This set comes with 5 bands of varying resistance, a storage bag, ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxS7ex6L4sMqpaTn4LnBPyBmRQsSingL8y a small pamphlet with some sample exercises, and an access code for an online workout video. I haven't viewed the online video, so I cannot speak to the quality of that piece of the set. However, everything else is perfect for what I was looking for. The bands are durable, and the resistance strength varies enough between bands that they're each useful for different exercises and provide a great challenge as you gradually increase the resistance level for certain exercises. The only band I don't use very often is the lowest resistance band, but even that is nice for exercises that target weaker/seldom used muscle groups.

I must watch your videos almost every night, over and over again; you cover everything from muscle development, injury avoidance and nutrition. I just started using your lying press today and can’t believe how much more weight I can handle along with the great eccentric move you mentioned. At age 52 I have moved from weights to resistance bands. I just find them easier on my joints as I age. Safe and effective and now I train outdoors in Nature with them. I am way happier. Thanks Jeff for the always excellent advice and tips.
Same me. 52 still in lockdown (Vietnam). Before I trained in the Gym but always ađded band training. Since March 2021 gyms are closed here. So I only train with bands now. Results are ok :-) and you learn to be creative !!!
I'm 28 but with multiple joint surgeries including the spine lol bands naturally prevent the instinct to jerk or swing weights and the resistance scales easier relative to range of motion. Bands are significantly better for stability and preventing injuries by taking away the ability to force your way through heavy weights. You can also wrap the band around your palm if you have bad wrists.

1:20 actually for any exercise where one band is too light and one is too heavy I take the too light one and add an even thinner band. So now I am using two bands and the intensity will be more than the "too light one" and less than the "too heavy one". Works awesome for any exercise to find the perfect resistance.

Tke drop lunge, resisted Bulgarian landmine plyos in ladder fashion. 1s pause at the bottom, 1 rep and plyo at the top, 2s, 2 plyo reps, 3s 3 plyo reps. etc
be careful with bands. its often called safer way to train but too much extension under pressure can cause serious harm. I often find bands a little bit risky in that regard.

Some really creative band exercises there! What I have found that helps tremendously, is to wear gloves as the bands can really do a number on the skin on your hands during the course of a workout.
Thank you Jeff for this video. I have started working out with bands for the past 6 to 8 months but haven't been able to completely feel the same effect as that from lifting weights. After watching this video I tried out few of shoulder exercises suggested by you and for the first time could feel the burn in my shoulders. Feels great. Hey, thanks man…. Just turned 69, and my dedicated exercise routine started a little over a year ago. Feeling great and competent . Been using bands periodically , but what you shared in this video truly opened my eyes to a more encompassing use of them…… taking this into the gym. I appreciate your efforts …. thanks for sharing
I would love to see a video about leg band exercises, focusing on what movements can be done to strengthen and assist in the heavy compounds, but also to improve overall health and mobility in the knees, ankles and hips.
@@ejmc333 This is what I use mostly, the colors may vary from manufacturer: 1/2" (red) = for stretching and mostly the lateral shoulder and pull aparts exercices 1'' (yellow or black)= for triceps, shoulder raises, biceps (iso) , face pulls 1 1/4'' (purple) = biceps, front flys, rows (iso), lunges 1 3/4'' (green) = lower-body like squats, deadlift I feel for a complete upper-body workout combined with bodyweight like push-ups, the first 3 set of bands will give you the most flexibility and make sure you get a door anchor, it will litterally double the variation of exercices you can do.

For a long time I’ve been frustrated because multiple sclerosis has gotten more pronounced as I close in on 50. I need to work out to keep basic functionality, especially legs and hips and core, but I also like to work out upper body too. With balance as bad as it is free weights are dangerous. Bands allow me to have a good workout without the chance of dropping a free weight. Love the videos because they are a god send.

As an older athlete that lifts frequently, I really appreciate the band workout videos. I'm dealing with bicep tendonitis and using bands has kept me going while this injury slowly heals.

use safety glasses in case you're doing face pulls. and also dont let your bands get exposed to sunlight. If you see a crack in the bands switch them up asap. I've been working with bands for 3 years and I've never been hurt
Hundreds of people LOSE THEIR EYES doing band exercises where they pull towards their face. NEVER EVER do facepulls with a band if you're not wearing eye protective gear!
Jeff, I competed in bodybuilding for 30 years. I’m also a chiropractor for the last 35 years. Your command of anatomy and knowledge of training is way beyond anybody I’ve ever seen. With all the bodybuilding, heavy training and chiropractic adjustments that I’ve given over the years my shoulders are pretty beating up. I had a very difficult time training them but after watching your videos, it made huge difference. Keep up the good work this shit is invaluable.

I have a door attachment and a few bands of varying strength. And very limited time to go to the gym - which is way overcrowded as it is - so this is awesome to see, and I’m going to incorporate as much as I can. Even 15 minutes a day will help.
I want to thank Jeff for demonstrating the shoulder exercise with the Praying Hands pushing up the heavy band. I have been trying it and shoulder problems that I have (including repaired torn rotator cuff) seem to be improving and allowing me to sleep on my side and not cause pain in my shoulders. I will continue to use that and others of these shoulder exercises for further improvement. Thank you
I like it when he demonstrates the movements, hes obviously a well trained specimen, but even he has a hard time with the movements!! So they must work :)
i started using bands at the beginning of the lock down and I don't think i'm going back. it's the most consistent i've ever been with a resistance training routine. got tired of injuries doing 5 x 5 workouts. I combine this with bike riding and my physique is looking great. plus i save money and time from having to go to the gym.

Not seen you use these before been watching what you’re doing. I tore 2 of my shoulder tendons which became inoperable and surgery could not fix, after physiotherapy things got better but thanks to investing in bands and your exercise routines I have 90% mobility back, it is painful at times but I am getting there, plus yoga and tai chi are helping, thank you. Avid fan of your lessons.

I've pretty much been using bands exclusively for 4 years. I've definitely seen upper body gains, especially shoulders, but I'm very interested in seeing what you do for lower body as many of the movements I do kill my arms (like squats) long before my legs die.

Bands begin at 06:40. I switched from weights to resistance bands at the age of 52. They're just gentler on my joints as I become older. It's safe and effective, and I'm currently training with them outside in nature. I'm much happier now. Thank you, Jeff, for your fantastic suggestions and recommendations.
Can you do legs next? That's the one I'm really lookin after cuz as far as my i know there actually aren't that many leg exercises i can make with only bands (which is pretty much the only gym equipment i own).

I have started working out with bands for the past 6 to 8 months but haven't been able to completely feel the same effect as that from lifting weights. After watching this video I tried out few of shoulder exercises suggested by you and for the first time could feel the burn in my shoulders.

Hey, thanks man…. Just turned 69, and my dedicated exercise routine started a little over a year ago. Feeling great and competent . Been using bands periodically , but what you shared in this video truly opened my eyes to a more encompassing use of them…… taking this into the gym. I appreciate your efforts …. thanks for sharing
I would love to see a video about leg band exercises, focusing on what movements can be done to strengthen and assist in the heavy compounds, but also to improve overall health and mobility in the knees, ankles and hips.
You can do the Spanish Squat. It really burns the quads.

@@ejmc333 This is what I use mostly, the colors may vary from manufacturer:
1/2" (red) = for stretching and mostly the lateral shoulder and pull aparts exercices
1'' (yellow or black)= for triceps, shoulder raises, biceps (iso) , face pulls
1 1/4'' (purple) = biceps, front flys, rows (iso), lunges
1 3/4'' (green) = lower-body like squats, deadlift
I feel for a complete upper-body workout combined with bodyweight like push-ups, the first 3 set of bands will give you the most flexibility and make sure you get a door anchor, it will litterally double the variation of exercices you can do.

For a long time I’ve been frustrated because multiple sclerosis has gotten more pronounced as I close in on 50. I need to work out to keep basic functionality, especially legs and hips and core, but I also like to work out upper body too. With balance as bad as it is free weights are dangerous. Bands allow me to have a good workout without the chance of dropping a free weight. Love the videos because they are a god send.
Love the content using bands. When I was trucking I couldn't take a weight set and a gym membership was out, so bands had to work for me.

I just found your UA-cam last night and man I'm blown away. I just dropped weights for resistsnce bands a year ago and got Undersun Fitness bands and videos. Last week I picked the weights back up and am doing a combo of both. Finding these workouts made it hard to go to bed and I was excited to wake up and start doing some of your workouts! Face pulls with bands is all fun & games until they take your eyes out
unless you overstretch them, they won't take your eyes out :DD
use safety glasses in case you're doing face pulls. and also dont let your bands get exposed to sunlight. If you see a crack in the bands switch them up asap. I've been working with bands for 3 years and I've never been hurt

Seriously though, I forgot to secure the band and it whacked me in the mouth as soon as I pulled back.
Hundreds of people LOSE THEIR EYES doing band exercises where they pull towards their face. NEVER EVER do facepulls with a band if you're not wearing eye protective gear!

I competed in bodybuilding for 30 years. I’m also a chiropractor for the last 35 years. Your command of anatomy and knowledge of training is way beyond anybody I’ve ever seen. With all the bodybuilding, heavy training and chiropractic adjustments that I’ve given over the years my shoulders are pretty beating up. I had a very difficult time training them but after watching your videos, it made huge difference. Keep up the good work this shit is invaluable.

I have a door attachment and a few bands of varying strength. And very limited time to go to the gym - which is way overcrowded as it is - so this is awesome to see, and I’m going to incorporate as much as I can. Even 15 minutes a day will help.
Bands are so underestimated.
In Calisthenics we regulary train with bands and its just crazy how much they actually do if used properly.
And great for feeling good on the joints too

I want to thank Jeff for demonstrating the shoulder exercise with the Praying Hands pushing up the heavy band. I have been trying it and shoulder problems that I have (including repaired torn rotator cuff) seem to be improving and allowing me to sleep on my side and not cause pain in my shoulders. I will continue to use that and others of these shoulder exercises for further improvement. Thank you

i started using bands at the beginning of the lock down and I don't think i'm going back. it's the most consistent i've ever been with a resistance training routine. got tired of injuries doing 5 x 5 workouts. I combine this with bike riding and my physique is looking great. plus i save money and time from having to go to the gym.

I tore 2 of my shoulder tendons which became inoperable and surgery could not fix, after physiotherapy things got better but thanks to investing in bands and your exercise routines I have 90% mobility back, it is painful at times but I am getting there, plus yoga and tai chi are helping, thank you. Avid fan of your lessons.

I've pretty much been using bands exclusively for 4 years. I've definitely seen upper body gains, especially shoulders, but I'm very interested in seeing what you do for lower body as many of the movements I do kill my arms (like squats) long before my legs die.

Bands begin at 06:40. I switched from weights to resistance bands at the age of 52. They're just gentler on my joints as I become older. It's safe and effective, and I'm currently training with them outside in nature. I'm much happier now. Thank you, Jeff, for your fantastic suggestions and recommendations.

Can you do legs next? That's the one I'm really lookin after cuz as far as my i know there actually aren't that many leg exercises i can make with only bands (which is pretty much the only gym equipment i own).
