  • In this full-length interview, gospel singer Marvin Sapp spoke about growing up in Grand Rapids, Michigan, which he said was very Republican. Marvin went on to speak about living with a single mother at a young age, and he admitted that while he was connected to the church, he was also getting into trouble. From there, Marvin detailed how he started being more rebellious, which led to him being exposed to various drugs, including Lean. Throughout this time, Marvin was still involved in church, including directing the choir, and he went on to speak about having a change of heart at 18. Speaking about his parents, Marvin explained that his mother was a strict disciplinarian who made him choose between singing gospel music and secular music. He chose the former.
Moving along, Marvin spoke about meeting Fred Hammond, and he explained that when Fred was with the gospel group Commissioned, they performed their first concert at Marvin’s home church. Fred then got in contact with Marvin through his pastor, and Marvin explained that Fred spoke to him about filling a spot in Commissioned. Speaking about the group, Marvin explained how Commissioned was viewed as a 90s R&B group, and he added that a lot of the popular R&B singers of that time based their sound on Commissioned. Marvin added that the six years that he was with the group were the best years of his life.
From there, Marvin spoke about “King of Glory” being the song that introduced him to the world. Marvin also spoke about his late wife, MaLinda, before sharing his thoughts on Lil Nas X, homosexuality in the church, and what he believes as a preacher. Lastly, he shares his thoughts on Kanye's gospel album about the awards that it garnered.

Leviticus 18:22 and Leviticus 20:13 is what God Almightys word says about homosexuality so it doesn't matter whether "ANYONE" agrees with what He says or not.💯 Only reason I commented with this specific reference to God's Word is because in this interview Marvin was asked about homosexuality as it relates to God's Word and he danced around the question instead of responding like he did to explain other things in God's Word. A few times in this interview when he was asked a question he responded by saying that "God's Word Says" and then refers to the Word. Kinda disappointed that he did that, guess I shouldn't be surprised.

As a person of faith and a minister the Bible teaches clearly that homosexuality is a sin. We need leaders in ministry to start proclaiming what the word says, theology that evolves Ps Marvin distorts what Christ stands for.

Yes he has one with R Kelly the song he wrote for him with him sing I think in background. And he have said he wrote a few of his sing. How we forget. God had this young man in his arms. And the storm he’s going through is for many reasons. Of one learn whose those are around him and their real reason for coming into his life. At end of the day we all have our cross to bare and carry. And this for all those that don’t think they how to answer to First Father for the blessings and love he given us and the way we play those bled out in our life. So that answer he given was not true. Title ( Marvin Sapp and R Kelly Listen ) Mr. Kelly the matter what the out may be. His father never left him through out his storm in life. His Father revealing a lot. But man being man see and hear and believe what they want are desire. Which do not matter. That’s why the Father say have faith in no man. And nothing rather it’s tangible or desires nothing before The father nor thy self , kids, know other God , materialistic items etc. before him. All will be a life struggle if we do not head to words and teaching of the first Father and greatful to the Son for following his Father Will of him. And that’s all I how to say. It’s amazing how people just fall off when you in trouble instead of given a words of strength and encouragement as I First Father will advise us to do. All else let him do the rest
Just an opinion. Surprise you didn’t ask his thought on this man . As we surely No their pass did come to pass by The First Father for a purpose and a reason. Matter fact going go listen to this much touching gospel song

He literally said in the beginning of the interview that he won't say anything that will affect his money and lifestyle. At least he is being honest. As you continue to read it down to verse 14 it says do not be deceived and it gives a list of the type of people that won't go to heaven; homosexuality are in that list. Sorry Bishop Sapp God is clear.

Kelly Stewart: try looking at 1 Colossians 6: 9 - 11. The New King James Version. The New Testament. We live according to the Law of grace which is the New Testament. The Old Testament is for our learning. These scriptures deal with adultery, fornication, homosexuality, and sodomy, the four sexual sins, and it covers some other sins. God declares that those who practice these sins, and all of the other sins besides them will not enter the Kingdom of Christ, and God! We as Christians must call out all sins! If people ask me if a certain thing there doing is wrong, I like to take them to the Bible so that they can see what God says so they can read it for themselves! I am going to hold myself up in sin! If I am doing something that God deems as sin: I am wrong! People do have a hard time telling the truth about what the Bible declares about homosexuality being a sin! I guess they are afraid of being cancelled! We are supposed to correct each other out of love according to God's Word! These are the last days and the things which the Bible speaks of are happening! The masses are going to awaken when they lift their eyes 👀 up in hell! It's so sad because God gave his only begotten Son so that none of us would have to go to hell!

It's seems like she had a mental problem and was not treated for. I'm sorry for her family loss. She sent him pages on Instagram and didn't respond. Her ex husband says the same
