pray by FT Island, Bobbin by Blitzers & Shoot Me by Day6. To be honest though, unless you check out actual bands there is always going to be an element of other genres in kpop songs & most kpop songs have English & Korean in them.
ATEEZ is kind of their own genre. I mentioned in a previous comment that they tend to bring several elements/styles/genres into a single song, and the result is something that is just... them. It's a sound that ATINY know and love, but it's not really "quantifiable" or able to be labeled as any specific style. Stray Kids does something similar, so does Ronnie Radke, and even Dimash (if you're not familiar with him, he's worth a look; not rock, but amazing talent). My go-to response for artists like that when I'm asked about style/sound/genre is to just use their name, because that's easier than trying to explain what might pop up during the course of checking them out. It's good to see David leaning into them. It's always fun to watch people begin to appreciate music that's already alive in my heart. I sing along to ATEEZ (and some others) as well, and I've only just barely started to learn Korean. In fact, I've started learning because I want to better understand the music I love and also be able to better communicate with my favorite artists (well, okay, and to better understand the shows I watch since it's mostly K-dramas). ----- A few rock-ier suggestions, let's see ~ ATEEZ -- Black Cat Nero (there's a great live version from Immortal Songs but it might get blocked, so I'd go with the performance MV instead) ATEEZ -- Outro : Blue Bird (it's a short thing, but it's so good and has a bit of a rock vibe) The Rose -- Back to Me The Rose -- Alive TXT -- LO$ER=LO♡ER TXT -- Good Boy Gone Bad DAY6 -- Shoot Me NCT U -- Without You Dreamcatcher in general Searching YT for "Korean rock" will actually bring up quite a few playlists people have put together, including some that are far heavier than what I'm comfortable listening to, so that might be worth a shot if you're interested in a general sense of exploring that kind of music in another language... but I certainly can't recommend any of it by name, since it's outside my listening zone.
Rocky has a lot more of the rock guitar in it. It’s one of their Japanese title tracks. I like it even though it’s not as popular as their Korean title tracks.
One thing you have to know about kpop is that they mix so many different generes of music in to each song, change the beat every time you turn around and in general is chaotic. If you are a person that just loves rock then you do you. I person absolutely love Ateez because of the chaos of their music and the fact they can make it sound so good. I am sad you didn't enjoy it more but glad you gave it a try. 🤩
The academy in which kids were showing is same academy blown in end of Bouncy MV For rock music I will recommend Rocky Boxer Version, Wake Up They have Guerilla Flag Version lyrics video Rock Element is heavely added into that
Stray Kids have a recent Japanese release that is rock. It's a collab with LiSA, who sings anime intros and more. SOCIAL PATH Xdinary Heroes, maybe HAPPY DEATH DAY or FREAKIN BAD The Rose ..... BACK TO ME or ALIVE.

I know I’m extremely late but they performed this song amongst a few other songs at Coachella this year with a live band, after that performance I just wished it was the official sound of the song cause it was so well performed, crowd was hyped and the break the wall chant even managed to reach the other stages which I was totally stunned by. Anyways, thanks for your reaction
A co-worker just mentioned that one to me last night! Thank you! Definitely on our list to check out. I hope you're subscribed and have the notification bell rang, because you'll be seeing that one on here in the near future!
@@Savage-Reactions The Rose are 4 member rock/indie band. One member born in US from korean parents. Their stuff is good. I discovered them 3 months ago. They were in Hyde Park concert in London. Amazing stage presence. Try " back to me" it's an anthem
I've never heard of Mercyful Fate, and I like only a few Ozzy songs. I couldn't listen to him for multiple songs in a row. Just not pleasing to my ears. It's ok if it is for others, it's just not for me. :) The Ateez songs are not ones I'd play in my car, but I enjoy checking them out. Their videos are entertaining. The cinematography, dancing, and clothes are cool, and the songs are catchy. :)
Can you guys please react to ONE OK ROCK, Take what you want live and We are (Ambitions). They are a Japanese band that sing in English and Japanese in their songs. Thank you
We have a Stray Kids song we reacted to last week, and more on the way! Keep an eye out! I hope you're subscribed and have the bell rang for notifications!

Your English is great! Thank you for the kind words and information!
The Guerrilla Flag version is their rock version of that actually 🥰

A few rock-ier suggestions, let's see ~
ATEEZ -- Black Cat Nero (there's a great live version from Immortal Songs but it might get blocked, so I'd go with the performance MV instead)
ATEEZ -- Outro : Blue Bird (it's a short thing, but it's so good and has a bit of a rock vibe)
The Rose -- Back to Me
The Rose -- Alive
TXT -- LO$ER=LO♡ER
TXT -- Good Boy Gone Bad
DAY6 -- Shoot Me
NCT U -- Without You
Dreamcatcher in general

ATEEZ are their Own Genre in whole Global Music Industry
They represent whole Global music
Kpop is just part of it
Rocky has a lot more of the rock guitar in it. It’s one of their Japanese title tracks. I like it even though it’s not as popular as their Korean title tracks.

I would definitely classify Ateez as more hiphop/punk rock as opposed to straight up rock, but we all appreciate you giving them a chance
Have you never listened to Mercyful Fate, Ozzy Osbourne, etc..., etc..., high as fuck voices!!! Glad you listened to our boys though :)
