I was expecting someone to comment something rude about how Terry shouldn’t be a hero to you bc of the words he’s used, but I do see the value in him, and every time I see people say something about how he was crazy, I think about how necessary people like him are, we need people with out-there ideas and different opposing opinions, bc without differences, we wouldn’t have conversation, no debates or friendly arguments, we would all be forced to think the same way and that makes it worse on people who want the truth, and disagree with what we’re told. Ask yourself why do people who disagree with the mainstream truth get scolded so harshly, since when did “conspiracy theories” and disbelief in news and mainstream information become illegal, if that’s the direction we’re going, we’re headed to a terrible future with the wool pulled even further over our heads and eyes. Isn’t it a tad weird how the smartest people are usually called crazy, and almost get “cancelled” for the outlandish things they say? Einstein would’ve been treated the same if nowadays he disagreed with how the world worked and came up with gravity, it would’ve been called a conspiracy theory and he would’ve been banned for going against the “mainstream truth,” and even when you have proof (using 9/11 as an example, there’s evidence that planes couldn’t do the damage that was done, but it’s still a conspiracy theory even with proof) my apologies for this long winded paragraph I just had to get this idea off my chest and Terry’s ideas and words, vs how mainstream people treat him and what he said really brings out this whole issue from within me bc I respect and love Terry too, and people write him off as crazy and racist just for being different and having his own opinion, which I don’t see a problem with, especially if it’s not hurting anyone

Me too. Wish people treated him better when he was alive. He's an inspiration and I love that he wanted kids to learn programming via Temple OS.
I imagine through the lens of terry davis that we were the crazy and idiotic ones. The way he interpreted life and lived it on his terms was something that most will never do.

I'm too uncomfortable to accept that it's been so long since he passed.. I don't know what's on the other side and the fact that he's been there for this long is mind numbing tbh.
yea everyone likes to imagine what the afterlife could be like, but it's crazy to think there are billion of people in it as we speak, some of them have been there for thousands of years

@@radiator331 time dilation. i cant imagine, that time in the afterlife is the same as we have on earth. people that have had near death experences say its very much like a DMT trip, when you smoke dmt the time dilation can be huge, 15mins earth time can be inconsevibly long in the DMT realm. i am just a retard speculating but thats all we can really do when thinking about the afterlife.
@@hippo4214 I suppose all these "afterlife experiences" were only caused by some residual brain activity, which keeps "working" somehow for some seconds after the last breath, even minutes, depends on the brain and the injury / illness. Fact is, to this day no one ever came from the "afterlife"
I believe in a sort of purgatory time dilation. In that, once all souls who will exist in this instance of creation have lived and died, judgement will take place and the afterlife (or next creation) will begin. I don't think those who have died have experienced the passing of even a single second thus far. Similar to how we don't feel the time pass in our sleep or during surgery. To them I am sure it will be as if a blink of the eye, and we will all begin our experience in the afterlife together. @@hippo4214

Thanks for watching and glad you like them. Terry was one of the greatest programmers ever and a big inspiration as a musician. He inspired me to start making electronic music and to make all the production by myself, one man army style.
