I’m so grateful you’re still putting out Warframe content now that I’ve come back to the game after a 3 year break. I had no idea I had the sirocco after the new war, and I’ve been grinding solo trying to get an amp in order to do Zarimon content which takes me a while due to limited play time.

2:16 just a note that with Update 32 they changed Streamlined Form to have identical stats to Maglev with 4 less capacity requirement. It's also easier to obtain, being from Nightmare missions (rotation C so Uranus or further), versus Maglev being a rare drop from Corrupted Ancients (0.22%). Thanks for all your content, Brozime. I've been playing off and on for the past 3 years, and recently I grinded my ass off and now here I am having done Veil breaker and currently doing Angels of the Zariman. Your content always reinvigorates my love for this expansive game 😁
I'm MR29 and just started playing again after a 4 months break, and I've never liked the focus farm in the past so I'm far from having everything unlocked. This guide isn't only helpful to new players :D
Thanks so much. I literally just started looking more at this content island and had NO idea what to do or where to start or how to move forward. The other bounty areas were more intuitive, so thanks for helping streamline what it is I should and could be doing to start out.
5:58 Hey just a side note… Hunter Recovery actually does the opposite of what you said here. Easy mistake. However, WITH this mod equipped, you will also heal from each damage tick from all the spores the Panzer has spread. Good survival combo. Pack Leader is the mod that would allow you to heal your pet
Also, Synth Fiber here pairs very well with Equilibrium on the frame, allowing you to pick up health orbs even if you’re at full health. If ya get it, ya get it 🤫
The big problem is that a new player has to first get past Chains of Harrow and The Sacrifice, both of which feature sections where not having an at least partially kitted out Operator will be seriously un-fun.
I found Chains of Harrow to be simple with the mote amp, while Sacrifice was a slog. I lost track of how many times my operator died to Umbra. These days it would have killed my Warframe enough times to fail the mission I'm sure.
A friend only did Chains a couple weeks ago and streamed it for us, and since the operator/focus rework it is ridiculously easy compared to before, even with mote. Would assume Sacrifice is similarly inadvertently nerfed. Which, to be honest, is good: I did both with mote before and it was doable but painful, and 9 time out of 10 new players will be jumping in there before going eidolon/toroid grinding so it should be balanced for mote.
when the void angels do the attack where they summon a red ball above them to suck in your shots, you can shoot it with your operator to break it, you dont need to dash through it
If you get an eidolon lens, putting it on a firewalker nezha when running thru most missions is surprisingly supplemental to focus farms. Not necessarily a great intake, but when you're running something like a Uranus survival for plastids, it's very braindead and can net a good sum with the 45 second focus booster.
so this is a 8 month ago content but i can say this method still legit. since i am MR 19, compare to regular fast play exterminate mission (lv 110 ++ ) it will only give me 10.000 - 15.000 focus per mission per 5-7 minutes run. on public. compare to this method, the result are very good
I just use Harrow with Null Star and the Neurton star augment with range and strength and go into the Simaris Onslaught simulation with an affinity booster. I max out focus everyday.
i still dont get why we need to craft lenses that are locked once used. why cant we just have it be an equipable? or better yet, not have lenses but something like the synidcate changes(maybe have lenses, but use them to upgrade the school). also why dont operator kills count for the school?
The part about Swipe and Sharpened Claws is incorrect. Adding Swipe doesn't "make it remove more armor" - Sharpened Claws still only applies to one enemy hit per Swipe.
Here's how I did my focus farm: get Madurai lens (Zariman bounty got greater lens drop), put it on Gauss and Bramma and go nuts in ESO, max Madurai school then farm the rest with eidolon's shard, no focus cap bs
I'm not sure what's changed since this video was made, but the Xoris with this build does absolutely nothing against level 50 angels anymore. Edit: Turns out it's not the Xoris that's the star of the show here, it's the armour strip from the companion that absolutely carries. The Xoris is just a decent damage vehicle after the armour has been stripped
Thanks! As an MR 24 who's barely cared about the focus system, would this be the fastest method if i already have alot of decent gear/lenses? Its the one grind that i just have no patience for.
High gear exterminate is fastest as it's basically this but you can get it done in 2 minutes when you learn it. You'll get slightly less focus at 20-25k but the time save is immense
Quick note, this method will not help you unlock new focus schools, except that the bounties might get you a nice lens to kickstart it. You will still need to farm up the 50k to unlock a new focus school via a lens.
i'm surprised you didn't show void cascades instead since they spawn way more thraxx units and are infinite missions. i guess it's because cascade waves spawn far from each other and it's easier to do an angel on non infinite missions ?
Maybe also because mobile defence is a more intuitive mission type, so newer players are more likely to get quick runs? Idk how much focus it works out to though, so I'm not entirely sure
3000+ hour veteran here. I value my sanity and havent farmed focus. Should I too do this mission to get focus? I can do steel path void cascade. Would that not be faster?

Just whack some eidolons, it's not as hard as it used to be, and you get uncapped focus and some nice arcanes out of it. Take the bounty when night falls on Cetus and you'll easily find a group.
My method of Focus Farming involves using lenses, but it involves a max-duration Loki with a Savage Silence hybrid put on and a long-range whip, which I'm sure will work even better after the focus rework, and I go to Hydron, using the yellow things and stealth kills. It takes a couple runs, and isn't as good as when I originally used Banshee with a spin to win strat like before, but I'm able to hit the daily cap with it.
it's a good thing to get some focus on the side, as with many necessities in warframe, but for focus in particular, it makes more sense to farm it aggressively. meaning lua lens eso, combined with public eidolons. I'm currently maxing my last schools with sunder harrow.
Lens are useless once you unlock some stuff from madurai. Just do eidolons; I went from almost nothing in the focus school to only missing vazarin. All of that in a month more or less. With 3-4 nights per day

"Easily farm focus without lenses" - The only way to farm focus without lenses is Eidolon hunting, which is not on display in the video at all. So, clickbait.
Why do they always say new players and then instantly expect them to have completed the new war when by the time you have done it your no longer new because of the grind it takes to get there?
Because that's still new player territory. The point is the build doesn't require heavy investment and uses weapons and mods that a new player is likely to have access to. Playing a game for a week a two doesn't mean you're not a new player any more lol
