    I love that you understand how to use the stances for sweeps and throws. Grappling in Kung Fu often gets overlooked and in my opinion, it's some of our best stuff. Glad to see fresh content, keep it up!

      I appreciate you. Thanks for the great comment. Grappling is a very important part of kung fu. It's a shame more stylists don't use it. Thanks for the support. 🤙🤙🤙

    We have snake fist elements in Wing Chun with our Ton Sao and Bil Sao. Your snake drill would be Lap Sao, Pak Sao, Jit Sao strike. I really see a lot of what I do in your video.

    This style automatically makes me think of eyepokes, which are illegal in like MMA and such but would very effective; as can be seen in the rough clips where fighters have gotten poked by accident.

      Damn near impossible to pull off in real world. About 70% of sensory inputs come through the eyes. We're genetically engineered to protect our eyes. "Short Power" strike from touch distance is possible. Fanning is another practical technique.

    The Gua is just raising an elbow, and from it you can transition smoothly into another gua (different arm) or a jab. So, it is a very good move. A move is good if it is 1) efficient in terms of body mechanics, and 2) can transition well into other moves. The gua>jab>close-in>elbow-to-head looks pretty devastating.

    • @AuthenticShaolin
      @AuthenticShaolin  Рік тому +2

      Certain styles have snake fist in their system of fighting and some forms, but not just a snake Style by itself. I would say most of the snake forms you see are more modern wushu then traditional, but their are traditional forms out in the community 🙏🙏🙏🤙
