Braze-weld a 1/4 brass tube inside the roof of your valve cover..drill pin hole on top of every lifter…Instal sandwich plate at the oil filter, and tap -3. feed your valve-train from there (teflon braid) this mod is done in many twin cam engines with aggressive cams. instead of the factory feed in the engine, that can clog with debris-from a new build)

@@jamesdeans2614 yeh mate has a 360 vg coupe , i had a chrysler by chysler 318 ute and 360 sedan and plenty of 265 245 4spd centuras they flew and were amazing on fuel.
The idea is to not wipe all the cam lube off and have it fire and go straight to 2000rpm and run the cam in. That's why I don't turn it over with no plugs for a couple Min first. Cheers

How about pre filling the oil filter too? That'd help a bit more again.
why didn't you turn it over with no spark plugs until oil pressure come up ,then put back plugs and start ?how we always do it?

how about just leave the sparks plugs out, and use the starter to turn engine without starting it to prime it?
