Lovely relaxing music in what was to be one of the final daytime Ceefax broadcasts on BBC 1 before the new daytime revamp took over the following month.
Yes very nice there too. The last BBC1 broadcast of Ceefax was on the 24th October 1986 before the all daytime tv started so too. This I guess was between Breakfast Time and Play School then of course as he says so too. Thank you of course so nice to see too?!
Interesting...the tape being played here is no 595 6 pieces from the Children's Album, starting at the second section, around 19 minutes in (The Berlin Radio Orch feat Greta Scarlich on piano playing 5 of Mendelssohn's Character Pieces), rather than from the start...
just a thought, could it have been started earlier in the day? I don't know if they had this tape available for AM broadcasts, but if they did, it could definitely have been played then. On a side note, if I did the math correctly, this tape would've been played in full from where it was, ending at 9:58/29. As to what tape followed, I can't say
