Sir, you are doing gods work. This is some of the best information I’ve found on investing in Lego and this is something I think I could really get into.
As someone who’s just starting his UA-cam channel and starting Lego investing. I appreciate you and your channel so much! Look to you for guidance haha
I found set 41602 Which is a Ray brickheadz set in my local toy store for 9.99 and I bought it for investment purposes as its retired was this a good choice
As you might be able to tell, I’m binging your videos a bit. This is excellent as are all your videos. Now, the one I can’t seem to find is the one where you spoke about selling on eBay and profit margins. I’ll keep looking but if you could shoot me that link, I would be very grateful. Cheers.
Would you still recommend the thors new Asgard set as a good investment even though it is retired but still sells at retail price by like target? Thanks!
Those pieces should definitely help the value! But bc the helmets are now considered great investments I think they will be overly hoarded. And that piece specially I personally don’t think is as attractive to MOC builders compared to the imperial discs in the tie fighter helmet
It’s really tough to do… I used bricklink and brickset. But you kinda just have to do your own research. There isn’t a super easy way that I have found
I think if they make another Bro Thor, it would be an time heist armored up Bro Thor or different versions from Endgame. I think Bro Thor has potential to have multiple versions but never the same one as the last version if you follow what I mean.
There is one set that haunts me. It's the spiderman truck vs mysterio one with the lime green stand that mysterio has. I believe that single peice is why the set is like 50% more than it realistically should be. I overlooked it when it was on shelves and now I cant look at my standless mysterio the same haha.
Hey Connor! Appreciate this comment 😉 only been posting videos for about two years. But starting to post more frequently so hopefully that helps grow the channel!
Why do your videos always default to the distracting close captioning -- which I always have to turn off? Anyway, glad I don't care anything for the helmets or huge scale cars. To me, the helmets are too small and end up looking overly blocky. And I never liked those huge cars because for their size, they have lots of gaps and lack windows. I like the scale of the 007 and Ghostbusters car. They end up looking much more realistic, ironically.
Sorry Studebricker! I always have default closed captioning on for those that watch videos with low audio quality or no volume. I figured it would be more helpful than hurtful. But good to know that’s not always the case. What sets do you have in your collection?
@@JakesBricks I wouldn't say it's "hurtful", but I've just never come across a UA-camr that did that, do I was curious what the reasoning was. Anyway, outside of the occasional UCS set, I generally collect minifig scale Star Wars and classic space.
What’s makes u an expert on what will be valuable and what won’t 🤷🏻♂️U have as much of an idea as any of us to be honest. Iv many misb sets worth a lot of money ie emerald night, train shed 10027 Modular’s like town hall iv got them all but at the time who knew what they would be worth now. It’s all luck. The likes of Modular’s are always a good bet.
Far from an expert! Just a guy who has been buying/selling and investing in LEGO for 7 years. Hoping to share my experience so other collectors can fund their building hobby like I do! A ton of it is luck I would agree but there are some factors and indicators that help when buying sets instead of just walking into target and pulling a set off the shelf hoping it goes up in value

Wow Michael that is high praise thanks so much! Excited to help anyone start their LEGO investing journey
Thanks a ton man for the info! Getting back into Lego after 20+ years and this definitely helps out! 🙏🙏

Loving your channel mate, really informative and well presented 👍
Thanks a ton Hansel!

Fantastic explanation
Thanks! Hope it helped
Thank you so much for making this! God bless you!
Well thanks capt!
I've always collected Lego. Just started investigating this year some money in stocks some to Lego 😁. Have to diversify right lol. Great video!
Yes diversifying is key!
Love your content.
Never heard someone call the porsche a 'nine one one' before 😂
ha I always have... but I know most people say "nine eleven"
@@JakesBricks haha no judgement. Your content is great!
Extremely interesting content on this chapter and the previos one. Thank you so much for sharing all this useful information with us.
Sure thing!
Very informative content, thanks for your content.
Sure thing!
The Resistance Transport....AKA the "Hoover." Right, as in vacuum cleaners.
It does look like a vacuum 🤣
Keep it up! I'm really liking the videos :)
Well thx!
Great content 👍🏾
Thanks!
Would you still recommend the thors new Asgard set as a good investment even though it is retired but still sells at retail price by like target? Thanks!
TBH this set has bummed me out... I would have to say no at this point and will probably be a long hold to get a good return
@@JakesBricks ok thanks, good to know!
Jake iss one of the best resources on this. Great content.
Wow thanks Jay! High praise
The marvel bro thor set has been sold out in the UK for ages and sells out as soon as it comes back in stock ,i've wanted to buy a few for ages now
Seems like the demand is high for this set already
Very interesting video! Thank you!
💪💪
What do you think about the unique Pieces in 75327? Especially the two printed Rebel Discs
Those pieces should definitely help the value! But bc the helmets are now considered great investments I think they will be overly hoarded. And that piece specially I personally don’t think is as attractive to MOC builders compared to the imperial discs in the tie fighter helmet
Great video, when we could expect another one? :)
Coming hopefully in the next couple of weeks
Gr8 👍
💪💪
Great videos thx! What is the best way to research unique pieces in a set?
It’s really tough to do… I used bricklink and brickset. But you kinda just have to do your own research. There isn’t a super easy way that I have found
Lookup set on brick economy it tells what sets a fig is in
@@Crowncitysalvage do you know of any sites they tell you about unique prices not just figs
@@JakesBricks it has prices for each figure. Unless u meant unique pieces in that case I don't
Great video keep up the great work
Right on thx Tony
How much do you think the Tie Fighter helmet could go for used? I wish I kept the box closed :(
Used with instructions about $100 usd maybe $120 if verified complete and $130 if you have the box
Do you have the porsche in a box for sale? I'm interested to complete my supercar set.
Hey Jeffery! Shoot me an email: jake@jakesbricks.com
150-180 for the transport? A bit generous? Don’t see a listing over 120 on brickset or brick link.
True true! I use eBay for reference bc that is where I sell primarily! But you are correct that bricklink prices are much lower!
Grazie per i tuoi video
Prego
Nice content.☆☆☆
Love these type of vids*
Thx Luka!

I have so many sets that haunt me! And tbh I did not think that set would be a winner either
How is your channel not more popular?
Hey Connor! Appreciate this comment 😉 only been posting videos for about two years. But starting to post more frequently so hopefully that helps grow the channel!
Lego 76200 = unique minifig + Target/Lego exclusive = 🚀
To the mooooooon!
Unique comment is here 😉😂
Soooo unique ha!
How do you find sets with unique minifigures in it?
Brickset.com is a great database
How do you find out if a set has unique pieces?
It’s really hard actually. If you go to bricklink and search the set it will tell you which pieces are new to that set
@@JakesBricks So is the Luke red 5 helmet the same as the tie fighter pilot since it has the rebel badges?
@@takewalk correct! Those rebel badges are unique pieces
its Porsche "nine eleven"
🤦♂️🤦♂️ fail. My bad
And your "its" should be "it's" LOL
No its not it's 911
Def sideeye my whole subchoice on this one 😂
DOES RAPTOR HAVE UNIQUE PIECES?
Ford Raptor? I believe the only piece that is unique is the brick orange fender piece that has the words raptor on it. It's a printed piece
