Herman Li recently did a video on Tina S and this song. His praise for her was as high as it gets. Tina S is pure genius, classically trained guitar master. Yet, she's disappeared in her native France, no videos for at least 3 years. Now age 22. Where ever she is, send her love and respect, always!

Yep. Herman Li himself said that after he saw it, they [Dragon Force] tried to contact her when their tour was in France, but to no avail. He did a reaction to it 7 years later because fans of both wanted to see it. But he always disclosed the fact that he saw it when it first came out. Impressed, but it’s still just another cover at that time in point. I could imagine the band watching it right before a performance. “Wow! She nailed that. Alright, you ready to give these ppl a show? Let’s go!!”
Also consider that as DragonForce has two guitarists trading off ; or at least that is what I've seen in the "official" video and a live performance, Tina is doing this herself solo.
Yes this young lady could very well be one of the best in the world hands down, you just cannot play any better than that - shes on some kind of gold level playing. Amazing.
She's amazing. I would be happy and completely satisfied with 1/10 of her talent.

I've seen it as well but tell you what this cover right here is absolutely incredible. The first time I saw her I was thinking no way ANYBODY can do what she does any better. And after watching this I stand by that. she's as good as it gets.

She disappeared for 7 years, grew up a little and came back with a band called Spin Twice. It’s a totally different side of her. When you watch her with the band, she plays some great lead riffs but you just wait for her to bust out but she hasn’t yet. Can’t wait to see what she does next. Check out Tina S on UA-cam
She released about 50 covers from the age of 7 to 18 though. I still remember that Alizee channel vid summarising her achievements over these year (Title something like "Tina 18 ans.") - that's already an awesome portfolio, even if she does mellow out into more commercial music now.

Tina did a concert with Joe Satriani and they were playing the same song together when he stopped playing to watch her and he was in awe of this young ladies talent and when she did the cover of Stevie Vai's For The Love Of God he contacted her to let her know how awesome she was, this young lady does not miss a note ever. She is like the Eighth Wonder of the World. She has almost been in hiding for the past five years while she went to school and I really hopes she makes a return!

Herman Li actually did a UA-cam live review of Tina S playing this song and exact words were " oh shit wow wow this is the best cover of his song he's ever seen and that if he got tired of playing this song Tina S would be his go to guitar player to play this" it was really cool to watch his reaction to her playing this song. Tina Setkic is one of the best tecnical guitarists ever, imo.
I would put her really close to the top. Only probably Shawn Lane, Guthrie Govan, and Paul Gilbert have more technical expertise. And, hell, we haven't seen anything from her in 5 years, so who knows where she is today.

You've probably not heard 1 3rd of the best guitarists out there. Another thing is all the professional guitarists out there, they just perform their own music (music they've written themselves by the way) i'm sure the majority could sit down and do the same as Tina here.
I also find it quite sexist to be honest, if she was a guy would there be this much attention? Unlikely! I know "the Dooo" does get a lot of attention but he's not only an amazing guitarist, he's also a personality too so.....

Hi Jen, I would say it's a safe bet Herman's heard of Tina, yes...lol. You however should react to her version of Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata, now that track is just insane... What's even more crazy though, she gave up playing the guitar for school.

Yes Herman Li has a reaction video on YT and he acknowledges that she is indeed a force to reckon with - he has even tried to contact her. She was between 15 and 16 when she did this. And yes she is now recognized in the guitar world as one of the most accomplished for her age ever. The news I have seen is she has put down the guitar in favor of going to university for higher education. I'm sure she will do exceptionally well in university because anyone who can play like that definitely has some serious brain power. I hope and pray that sometime she will return to guitar and turn the guitar world up side down with her amazing talent. By the way , she has been playing guitar since the age of 5 and she has worked extremely hard to get to the level she is ... so talent plus discipline yields results.

Nice reaction.Very good guitarist. Especially at that age. If you get a chance sometime, check out Midori at NAMM trade show in Anaheim, California in janurary 2020 on YT. Midori of Lovebites. She played for two hours in the Kemper amplification area. Watching her with her hair down in jeans and t shirt, whip her hair banging shredding LB songs was an incredible honor. She is so down to earth, humble, beautiful person. A true metal Goddess, yet takes selfies with fans. Can't wait until concerts are back to catch these bands.

I can give you two she does a cover of Steve Vai‘s for the love of God which is freaking phenomenal and she also does a classical song with the electric guitar. You’ve got to check out and then if you get a chance to check out Herman Lee’s reaction video. He is blown away and makes such comments as if he decides he doesn’t wanna play the song anymore. He knows who he can call to play it for him. He was absolutely stunned and how she shredded those solos back to back to back I believe there’s three solos back to back to back I think of this song which I happen to like I’ve just recently heard it and I heard Tina shred it and this girl is was 15 I believe and she made the video she disappeared for a while. She is just updated her UA-cam page. She’s apparently got a band. I think it’s called spine if I saw correctly so she’s back never left music. I think she’s got a band is what I saw but yes, your reaction facial expressions and everybody else that react to this cover their blown way me too.

Just an amazing talent. She is just one of those incredibly rare people in the world, that knows what they want to do and has the talent and resolve to focus and practice to reach this level.
Another incredible young musician that does Dragon Force TTFAF is Junna. One of the best drummers in the world, already, her solo cover of this song is similarly mind blowing. yeah when Herman and Dragonforce was in Framce they tried to contact Tina but they couldnt get hold of her. They wanted to invite her to their performance.
I loved the way that expression of awe and delight just blossomed across your face all of a sudden when you realized the true level of talent and skill being displayed by Tina here! I honestly wish Tina had been able to use Patreon back when she performed these masterpieces on her UA-cam channel. They're so astounding and satisfying that she should be able to retire already!!!
You should check out a couple Epica songs and since you love Nightwish and Floor Jansen start with Epica Sancta Terra Featuring Floor Jansen from there I'd suggest "Consign To Oblivion" and "The Essence of Silence" "The Kingdom of Heaven" or "Design Your Universe" Like Nightwish they are a Symphonic Metal Band they have a metal band and use Backing Full Orchestra and Backing Choir. Their lead singer Simone Simons is an angel like Floor she also is very skilled. Together on stage they were Magical they also appeared together on "Stabat Mater Dolorosa"
