We need a WowGo 3 (flexi deck, orange soft wheels, Telemetric able HW ESC, LED display Remote) with the Onwboard W2 beltdrive, and that Samsung 40T 10S2P 60A able battery...
I think the ownboard is the better board of the 2 simply due to the belt drive. However now that wowgo is offering a battery with 40T cells it makes this a lot harder to choose. For some reason I love the way hubs ride on smooth surfaces. I have both and although the belt drives definitely rides better overall, the hubs are amazing. I can't wait until the budget companies start releasing "direct drives" and "gear drive" systems. They are the best....

Do you remember how long it took to receive your board? It’s been 29 days as of rn since I ordered my board and judging by the reddit threads I’ve read about this company, their shipping dates are super inaccurate. Their customer service does seem terrible, but it’s a Chinese company after all so we prolly shouldn’t be surprised
I gotta admit I was very curious as to which board you would keep if you could keep only one? You started the statement and then left before answering which to say the least was a little disappointing and frankly kind of annoying. Please share which one you would keep if only one? And I really hope you do a similar comparison with the W2 and the new Wowgo 3X especially considering they smartened up and dropped the price from the unreasonable $900 to a much more reasonable $750. I was almost 100% gonna get the W2 next but after I saw the price drop for the 3X I think that may have changed. I really think wowgo made a very smart decision dropping the price like that I think they will actually make more money in the end with all the extra sales they just set themselves up for. But thank you for your videos keep them coming bud.

One of my fellow riders let me stand on his wowgo the other day. That deck flex is like standing on LUXURY. I told him I felt like I was on a trampoline
I'd go with the W2 for the price and range and because I like wheel options. I'm already used to my boosted not having an lcd screen on the remote so the generic hobbywing esc isn't a big deal to me. Plus meepo is coming out with a boosted hoobywing clone remote anyhow lol
Received my Wowgo3 two days ago. Straight out of the box, the ESC was broken. Had to then contact the customer service and they will send me a replacement ESC. Now i have to wait for it again. Hmm.. Kinda sad cause the board now is just sitting at there. Cant wait to test it..
I been riding my wowgo 2s for 8 months straight and just had my first issue ever and it was a minor one I fixed myself for $5. You were very unlucky because they make excellent products
Nicholas Kj I have a Wowgo 2 (not 2s) and it’s been problem free from day 1 (about 18 months ago now). It’s actually a little faster than my Evolve Bamboo GT, though doesn’t have the range. Still enjoy it!
Try the bomb stop test when you get to Thailand hopefully you can find a hill. The test is get going 25 miles an hour down at 20 to 25 degree Hill. And stop at the bottom.with the added force a lot of boards can't even stop. like the blink S2. Great video I like your calculations.

Ownboard now has a better remote with a screen. So If you buy it now, you will get that remote. So that’s why I’m getting the ownboard. And because the price is lower for belt drive than wowgo belt drive.

The last Meepo I covered was the NLS and it didn’t get a positive review from me. Before I review another Meepo I’d like to be reasonably confident that it would get a positive review from me (by looking at its specs and other reliable reviews).
I wish the replaceable pu sleeves on these hub motors came with options for thicker PU (from 90mm to 110-115mm would be great!) - I'd sacrifice some torque for a more comfortable ride.

@@DanielKwan Well then I will be patient and wait for wowgo (didn't buy the ownboard in the end bc the battery case is ugly and deck not as good, but I love the adjustable W2 belt drive mecanisme deseign. Motors could be a bit bigger though... Could handle more torque). In thr meantime, i'm still riding my trusty WowGo2S.... I really wish this become a reality... Will remain loyal to WowGo!
Some help me!!! tell me if im doing something wrong but I am not able to charge the remote to my wowgo 3 i am plugging it in leaving it for a up to an hour and its not working. I am using the usb c that comes with the board and its not working, my controller is working when I use the board but I just can charge it someone tell me if im doing something wrong or how i can contact the company so they can replace the remote.

M Fjord They’re 90a duro. Below around 25-30 km/h I think they’re mostly fine for me. Above that I’d have to compress the rear bushings more than I’d like, so I’d prefer harder bushings in the back like maybe 95a with cupped washers. So it kind of depends on how you’re gonna ride most of the time.
Hi, I’m thinking of getting my first board around the $500 range, i think I want to get one of these two but I’m not really sure which one. I live in a hilly area and will probably be riding up a lot of hills, which one do you think would be better for me?
Don’t you just redo the pairing process to bring up the selection menu? With the remote and board both turned off, hold down the power button on both until they go into pairing mode. The remote should show a menu to select units, and then I think you use the control wheel to change option or something. And then click power button to select. That’s what I remember, unless they’ve changed it.
@@ian-wr1hk For me (~75 kg) most boards that use DKP trucks can go over 30 km. Every board in this video ua-cam.com/video/DcNPNpc9lwU/v-deo.html would go over 30 km for me with street wheels.

For anyone watching this in 2020, Ownboard has updated their remote to have a nice screen that is a square as big as the screen on the wowgo is wide.
Ownboard now has a better remote with a screen. So If you buy it now, you will get that remote. So that’s why I’m getting the ownboard. And because the price is lower for belt drive than wowgo belt drive.

They’d need to make some changes to this deck to accommodate wheels that size. Otherwise there’d be wheel bite while turning.

When did they collaborate?
How can you check if you have the newer deck or the older deck?
The easiest way might be to just try it side by side with a Boosted Stealth. From what others say, seems the W2 deck should have noticeably more flex.

Throttle would work, but I don't think the Ownboard W2 ESC supports telemetry. Just like the WowGo2S Hobbywing ESC doesnt support telemetry
