I am so glad this is back. I found this cover nearly a year ago and loved it. At the time I was at the end of a racing game and the final event was a roughly 13 minute track, so I muted the game's music and listened to your Soulless cover while racing and it just worked. The tone of the song really fit the apocalyptical and destructive feel of the insane racetrack. There were some moments that lined up well to create some nice audiovisual synchronicity & I'm glad I captured it. Ended up posting it in the racing community's discord and quite a few people asked what the song was, but when I tried to direct them to it, the video was no longer there which made me feel lucky b/c I had captured it before it went away. But it's now back and I can finally share it with my friends in Redout 2.

Just wondering, what synth vst did you use for the lead at 2:35 ? I have been trying to make an original song for awhile and Soulless is the main inspiration. "Formant 2" and "Basic Subtracting 2" can only get you soo far, i just can't find any good synths that fit the soulless feel.
i respect what you did with abbadon, but i dont like what you did with xyphos and Synthetic verse A(getting rid of the rapid notes sounds doesnt sit right with me) overall, 7/10 soulless cover imo

That lead is also Formant 2, just with the ModX/Y toyed with a bunch and some of the osc shape values in Sytrus altered slightly
