This is what it feels like to be a Merc with an Assassination task in Rostok as well.
The difference is, there's no way to sneak past every fucker in that place if your target is an Officer. Lol.
I had an assassination mission on a bandit in the base, and I wore merc armor to sneak in and stab him in the middle of the night. It was more involved than some stealth games.
@Alejandro Llamas The problem is that every stalker wants to pick it up when I place it even with 10 secs timer
When they pick it up they instantly drop it and the bomb wont work anymore thats why I set it always on proximity and run as fast as possible away
I dont know if this is a bug or I just messed with my mods kinda even if the game works perfect
god damn true, but this part is always a fun part for me
@@Better_Clean_Than_Green i think this is a bug where npcs try picking up stuff you drop can be turned off with some modifications
That's why you get a disguise from some poor fool at Army Warehouses or Dead City, I like to stash a uniform somewhere near one of the entrances for any jobs that I might have to do inside, fighting your way out is relatively easy since you don't have to deal with the fucking fixed PKM's.

Remind me on that time i had to do my first rescue mission for loner. I take the quest from rookie village, and the hostage is all the way on a single shack at the edge of swamp. On the way there I had to deal with bandits and 3 bloodsuckers. Upon entering the swarm I had to fight an entire squad of military occupying an outpost, several bloodsuckers and god knows how many dogs and boars populating the swamp. After killing a squad of bandits, I finally get the hostage. I thought the return trip would be quick
I was wrong
I got jumped by a squad of military, who after finding out their buddies are dead and spotted us, they call for reinforcements, including an attack chopper. Then I have to fight another pack of bloodsuckers and a squad of bandits, all while protecting the hostage who more often than not tries to rambo his way into the enemy with no sense of self preservation. And just when I almost reached the rookie village, an emission alarm blares in the background, so I had to do a mad dash to reach the shelter
And the rewards for all that suffering? 90 rounds of AK ammo, 3 bread and 15K rubles

Glad to see I'm not the only one using booby traps. Next update will fix the crafted ones so they will work. I always mine the shit out of the barrier after clearing it.
When's the next update?? And also will they make crafting actually worth your time? XD

@@snaek2594 Play Stalker GAMMA. It's a modular modpack with 200+ mods for Anomaly. You can't buy weapons or armor from traders, you are forced to craft and disassemble. If you like doing that, or wanna get into it, this modpack is for you.
@@jestersnek3849 To be completely fair, you have to do that anyways early on when you're playing Survivalist. Weapons & armor are just too expensive until late game when you feel like a millionare warlord. That sounds somewhat tedious.
@@snaek2594 Sorry for the late reply - it does indeed sound tedious, I wasn't really all that interested, but it totally won me over. If you ever get the chance, do try it! It has lots in those 270-ish mods that just make the game very nice

How long does it take for disguises to take effect?
Also, do enemies remember you after death? I once wiped out the bandit base. Came back again but this time, I wanted to try disguising. Ofc, my disguise equipment is just as poor as it gets, but surely they don't just shoot you on sight as if there's no disguise at all.
I disguised like a minute before I made contact with them.

You can also try the new Desolation mod with the Dead Zone textures. Desolation is based on Expedition. Check EFP discord for the link. It is EFP ready but is a standalone if I recall right.
@@The_Longest_Handle_Of_All_Time can I ask what settings you use for the reshade? I mostly go for a vibrant contrast look. I can't seem to get your presets though.
I'm using the default reshade but I've turned off neo bloom and bloom. r2_sun_lumscale is at 3 amb is at 0.5 hemi at 1 then gamma 1 contrast 2 brightness 0.5, that's about it.

Don't forget the Duty mission of blowing up the APCs in the Military outpost in Cordon, and although pays decent with loot n monei, its a sacrifice of a decent amount of 7.62, or 7N1 just to wipe em em out.
Bonus points if you haven't scavenged much explosives aside from stashed grenades
That and any commoner mission that needs a weapon upgrade component, or the weapon itself
Tip: Put rewards rate to maximum from the settings.

Ok nice modpack but its very demanding? im on a 6900XT OC and can barely hold 60 fps on high settings? (ultra runs at like 10 fps LOL)

@@n1etr056 get anything with full caliber bullets and the monolith bois aren't spooky anymore. And in Red Forest if you go into the woods from the bridge outpost, and keep left, there is a tree on a small hill. You can prop yourself against it, get some snacc and wait with a scoped rifle. Pretty relaxing and it gives you good angles...
What mod do you use for the mags? (also, do you have to load them bullet by bullet? would absolutetly love that)
I use this www.moddb.com/mods/stalker-anomaly/addons/armr-arti-and-ravenascendants-mags-redux Yes you can load bullet by bullet and even one chamber one the gun kind of thing, also use mcm so you can adjust the value and activate that instant mag reload on stashes.

This one is not the worse since bandits doesn't have very good equipment.
There are some tasks from merc that wants you get literally get into duty base to kill someone, that one is oof...

I do upload if I have time but mostly shit posts. For my specs it's just a 1660ti laptop with i7 9th gen.
There's no way! I have a 1660 as well and I've never once been able to get performance this good or graphics this high without dropping down to 40 FPS or less. What are you doing?
All I did was tweak the game settings. Not everything is at high most of it is at low or medium

I'm on 1080p always, my anti aliasing for this game is off but my anisotropic filter is at 9

I'm using the reshade only, too. Modpacks has a lot more bugs and anomalies than the game itself.

You just use the expedition reshade? I'm running the full expedition mod with reshade and it's good but I also wanna add more and I cant with that set up. It says expedition comes with all the popular mods built in but I don't know what those are besides boomsticks and sharpsticks

Yeah, modpack doesn't show what addon in the game since it's been merged already. If you visit the expedition's moddb page you can see the list of mods that are in the modpack.

I’m trying to set up this experience too but google drive doesn’t let me install, figured it was the 24 hour time overload as mentioned but when I gave it a second try, I was told I didn’t have access to the file instead of it saying to wait 24 hours. Any ideas or is that just part of the 24 hour wait? Either way huge thanks for sharing this pack with us

@@edoardogalli7326 First off this is my mod list pastebin.com/hYWv77tQ , If you want to mod the game I would suggest boomsticks and sharpsticks first then accompanied by EFT reposition and then JSRS sound mod also get DLTX since plenty of mods that uses DLTX are conflict free with other mods and also MCM. To mod just use a mod manager either MO2 or JSGME, boomsticks has JSGME on it's files if you want to try that. And then just follow the installation of each mods, it's basically a load order which one goes first and so on and then just activate the mod on the manager, trial and error and some patience is required though.

Ok so Ive been running this exact rifle in gamma and some weird things are happening. When i put on a specific red dot (looks like a cheap bushnell red dot with a flat projection lens) the green laser comes on, but with any other signt, the one in the video included, it doesnt turn on... anyone got any tips on this?

Oh you're using ultra wide. Rough, even bas guns wouldn't display properly with it. Have you tried using 16:9 ratio though?

@@The_Longest_Handle_Of_All_Time does your moon look like a blue sun? I just switched to EFP from expedition mod pack because the nighttime during expedition even after hours of tweaking and stuff, the night time I had like moonlight coming out of the ground it was so bright
No, but I think it has something to do with efps reshade. Efp is quite blue if you've noticed. Also if it's reflection you could adjust the gloss factor settings
@@The_Longest_Handle_Of_All_Time I mean that I had the moonlight brightness problem when playing only the expedition modpack, I saw the author had some fixes at the bottom for similar problems on moddb page, put I couldn't get it to change. I was just curious because I love the way expedition looks, and plays it's just my atmosphere is completely destroyed when the moon comes up. Maybe if I try just the graphic overhaul it will bypass the problem, thanks for replying love the vids
Huh, never used the modpack so I can't be so sure about the problem. If it's a reshade problem just try deleting reshade cache.
