I tried on a dress in a shop, came out of the dressing room to see what my mum thought, two older ladies walking past, stopped and looked at me and said “you look beautiful. You can’t leave without that dress”. I had never had such a lovely compliment, I bought that dress and each time I wear it I remember how they pictured me in it “beautiful”. Made my year ❤️
While I’m def in a different life stage (turning 49 Friday…which is nuts), it has been such a pleasure watching you both grow and experience life. I get so much contentment and joy out of watching your vlogs, and all your content in general! I’ve been watching Zoe’s channel since around 2012, and Alfie’s not long after that, so for around 12 years now, and without fail it is the first thing I put on to watch as soon as there’s a new video. I don’t think I’ve ever missed a video! I’ve gone through so many life stages with you guys, I am now a mum myself and my bub turns one in under a week! We have been waking up every morning (we live in Australia) and putting on your new video to watch as part of our morning routine. This time last year I was watching your vlogust while 8 months pregnant myself, and continued to watch them while in hospital after having my baby! I love watching the joy you both get out of parenting your beautiful girls. I love your life filled with such love and kindness and wonderful people around you - it’s something I strive for in my life as well. I love the connection you and Alfie both share after so many years together - I find it similar to mine and my fiancé’s connection, the inside jokes, the banter and laughter. I have watched your videos for YEARS! I had my first baby in November 23 and it’s so lovely now watching you raise your girls as I raise mine. Every time Novi is on the TV my little Sophia starts smiling and flapping her arms! It’s so cute!
I rarely laugh out loud to videos but you guys have not only put a smile on my face every upload but I have also literally laughed out loud multiple times now! Your laughter is contagious and is so refreshing to see ❤
One year, my New Year's resolution was to accept compliments gracefully. I had to train myself not to be self-deprecating in response to a compliment. One trick I used was to thank the person giving the compliment, and then immediately tell them a piece of information about whatever they had complimented. For example, if someone compliments your clothing or jewelry, tell them where you got it. If they compliment a behavioral trait, also tell them where you got it (inherited from whichever relative or developed through whichever experience). That same year, I made an effort to pipe up and give more compliments to strangers, instead of silently observing things I liked. It now feels much more natural to give and receive compliments. Vlogust is wonderful. Also, here’s a tip for soil bags: if you snip off one corner at the top, you can hold the bag up and pour the soil out into whatever pot or area. It’s easier and tidier than keeping it flat, slitting it open, and having to scoop soil.
i was thinking about how they could wake the girls up with their loud laughs in bed but then i thought you would rather them wake up to their mum and dad laughing with eachother than shouting at eachother🥺❤️absolutely loving the end clips of you two having intimate moments together and showing us how in love you are. i aspire to have this one day x

The pots looked really nice on the stairs too. You could do some herb pots on the stairs. Would look soo cute like a cottage garden. Plus ur stairs are long so it would fill in some space

i have been watching u guys for years now and obvi loooove your videos but i have to say the question of the day convos between you and alfie are my new favorite thing. i love how your humor shows more and you make "adult" jokes and we get kind of a new inside into your relationship bc i feel like you have been put in this "family blogger drawer" where everything is very pg 13 and you have kept your relationship always very privat (not that thats a bad thing) but over the past 13 days you have become so much more relatable to me

Without overthinking it (which would lead me to spend all night trying to come up with a compliment to match the admiration and appreciation I have for you and your work, which I've enjoyed for 8 years), here are my thoughts: I love how you manage to have silly and playful moments together, both as a couple and with family and friends-even when the girls aren't around. I find it incredibly inspiring to see young parents embracing their playful side without their children.
