*built like a tank premium built quality
*best in class speakers and trackpad and microphone ,
* ssd is fastst in the segment
*battery life is a gem
no heating issue and fan noise and Mac OS is easy way to foe editing and productivity works .....

I'm a 7 core m1 user , final cut works fine as 8 core m1 , render cheyumbol Mataram maybe you can see few seconds delay , you won't regret buying MacBook Air 2020 even in 2022 because no other windows machine is capable of doing this much at this price point

@@ErenYeager-hf7iz best in class, what is your purpose? for me , i kind of use it for programming and i would say its best when it comes to performance, portability (slim), the keyboard and retina visual would give you a satisfactory feeling. what is the current market price in india? i got it for around 70k in GCC. if it is around that price its worth. the only issue i faced is some flexibilty and compatibility issues with some application because of m1 chip where the same in windows works perfectly.

Been using the new 14" MacBook Pro... The build quality is next level but its a little slippy so I'm using a sandstone like case.. The performance of M1 Pro is beastlike... I'm using the base variant.. As apple advertised, its best laptop display and speaker in the world.. SSD is fast asf (2x the m1).. Great battery life... I'm using it for 4k editing and Data science stuff.. The fan doesn't even turn on... no heating issue even while training a AI model..
for data science which one will you prefer , the 16GB MB pro M1 , or 16gb MB air M2

1)Great laptop for the price,I bought for 85k.I got educational discount of 10k.
2)Great for programming,browsing and normal usage
3) Front camera is better than most of the windows laptop
4)Battery life is great
5)The speakers are also great better than most windows laptop
6)Have played Ashpalt 9 and it worked really well. You cannot play other high end games in it.
7)Trackpad is also perfect,you can use it without mouse
8)Universal search is really helpful
9)Wake up speed is really fast
10) Overall I loved it using it for the past 7 months,Battery Health is 97%now.

I have been using Mbp m1 pro for 1 year. it's a worst machine I have ever used. it's not fully compatible with adobe products. so there is a high chance to crash. I have sold the m1 and bought the mbp with intel processor. :( . if you are gonna run after effects then please don't buy it. it's efficient with fcpx and davinci resolve.
