Made it this far! I'm really happy you left all this stuff in the video, I love watching all this tech & maintenance that goes into your videos you are both a guitar player and a guitar tech I love it Rob keep it coming and now you just need to become a Luither now and then you hit the trifecta Lets go winning Rob Arnold!!!
@@RobArnoldWorld Thank you Rob for the fist bump!!! Grateful for your playing and music i grew up in middle & high schools jammng your bands!!! keep winning Rob!!!
Made it all the way through! I can't think of a better way to spend the morning, doing some warm up excersises on my e2 eclipse and watching Rob struggle with a battery cover 😂. I like how you left that in there, pure class, thats real life stuff that happens. Cool guitar, I really like the MT-1 thats out as well. Would love to see one of those in the wild.
I would say “made it this far” but it’s Rob Arnold and music related so I always watch every second! Enjoyed this one a lot, especially seeing that annoying issues happen to everyone, but you having the attitude of “I’ll figure it out” is how I aspire to handle situations like that instead of getting frustrated. It was cool to see how you figured it out, but I must say it’s a big disappointment from LTD. They’re a brand I’ve bought more than once and want to again…just hope they pay more attention to quality control. Overall a sick axe and great content as usual! 🎸🤘
Great video. Remember, its never nitpicking if ya don't like something about an item you pay over 1k for. We work hard for our money and if we chose to get something, we try and pick something that we love cause to us, that's a lot of money to throw at something. :). As long as ya love it and can afford it, that's all that matters in the end. With the Battery compartment cover like it was, I would send back and get replacement. Thats too much money for something like that. Minor scratches here and there, i am ok with , but not that.
If you block it then tune then loosen your spring to tune it be faster and easier. They sell the blocks that you block the Floyd with make it much easier and faster
Agree on the Korean vs Indonesian factory dilemma. I just bought a brand new EC-1000T in charcoal burst a few weeks ago. Absolutely gorgeous (you can see it on my channel). I ended up having to return it as there was part of the body that was missing paint. This was a Korean made model. It turns out that it’s now discontinued so I ordered a M-1000HT in its place and I also have an MH-1000 in black ocean on its way too. I don’t care where my next two are made. I just hope they come with better quality than my EC-1000T did.
I am a very happy ESP and LTD owner, have an KH-2 custom shop (got for like $800 in 2008) an E-II M-II and a M-1000 SE which is a very unique model. I got an MH-1000ET a while back in White and it does have a fair amount of bad paint flaws. I still have the same opinions as you but Ive seen there are a few that will have issues but overall they are exceptional IMO
Cool vid as always... Dude that stuff happens to me literally every time I get a guitar through the interwebs..lol Also the swiss army battery tunes your guitar, powers a flashlight and all kinds of cool shit... Again.. cool vid man
I'm glad I'm not the only one regarding the battery door screw.. same exact thing happened to my brand new SH-7 when I got it. Nothing a little super glue couldn't fix, but was definitely frustrating trying not to damage a new guitar while trying to get it out. Awesome vid as always Rob!! 🤘

@ I think they first showed up on the Ibanez saber series guitars. Not super crazy about those particular guitars, but the bridge set up is cool. There’s newer versions of it. Def worth checking out. But I’m also digging the tones you’re making with the Jackson guitars lately. Keep it coming! 🤘
I have 2 guitars from korea, love the quality however back in 2011 my tone knob was not wired into my EMG pickup. I do not use the tone knob at all so was not a big deal, but still its frustrating knowing that corners were possibly cut during the set up process
Great Vid as usual Rob! love this video and congrats on new LTD love the gold hardware. Rob I would love to get LTD Arrow satin sunburst, but I never owned satin finishes, since you have experience of satins would you recommend satin finishes? do they last long? I would appreciate your response thank you! keep up the great work.

Okay bro have a good one Stay safe and keep shreddin....🤘

Made it to the end NP! Shit happens lol. When you took that back plate off I said to myself he doesn't need to take it off it's got the slots in there. I just built myself a Kelly Star from Jackson. I used to run a Marshall on one side and my Peavey on the other and I would run that in stereo and it was awesome. But the new band I'm in already had a rhythm guitarist. Anyways have a good one! ☮️🤘

This is the Jack Buttler guitar revisted! ❤😱
I just looked it up, and it doesn't look anything like it! 🤣
I never use power tools working on guitars..Too much torque
I'm always as careful as possible, and keep the torque at its lowest setting. But still, I agree that the safest bet is non-powered tools.
@@RobArnoldWorld For sure, better safe then sorry..I cracked a pickguard by hand on my Explorer even being careful.
Good call. I've stripped many pickup ring holes using power tools.
That's why there's torque limiters on handheld drills! Never had a problem.
The main thing for me is its too hard to tell if you're cross threading until its too late (as we all saw with the battery compartment insert).
