- Out with @defactomediagroup at the M.A.T.E.S. facility just outside of Grayling, Michigan. The funny part is, shortly after we get there, some military men go to get pictures of my car. HA HA HA..... Guess they don't know that I don't think care, because I have nothing to hide. We go around the back side of the facility and check out all the guys and equipment back there and end up having a great conversation with one of our military men. BIG THANK YOU TO ALL WHO SERVE!!!!

This is a maintenance facility.
All you're looking at are equipment being repaired or upgraded and the guys there are mechanics.
Yes it's still cool to look at.
This brought back memories for me too. National Guard Camp Atterbury IN. in the 80's, all day in the motor pool full of 5 ton cargo trucks M810-M811 (can't remember for sure). Temp's in the upper 80's, blazing sun, no shade anywhere, maintenanceing everything to death ☠️ because there was very little funding for getting out on the road and actually drive the equipment. But that eventually changed twords the later part of the decade. 😎 We also usually did the 2 week summer training in Grayling MI.

That tow truck had U.S. Government plates. Being that is a maintinace facility, I'm sure it was a government vehicle.

You should make a license plate cover that you wing nut over it when parked. Just cover 2/3 of the numbers. Also cover your vin. Or uber from a parking lot.
I really don't care if they get my info. I have nothing to hide. But it sure is fun to hide my info from them.
