@@dodgecrickets7862 there is only one up you can go which is the i7 6700T. nothing speical and you are not going to notice anything
@@OpenMeUpTec ok ok .. are there any other CPU that can work in this .. these hold desktop cpu right? Would it be just a cooling issue if I put anything els in there
@@dodgecrickets7862 if thats the case why dont you sell this and get a proper desktop. that is probably the best solution. yes this uses a desktop cpu but since it is small the cooler can only do some much. therefore you need to use a CPU with a T at the end. this only works with intel 6th gen CPUs
can we add two disks? in example for RAID
when i last looked at the bios menu raid isnt an option therefore you cant do it. from something like this it is unlikely for them to provide that option
OPEN ME UP but physically 2 disks can be attached at the same time?
@@maso8061 yes and no. you can have a 2.5 inch hard drive and a m.2. that 2 hard drives but then it is not the same hard drive
Is the RAM DIMM or SODIMM?
so dimm
Hi how can I install wlan and make it work correctly
1.07 in the video there is a slot for you to buy a wireless card.
they noramlly come with the default intel one something like the 8260ac. if yours does not come with one it makes life hard. you can be the wirelss card but the antenna is harder to obtain. this does have the hole for the antenna but you will need to buy it seperately
below is what one of the viewer said which i have done something similar.
Bux a wifi 6 AX200 from Ali: aliexpress.com/item/33011783594.html - lots of kits come with dual antennas. My 9th gen i5-9500T 3070 has two holes. Otherwise go for an 1x1 NGW M.2 wifi kit. 10-20 dollars max
Is it possible to add any graphics card?
nope. besides a eGPU you cant put anything inside
@@OpenMeUpTec Yes you can... go to egpu.io for existing builds on optiplex micros... You can either use the SSD NVME slot for full 4xpici express 3.0 (32Gbps) or the wifi slot for 1xPCI express 3.0 (8Gbps)
@@lmhktCame here looking for info on graphics. If a dedicated graphics card can be added, what would i looks for on ebay? What about thermals? Cheers. (Considering buying a micro pc like this for retro games emulation)
@@tonyhawk123 I ended up building a mITX pc that suits my editing needs. Too much clutter if you want to MacGyver a VGA into a Dell Optiplex micro or Lenovo Tiny
Thanks
thanks for your support
Can you upgrade the ram on it
CPU can be changed, ram can be changed to 32GB max with 16GB in each slot there is 2 slots, wireless card can be changed, hard drive is a 2.5" inch which can be changed, there is a m.2 hard drive slot at 80mm long
In actuality this is a laptop disguised as a desktop. No room for upgrade expansion.
it is small for a reason but everything in it is upgradeable
But how to I connect it to my monitor. All that money and no way to connect it to my monitor
