I love how when she selfishly wants to go out in a blaze of glory, she can’t and barely has the strength to go back to her home. But when she decides to go back to her squad mates and make amends, she’s able to power through and find them.
it still hurt that she decided to leave again even after all that. she struggles more with friendship and acceptance than anything else, even corruption
Red hood at her lowest, still managed to get back up and set things right. What a great character, when this played it hit me in the absolute feels, well done

Really excited, i'm at Chapter 20 and have been building my squad strength enough to push 21-22 without pause then hit OZ when it is suitable to match the timeline.
That singular chapter was one the most beautifully executed pieces of storytelling in the entire game. Not only was the way they pieced everything together perfect, with Red Hood's first encounters and her relationships, what it means to be someone else's hope, the music elevated the scene to an entirely new level. I nearly teared up at how emotionally packed this felt. In terms of character and personal beliefs, Red Hood feels like a ray of light in the dark world of Nikke, and wow do they nail her in every aspect. Thank you again for this amazing track Cosmograph!
For me, the voice acting in that chapter bring everything to the peak. Every shrill, every weakness in the VA voice, every pause, they are so deliberate to deliver us the best immersion. Weave it together with the content and BGM, easily one of the best storytelling of the year for me
For a game with a major emphasis on fan service, the story and osts are second to none. The story makes you feel immersed and has an impact on you. The music makes you wanna vibe out, fight demons, feel like you’re on a journey, feel at ease, or ball your eyes out. Nikke will forever be one of my most favorite games, stay blessed my fellow commanders!
I mean, i literally tried it out for the "hehe anime butt". But now am like fully immersed, reading every damn side log and everything. I woill say that NIKKE is following pattern from GF and AK, just adding bit more spice on fan service as especially Arknights have very tamed designs to bring more powerfull mesage thru each character. Yet NIKKE did almost same, and even more so, when i read logs thru main missions, seems there is actual plot why they have skimpy outfits.

I liked how this recent chapter got the best bit of storytelling in the game so far, heartbreaking and touching, showing RH remembering the good memories she´s had with her fellow teammates and decide to have one last battle, all of that mixed with this godly soundtrack is a safe bet to make lots of people shed a tear. Excellent job AKA and Cosmograph!! ❤
I haven't gotten to the most recent parts of the story, but this scene...this might be the most powerful and heartbreaking scene in the game yet. Great composition Cosmo and great vocals AKA! ❤
The writers really nailed this one. I just love Red Hood. In spite of her faults, she still finds the strength to rise above adversity. More importantly though, she raises her squad mates even higher. When you win a battle, she says in Japanese, "Didn't I say? I'm strong, but my friends (nakama) are even stronger!" "Nakama" is basically the strongest form of friendship and camaraderie. To me that is the essence of Red Hood and why she is also thematically an incredible character and so important to the story. She symbolizes hope in its most raw but beautiful form, like the sun that has just begun to rise above the horizon. Perhaps it is a new dawn for humanity.

I've felt so many emotions throughout my time with Nikke that no other app has done before. I've smiled and laughed with happiness, felt strong determination fill my core, felt anger and rage burn through my body, and sorrow and emptiness when things get grim, but so far the only time I cried was during Nya Nya Paradise. But Red Hood's story has made me feel such sadness towards a character that I didn't think possible from an app, and I think that's amazing. I felt the lyrics of Our Hometown reach me to my soul, and Hold You Tight has filled me with so much pain, wishing she'd find a way to survive, even though I know it' won't happen. Thank you... With tears in my eyes, thank you for making such beautiful, powerful music!

This soundtrack was the second time in my nikke story that made me cry so bad. First Marian, now Red Hood. The regret and fight she had to mend her wrongs... I relate.

@alaintouloucanon5467 I was one of those people as I am a small indie freelance game dev and I hate fanservice as imo its a cheap and dirty trick to get people to play however playing this has changed my mind but still leaves a minor bad taste in my mouth. Overall 10/10 amazing fucking game with good ass songs that I now listen to daily while working
This song really captures Red Hoods struggle with her terminal illness. This whole event kinda hit me harder as just recently lost my mum to a sudden illness and it reminded of the feelings we had as it went on. The desperate hope for a cure from those around who didn't want to say goodbye while Red Hood was full of regret, sadness, not wanting to burden her loved ones, and a kind of resignation that it was coming to an end. Nobody really knows how to or wants to say goodbye. This whole event was really well done with great music and performances from the actors. When this track came on it was really tough holding back the tears. Honestly don't know how Cosmograph keeps coming up with all this amazing music so quickly.
I can relate... This theme hurts a lot, i lost my mom when i was 9... Even though 11 years have passed every time i remember how i couldn't say goodbye because i wanted to think she would get better, I didn't want to visit her to the hospital because i was a scared brat, i literally acted like snow white, but there was no Scarlet to make me realize how wrong i was...

I've recently started to listen to this song again. It's incredible. It is a slow burn song but the build up leading toward the climax provides an immensely cathartic experience. Once you start listening to this song, it's hard to interrupt yourself until it ends due to how immersive and captivating it is. Absolutely love it. Have made it my Lobby BGM in NIKKE. Yeah this song is hella emotional, i just lay on my bed crying for like 30 minutes when hearing it and after. And thats a compliment cuz im usually quite hollowed out when it comes to emotional driven scenes.
Red Hood truly is the strongest, both as a Nikke and in character, even when at her lowest and suffering immense pain she decided to come back to her friends to amend for her mistake and fight alongside them one last time, and properly say farewell to them. I think she became my favourite character after this event❤
Gonna be honest, when Red Hood was first being revealed, I really didn't care; just thinking she'd be another Pilgrim I'd never see drop from the banner. Now? I love everything about her from her design, character, and story. She's my #1 favorite Nikke in the game, and I'm happy to have her.
A lot of people see this game as a fan service kind of game, and I can't blame em cause i too saw this game like them. So why am i still playing this game, from the day it got released up until now? I don't know, all i can think about is that i feel lucky to know what this game has to offer
This makes me remember my grandpa. He’s been gone for a decade by now, but my mom still sometimes cries when she is reminded of him. It really hit hard, and tears always swell in my eyes each time I listen to it.
Its impressive the level on how this one event introduced and developed Red hood to a point you can feel the struggle, i love the clear TTGL inspiration nikke took on Red hood characterization, best way to put it as "She is Kamina in Yoko's body", with the rest of the Goddess being her own Guren-dan, and now in the present, Snow white assuming the leader role just as how Simon did, and its all done in a really great way, cant wait for next event focused on the Goddess squad, as we still are missing some parts from their stories, Liliweiss death, the legendary commander fate and the finding of unchain and Red hood demise and how she is related to rapi, at least 2-3 events worth more
I'm pretty sure the commander is just Anderson, or maybe a clone of the legendary commander. That is the reason why he's the guy who's leading the pilgrims, and not someone else.
@@raawesome3851could be a bloodline, common in military families. Our commander protagonist even share the same blood type as Andersen which is implied to be a rare one. We even reply as « Father ? » or « Brother ? » but he shoves it away as a joke.

The issue was my last relationship... we didn't see each other after a horrible breakup... last night, she knocked my door, drunk, looking to close our chapter... all after she told me not to look for her 8 months ago... We told each other everything... and thus, our chapter, as a scar, is closing and healing...

I can't even imagine the pain she suffered in this with the corruption taking over her entire body. Even at her lowest, she grit her teeth and made an epic comeback. She really does embody a Gurren Lagann character, at the jaws of defeat, her flames burned brighter.

More and more of my coworkers are unexpectedly getting into Nikke, not because I convinced them in anyway about the jiggle physics, but because they hear some of the beautiful and awesome Soundtracks, and this happened to be one of them, cosmo such a huge carry.

Its impressive the level on how this one event introduced and developed Red hood to a point you can feel the struggle, i love the clear TTGL inspiration nikke took on Red hood characterization, best way to put it as "She is Kamina in Yoko's body", with the rest of the Goddess being her own Guren-dan, and now in the present, Snow white assuming the leader role just as how Simon did, and its all done in a really great way, cant wait for next event focused on the Goddess squad, as we still are missing some parts from their stories, Liliweiss death, the legendary commander fate and the finding of unchain and Red hood demise and how she is related to rapi, at least 2-3 events worth more

I'm pretty sure the commander is just Anderson, or maybe a clone of the legendary commander. That is the reason why he's the guy who's leading the pilgrims, and not someone else.
@@raawesome3851could be a bloodline, common in military families. Our commander protagonist even share the same blood type as Andersen which is implied to be a rare one. We even reply as « Father ? » or « Brother ? » but he shoves it away as a joke.

The issue was my last relationship... we didn't see each other after a horrible breakup... last night, she knocked my door, drunk, looking to close our chapter... all after she told me not to look for her 8 months ago...
