CORRECTION: 08:55 The reason for 1602 on the sword is most likely because the VOC was founded in 1602, not likely because the sword was made in 1602.
Fun fact, that same year the VOC undertook the world's first recorded IPO (initial public offering).
I did not learn this until 10 minutes after I had already exported the video 😃 sorry guys..

I have learned that they're approximately worth as much as current USD 7900B. While Japan's 2019 GDP was only approximately USD 5000B. It equals 20 modern major companies combined. I'm always amazed by the company ruled us back hundred years ago. Indonesia was only one of their plants/biggest assets.

Sayangnya, orang jawa melakukan hal berbeda seperti orang batak.

Minangkabau: West Sumatra, East Sumatra (Riau), North Sumatra + Jambi + Bengkulu (Bencoolen) + Negeri Sembilan Malaysia + Singapore + Brunei
      Indonesia to India to Balkan
Batak Bulgaria = Batak Sumatra Indonesia
Simmental, Switzerland = Minangkabau/Batak, Sumatra Indonesia, Real Nusantara isn't muslim/christian/jew!
Judaism/Christianity/Islam are scam claiming everything to be theirs, they're newcomers here in Indonesia not even native.
Mandeville, Europe = Mandailing Sumatra Indonesia (my paternal family side) = Draconia, Dracula (Transylvania Romania)
Indo Europe, Indo Persia, Indo America, etc all came from Indonesia especially before world's largest Toba lake was formed from Toba eruption 74000 years ago larger than Yellowstone USA (real Indonesia not that too small on world map since Mercator 1569, real Indonesia is much larger they've been drawing) real Indonesia has 3 timezones GMT +7, +8, +9
      Sumatra means Mother of Sumeria/Sumer/Sun/Gold
Many ancient facts are unknown to present world education full of incompleteness especially since they've been modifying since "Dark Ages" of western world
Indonesia is the real Atlantis on the Equator line also richest natural resources under and on the surfaces
Egypt, Babylon and so on are very young as the air and climates there are dry unlike here the most humid in the entire world made artifacts decayed easily but luckily many bigger real oldest artifacts are discovered day by day starting with 25000 years old ancient pyramid of "Gunung Padang" on West Java, my life around the world all alone since childhood is nothing of coincidence also fluent in formal Arabic, Dutch, Sumatran, Javanese, etc
I am Aries Ascendant, Aquarius Sun and in 11th house, Aquarius Moon in my X MC, Sagittarius Uranus in 9th house, Sagittarius South Node, Scorpio Mars and Saturn both in 8th house, and many other placements in Scorpio and Capricorn in its 10th house

This is amazing indeed, of all your videos. I’ve spent years living in Europe (mainly Germany and Switzerland), I must say that Toba lake view much like (and no less than) Switzerland. Probably that is what Mama Zoe like about the place, cause it resembles her Heimat (German for Home/place of origin).

just for info, the Batak people are the original people of the island of Sumatra... the Batak tribe has a hard-hearted voice. Some facts about this Batak I learned... the first fact is that Batak children must be successful overseas, that's why many Batak people migrate and become successful people overseas, facts 2nd, education is the main thing in the Batak tribe..even though their parents are farmers, their children have to be lawyers, teachers, businessmen, judges or big people out there...the 3rd fact is that the Batak people are traders and are respected in Indonesia even though they are few in number.4th fact Batak people donate many of the best singers in Indonesia, for example Judika, Titi DJ, Sammy Simorangkirr and others.. (perhaps because of the high voice characteristics of Batak people) the fact that the 5 Batak people cannot be separated from tuak, pork and chess and customs ... (sorry my english is bad) the 6th fact is not all Christian Batak only 4 dominant Christian Batak tribes (Pakpak, Toba, Simalungun Bataktoba) while there are Islamic Batak tribes Mandailing and Angkola Batak in the Sipirok to Panyabungan area

Buat Mr Kristian Hansen. Trims yg sudah berbagi cerita positif tentang pariwisata Sumatra Utara khususnya Samosir island.

Hi Kristian, horas3x. Thank you for introducing Batak land, its people and culture in your channel. My home village is Ajibata a small town village near ferry Ihan Batak harbour 40 minutes by boat from Tuktuk. My village has beautiful ancient traditional Batak houses also like in Siallagan. If you come again hope you stop by just 5 minutes walk to see a glance of the village. God bless you.

Ajibata is also where the big market is every Saturday and the main port for the ferries to Samosir., great place , i have been there many times. Very hilly streets, so you should be fit if you want to walk around the place. But great, I have fond memories from many years ago.

Wow... amazing luar biasa! Saya sangat terharu anda meliput Huta Siallagan - itulah kampung asal usul nenek moyangku marga Siallagan. Terima kasih, Bro Kristian Hansen untuk liputannya atas Huta Siallagan, Pulau Samosir dan Danau Toba itu. Trims....and good luck! 😊
