- Iran has unveiled an upgraded version of its Bavar-373 (Belief-373) surface-to-air missile (SAM) system. As per reports, the upgraded system has a range of more than 300 kilometers. An Iranian expert has also claimed that the missile system can engage stealth aircraft like the F-35 at long distances. Watch this video for more details.

Global Hawk RQ4-C and RQ 170 said the same thing until they were destroyed. RQ 170 has a lower RCS (radar cross-section) than F-35 because of its flying wing design, but.... Also, Global Hawk technology was used in F-35, but it was also destroyed.

F-35 can only fly as fast as mach 1.6. Bavar-373 missiles have an average speed of mach 5. An F-35 wouldn't have to "hold still" to be shot down by one of those missiles.

How did they test the system for F-35 detection ? What is the speed of missile and F-35 jet ?
They never tested it against an f35.. speed isn't the solution here.. radar detection is! An F35 has the detectable size of a golf ball on radar, The Russian SU57 has the size of a soccer ball so... If this Iranian system works (and I highly doubt that) the Russian SU57 should be easier to find with this system then the F35. Let alone the F22 that has the size of a bumblebee 😳

China has developed an IRST radar for it's J20 Stealth aircraft to detect B2 Stealth bombers and F22 Stealth fighter jets from 150 and 110 Kilometres respectively. Stealth is a good selling point until it's exposed.

Iran can now engage F- 35, yes they can detect it but their missiles han not lock on it. The report says and who is the reporter. And what is more in a real war scenario the F-35 will not fly alone, it flies with an array of different types warplanes.
