Mirror images and genderbending aren't the same thing. Besides, both Lenko and Rinta were made up by fans. Their official bio by Crypton mentions nothing about twins or even siblings, so they were most likely intended to be a matching set (or "reflections" as most people say) than twins, though they can certainly play the role of twins if that's in the story for that particular song or series. Fans are free to see them however they wish.
Oh the melody of this is just sooo catchy and so wonderful! Ive been listening to their music and watching their PVs since 6th grade and I’m 22! Great music lives on❤️❤️

You're half right.
In this song they ARE siblings, but they were separated in the beginning of their adolescence (teenage years), and through that loneliness found out they liked each other, as more than siblings, causing them to engage in a romantic/intimate relationship, which we see as incest/twincest. Hence a forbidden love.
But notice that Len stops and doesn't engage in more than that. As he decide to love her like a knight would "a knight protects the princess,"
And note they probably don't even know what kind of love it is. And all they want is to return to when they were kids and sleep together or rather sleep over with each other like most twins. But since len and rin are growing up it can't be like that forever.

Gah I love this version soo much better then the other one for Rin and Len (not that the other one is bad, I actually enjoy that one too) but this one...catches the lyrics better I guess. It pulled me in more. It's just so beautiful..

if you looked at the description the first few words are "The Kagamine *twins*" TWINS meaning this person either made or reuploaded this whilst viewing them as twins, meaning they are into sibling x sibling or support it.

Actually they're twins.
The way I saw it, Rin was afraid of the dark and asked Len to stay with her. Len took it the wrong way. And when they were all staring intently into each others' eyes, Rin said something like, "Haha, you're a scaredy-cat. Bet you stayed because you're more afraid of the dark than I am." And she fell asleep but then woke up when Len kissed her. "His breath smells like cheeseburgers..."
