No city belongs to anyone, a village perhaps, a town perhaps but not a cosmopolitan city. Lets move away from this narrative.

This guy wants to divide Lagos...abeg shift! Make una drill am well, is intentions are ill.
GRV has spoken well.
Lagos is a Yoruba land, and everybody should respect that. And that is the reason we will not support Gbadebo, he has no respect and has never boldly represented the Yorubas.
For me, Presidency should be LP & Governorship is APC. This LP candidate still have a lot to learn though he is saying the right things even about the housing BUT Sanwoolu deserves a second term, I think he has done well.
How was Sanwo Olu when he became Governor? What experience did he have? And how knowledgeable was he? If he has been the one under this interrogation called interview, I bet you he will be confused.
Rhodes-Vivour made a mistake going to TVC, especially before Tinubu's stooges, Sam Omatseye... Sam's attitude towards the Labour Party candidate was despicable as it was nauseating... He barely allowed the young man to flesh out his ideas and vision for the government he is vying for... The man was just busy showing his bias toward the APC that it was shameful...
He should have stick with Arise Biafran chanel.

Which kind of journalist keeps interrupting the interviewee? Very unprofessional
I doff my hat for you GRV for the way you handle these shameless unprofessional and biased journalists. Corrupt journalists are part and parcel of the corrupt system in Nigeria.
It's Yoruba that allow these people freedom. Remember what their own brothers did to them in Rivers and other South South after the civil war? they took their properties whereas Yorubas kept their property and their rents waiting fort htem when they returned.

Yes o. The multiple taxation, we can tell you more. It's as if lagos wants business killed on arrival.

This GRV is a typical ibo man, he is a member of Biafra, ok imagine, he couldn't give a direct simple to the question they asked him 'is Lagos a no man's land?'
The hopeless man would not allow him to speak and he is handling it well
Why is that man so aggressive? He should chill. Really wanted to hear more.
The journalists are not capable of getting down to the topic titled 'is Lagos a no man state or not? It's a very interesting question we Yoruba are eager to hear.
You are a Yoruba, your mom is an Igbo, same as your wife... You have more relationship with Igbo more than Yoruba... You used to be the second in command of anambra IPOB...
Your type should not be tye governor of Lagos in this crucial period.
I taught I was the only one who noticed the unprofessionalism by the journalist
Nope
That was the first thing I noticed too. It was an attack if you ask me.
That guy in suit is a broker for APC
I don’t watch tvc at all! Only here because I saw Gbadebo. I must say he made it worth my time
I really don't understand that moderator. He doesn't understand GRV to answer his questions.
God bless you for acknowledging that is wrong to say 'Lagos is no man's land'👍👍👍.
This man is taking it personal as if you can carry Lagos to the east. Nice one legit governor GRV
What’s Rhodes Vivour’s competency, & what executive managerial positions has he held before.
JANDOR too, lacks executive management experiences, to qualified him too to be Lagos State governor! They both jokers! as governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s performances across public sectors in Lagos State, especially, newly inaugurated rail services ( Blue line), that’s benefiting residents bog Lagos State. Later Red Line, Red Line, Yellow Line shall followed to lift Lagos State, to modern developmental stage & league of society.
But, it’s your political party, Labour Party members from south east region, migrated to Lagos & other Yoruba region who claimed Lagos’s no man’s land.
Lagos is A YORUBA LAND, SIMPLE, Yoruba people wake up. That's their aim to collect Lagos through this Chinedu. Better wake up. They should go to their state.
Good insight about the double taxation but extend it to the Igbo traders!
Shameless hostility of interviewers.
The young man has grace.
Anyone who says “Lagos is no mans land” may their land be cursed and be a no mans land.. smh..
HE REALY HANDLE THEIR ATTACKS WITH GRACE
The phrase “Lagos is No Man’s Land” was said in the 1970s. Then, Lagos was the capital of the country 😂
Why are so many Yoruba being still crying over it today? Nobody says Lagos is a no man’s land anymore. It’s only shameless APC/Tinubu apologist who always find a way to divide Lagosians along ethnic lines that bring it up every election season. Lagosians are intelligent people who can think well for themselves. Igbos are not the problem of Lagos. If anything, Igbos are contributing in the advancement of Lagos. Politicians will always try to cause divisions because it is politically expedient.
Rightly said 👍
Calabar was once the CAPITAL of Nigeria and that doesn't make it a no man's land.
Are Igbos Lagosian or Biafrans? Igbos are trying to legitimised their tribe as a joint owner of Lagos. Pls, all Yorubas should shine their eyes not to ever allow this to happened. Residential rights of say 5 years should be the requirement standard that non-indigines living outside their states of origin should meet b4 voting in any local election. Igbos for example have no allegiance to Lagos state and as such their focus should be in electing a SE governors that is ready to serve them. This would stop violent from taken place in Lagos. Yoruba people would not let this to happened.

What’s making you guys so insecure? Igbos have been living in Lagos since the 20s.
Is it because U fear that Igbos are buying up lands massively? Remember, Yorubas are the ones selling it. You quote high prices for your land, we pay, you squander the money then come back a few months afterwards to start being a nuisance in the area, forming Omo Nile.
I support Gbadebo-Rhodes Vivour.
A Lagosian to the core. Whose family tree in Lagos goes deep to the colonial times.
Sam Omatseye gets carried away sometimes. He should let the man talk. It is an interview, not a debate. 😡
Both journalists deserved to be roundly criticised for future behavioral amendment
Omatseye thinks he is smart he knows how to whistle blow
At some point, i had to check whether this was a debate between Gbadebo and the man in suit 😃 Such obvious holding brief for the government!
Omatseye is very unprofessional here. The interjections are needless. We know you are APC journalist. TVC is not the end of the road. You have a career remember. Some of these questions are irrelevant. But Viviour was able to exhibit maturity
In fact, it was totally shocking
I am ardent supporter of Tinubu/Sanwo Olu/Fashola group

My friend nobody should have a monopoly to the state as long as i'm a taxpayer with an origin from Ogun state and a Nigerian. Lagos is a cosmopolitan city built by cosmopolitans, the british, portugues etc. This narrative is simply primitive. Londoners understand this, so do New yorkers. We evolve in this world and Lagos has evolve from Eko village, to town to city state and cosmopoltan city as it is today. No city belongs to anyone, a village perhaps, a town perhaps but not a cosmopolitan city. Lets move away from this narrative.
@Calvin Williams Going by your name, I can tell where your comment came from. Perhaps, I need to let you know that Shomolu, Ikeja, Agege, Abule-Egba etc were towns you were calling cosmopolitan. These towns belong to certain indigenes. I will advise that those you were defending can as well go to their state and pay the tax there. We are okay with what we have.
My parents once paid taxes to ogun state. I was denied admission to Ogun Stae school of nursing because my father is not from Ogun state. Now we see igbo getting Lagos State bursary but we can not have NDDC bursary. You really think we are mumu, a bi. I am sure Ogun state where you came from can never tolerate 10 % lagosians are tolerating from igbo ppl.

GRV was not prepared for this interview. He must first establish facts from what is on the ground and then profer solutions. The true and honest Lagostians even among the Igbo man and women know what is attainable in Lagos for the small man and those benefitting know it too. When you seek you will find.
