Hello. Too much time spent just looking at trees & nuts! I have many questions, that you didn't answer. How hard are the shells on your variety? Could you crack them open, by hand? Are you able to get two perfect 1/2s out of the shells easily? In the USA,,, we have Black Walnuts. They are extremely hard shelled. We Need a vise to crack them open & many times the meats are smashed & broke into many pieces. Soft shelled English Walnuts have very thin shells. If you squeeze two nuts together in your hand, the shells will easily break in two & the two halves of nut meats will easily fall out. THAT'S what I want to buy!?

@@SimbaEnterprises To be honest my tree grows on its own in my garden with our weather here in the UK they thrive. One thing I would say though is my walnut tree loves to push out long branches so I guess a prune every once in a while wouldn't hurt.
not from my experience, but they say its like this : year 1 - 0kg year 2 -0kg year 3 -0kg year 4 -3 kg year 5 -6 kg year 6 -10 kg year 7 -16 kg year 8 -22 kg year 9 -26 kg year 10 -30 kg+ dry walnuts but with shell.. i highly doubt it like that, but i may try, who knows

@@plaquedoctor2063 the space between trees should be 5 meters in a row and 7 meters between the rows. minimal... more space will produce better yields. so on hectar i think 300 walnuts would be fine. or even less if you want.. i dont have this type of walnuts and mine 6x6 spacing turned out to be bad. should even been 10x10 then i think i would have some decent yield.
On top of my head i think it goes 12x15 meters if you don't plan to prune down tree and keep it small If you want to prune but not that much its around 8x9, something like that. So its probably this.
