finding a new weapon feels good in any game wtf are you on a bout. except in poe 2 it doesn't because it's like a .01% dps increase and you probably can't even equip it anyway unless you spend 200000000 to respec
All of your takes on D4 and POE2 are spot on. I enjoy the hunt in POE, not like D4 where everything is handed to you and the difficulty can be turned down at any time.
Like i said in the other video, PoE is about increasing risk and rewards. Itens will not flow from the sky like D4 for everyone but it will not take fucking 20 years to find them, you'll need to do harder contents for a chance.
Coming from the Diablo “universe” of games where items just rain out of the sky, this game was a huge shock to the “everything all at once” brain rot. It seems this games itemization is meant for players to find and item and then start to upgrade and change it via the crafting system. It feels good to craft up a piece of gear that can carry you through a ton of content. Hell, I made it into Cruel using a lvl 8 helm and didn’t really feel the urgency to change it out. So any Diablo players that are new to POE like I was, take your time, try the crafting system, try the skills, check the vendors and not be afraid to make mistakes. The reward is in the journey boys! Now, exiles, ROLL OUT!
I think there are two major issues with the campaign playthrough right now and that is the map size and a lack of tutorials on crafting. If GGG could tweak both of those, the game would be in a much better state for the campaign. And there are many ways to improve the maps, not just make them smaller. But on-boarding should take a player through every single mechanic, when it is appropriate, and then people like me could understand what the point of these systems is, not just try and figure it out when crafting mats are scarce. I'm really enjoying my time with it, but those two issues need to be addressed. I even think there is enough gear to go around. Could go up a bit more, but it's already pretty good, if the devs can teach us how to actually interact with crafting. Jesus, even if the item(s) we craft during the tutorials are pre determined for your class so we know what to look for. Just SOMETHING to improve the experience. Not make it easier or give us more, but TEACH us how to do this
@snaker9er oh man, there's nothing quite like having your entire point completely missed and minimized. Sitting here saying it's confusing because it doesn't walk you through what the game actually wants, or the important part and you're like "you should just figure it out." Very good. Super smart.
Path of Exile 2 is a Grinding Gear Game and the peaple dont want the "GRINDING GEAR" part in the game. The idea about farm items is important in Diablo, Dark Souls, Darksiders and most RPG games ! The 1st Diablo is the king in loot system. This peaple dont know old school games idea. The things dont came easy, we must work to get the things that we want it. I must be honest, its satisfying after you get it, its worth it. I call it sense of progression ( how we became strong ). Maybe its a Dark Souls influence ! POE2 is not POE and its good for me.
People have been spoiled by instant gratification live service games which are skinner traps existing to get consistent money out of its players, especially younger players. Because the entire market has mostly given up on making challenging and rewarding games, for fancy cash shops with a game attached to it, players do not know of old school games at all. Give a modern player Crash Bandicoot and they probably would quit and say it's bad.
Companies themselves push out propaganda to convince uninformed folks that no one wants challenging games. There are marketing strategies to convince people of this, so that games can continue being big business. Just read international business journals, it's a common sentiment that here in America if businesses smell that the public/riff-raff are interfering with policy, and ruining the golden goose, to distract, isolate, and confuse.
Right now, a good gear upgrade feels meaningful. I hope they keep it that way. Im in Cruel Act 1, and all I want them to address is how ridiculous the Ascendency honor system is, esp for melee.
yup, they should make it that killing monsters and maybe also hitting a boss grants some honor. like 0.5% for normal, 2,5% magic, 10% rare and 1% for each 0,5% of bosses health
I agree with your thoughts on this, I just wish people wouldn't be so impatient. Seems like these days when people get confronted with a challenge in a game the first impulse is to complain to the devs to make it easier rather than trying to overcome the challenge themselves. It's just the instant gratification dopamine world we live in unfortunately. That said I am pretty sure that GGG is smart enough to make good changes without making it trivially easy.
This. The only reason PoE 1 isnt just D4 in terms of difficulty and complexity right now are the devs not listening to the constant barrage of this from a large portion of the community. These same players either wont play D4 or bounce off it very quickly but scream from the rooftops that they want everything in PoE to be more like D4. GGG is like a parent telling a child that they cant eat ice cream for every meal but that sector doesnt ever realize that.
PoE1 was never very enjoyable in terms of the social spaces it occupies. There is a lot of leg work required and dedication to solving problems to be good at Path of Exile. Just look at a certain social website right now, there are absolutely no posts in like the top 30 that remotely are positive. GGG has 83% on Steam, and concurrent Steam players still sits way above 300k, showing that folks are at least enjoying themselves enough to keep playing. Much like anything internet mob related, when folks don't immediately get their way, they continue to pick at the scab hoping social pressure will result in instant changes.
The D3 refugee situation still has lasting effects on the PoE1 playerbase. When they made the mass exodus like 6-8 years ago, PoE1 players welcomed them. It immediately turned into complaints. Complaints which I sort of understand, but for me I kept asking questions to solve the problems I had. I made friends(imagine making friends) who were better then me and I could get feedback on. Every year I've played PoE over the last 5 years I've had noticeable improvements. People don't want to invest that type of effort, but want all the reward.
You not wrong, I am like that too, I want things to be more rewarding instead of available. It's just a thing with popular games, it attracts all types of audience, so you can't make it right for everyone, which is why it's important to find devs that can stand their ground, instead of bending to every criticism they get.
Diablo 3/4 destroyed the mentality of arpg fans today. Things need to rain from the sky and nothing should be hard no more or hard enough to make you think. This game needs to be fully explored before all the crybabies destroyes it.
too bad they fired the godlike team that made d2 and their upcoming project. d3 was ass and was made by people who had no idea how to make an arpg... d4 is well... not even blizzard anymore
@@newax_productions2069 good to hear, sucks that they were done dirty. I was never a fan of blizzard d3 team and beyond. Not really a fan of any arpg til poe1 since d2 tbh
The game is clearly trying to do something different. It’s trying to stand out from the pack, including getting out of the shadow of its own predecessor. The truth is they have a vision but even they don’t know what that final vision will look like. What it shouldn’t look like is everything else already out there. I remember Johnathan saying something about not always listening to players. It’s true, if you listen to players all the time you’ll get a grey mush of a game that doesn’t know what it is and will be completely forgotten in a year. I hope they fix what needs fixing, but never lose sight of what they set out to create, which is a game that creates its own sub genre of ARPGs. In a year or two this new type of game will have its own name. Then any future games inspired by it, whether from GGG themselves or others, will be a part of that evolution. Don’t turn this game into just another clone, GGG.
There's a happy medium man. I made it to level 18 in poe 2 and saw a grand total of 2 yellows. 2. To add insult to injury they were both gloves so it may as well have been one. Rare... sure, keep em rare. But not that rare.
Every time you level up, check the vendors for upgrades. Then you can use currency items to upgrade them. Save all the exalts you find though as you can use those for trading up to top tier gear.
Hi bro, you should at least try getting to lvl 50 and you'll see that yellows are not that rare, I normally get multiple yellows each time i clear I map. I'm on act 2 Cruel, lvl 50
One thing I do think they probably need to make the yellows a little more common. Not necessarily make the game easier but have ways for you to level up faster. Especially if they have different seasons like Diablo.
@@earlthompson4414you can use the currency items to craft your own yellows. Just check blue items for the base stats you want and then craft away. That is the main function of the itemization in this game it seems.
For me the issue is not the game being hard, but being unfair. I am now on the endgame, doing maps and dying one shot from a boss or a random white mob just feels horrible. I love the pace of the game, but man nobody tells you how important chaos res is and you can't find any lmao. The game really reminds me the early days of D3, where it was unbalanced AF!
Dude we come from roughly the same time era…grew up on D1/D2. Could you imagine if these guys had to run back to get their corpse where all their gear and a shit load if gold is being guarded by a champion pack? Bunch of babies man.
if you want a season game to be for everyone an item should max take 180hours to find. 90days X 2 hours = 180hours and then you are even a healthy gamer! if a season is half a year double it to 360hours.
look at the merchants, use the search filter get a high tier mod on a good magic base > use regal orbs, getting even two high tiers will make a big difference. If you miss keep the item base for later when you can salvage recomb later.
@@reedm7619 None of these guarantee an upgrade, PoE 1 had a crafting bench, which didn't require you to get lucky and provided you with some basic resistance crafts which was enough to get you started. PoE 2 has ZERO constants. Everything is random and you never know when your next upgrade will come (if ever), many people wear gear from NORMAL ACT 2 into maps, because absolutely nothing better was dropping. I don't mind gear being difficult to obtain but there's gotta be a way to get it reliably, not by pure chance.
A few minor gear changes and crafting mechanics made the difference between a1 boss destroying me and me successfully defeating him. I think it's great for an alpha
Honestly I think PoE2 will struggle if they don’t change a few things quite a bit (which I’m sure they will). I loved my playthrough of Act 1, I loved most of Act 2, and by Act 3 I kinda just rolled past everything because all these mobs became just too annoying, damaging and bullet spongey. It’s for example extremely annoying if you clear a map but one of the last mobs 1-shots you, and the whole map is full again. That just makes you go: you know what, I’ll just roll past everything 🫠
Also, I still remember we all did like the Diablo 4 story the first time, and there was a feeling of “but I don’t want to do it again”. I’m hearing that same feedback now in PoE2.
i agree with you! I dont want the game to get too easy. Also, I believe that it needs to be this hard in the early game to help combat power creep later on in the game's life. I think this is going to be a difficult thing to balance being a live service game. Im all for it being super difficult and really enjoy the challenge. But...If it takes to long for me to reach endgame I wont be able to interact with the new content coming out. That being said im sure we will all find ways in the future to rush through the content just like we do with every game.
I love the difficulty of the game. I detest ascendency the first one. 15 tries so far and I know in the future I can lose coins. Seems kinda cheap but I know I can always over level and get more relics. Like you said it's a forever game.
Hitting hard means you care. My take is say what's on your mind & express youself like a real human being... Because unfortunately too many people are scared to do that these days. Keep it up Iceman. Your content is always great. The game needs to be hard, items need to be scarce. It actually feels so satisfying to find something that improves you. Screw the critics, and screw being spoon fed.
I just finished act 3 and haven’t found a single unique yet 😅 Still bought the unique stash tab because I know one day I will find them all! They call me: Ash Ketchum
Old d1/d2 enjoyer that also played poe1 for a league till high tier maps (was pretty good although quite hardcore to go all the way). The game is absolutely great, despite the differences from poe1, regarding the campaign at least. If you don't engage with the trade system, it will be tougher, its challenging and might need some extra farming and try all sorts of crafting/shops and get lucky. That's like on you, its your choice how to approach the dangers. If you don't like the farming aspect then yes, you can engage with the trade system and make the campaign much easier on yourself. For maps its an entirely different story, most of the real issues in the game, are in fact there and are showcased in Kripp review video. Plus the melee/honour system needs a rework especially for the highest ascendancies at least. Its still EA, they have all the time in the world to rebalance things, and maybe improve currency drops a bit as well. I'll say it again, gear is super important on finishing content in these games. You can't really skip it. It needs to happen.
My biggest miss in poe2 is actually realy just FUN Done the campain and have no drive to discover all the map tiers since i dont feel like having fun doing all that shit
I fought the first act's end boss and that was the first time after 6 attempts, getting the dance right and beating the wolf my hands shook for the first time I felt that in AGES. Keep the difficulty!
I’m in cruel act 2; monk soloing most content just at 52. Seems fine but I understood how to use currency from Poe. So far so good my build is coming along nicely. I have done 2 ascendancy’s so far.
Yes, you're missing something: GGG makes its money with seasons. This means people need to return to their game 3/4 times per year. If the campaign takes this long I strongly doubt seasonal play works. So.. GGG definitely has to solve that somehow, maybe reducing map size by a lot and allowing movement skills that can be spammed.
I personally like ARPG that focus on the A and the RPG aspect more than just playing a crafting slot machine simulator. If you want to craft all day then button mash one shot things, there HAS to be mobile games based all around that. if you like the gameplay maybe ask yourself why you don’t want to play the game to get gear vs just have it handed to you? This game isn’t super hard, and grinding for the loot makes the loot feel way better and allows you to interact more with the gameplay.
As someone who hit #1 on ladder in D2LoD and grinded for a decade before I found a perfect Mara's I am all for loot being hard to get and require grinding. I like having super rare crafting hits and being able to double corrupt my uniques to make insane items. I want crazy difficulty. I am gonna play PoE 2 for at least a decade I dont want to get all the good stuff and do everything in one day like I did with D3 (never played D4 because I swore to never give Blizzard another $ after what a garbage slop game D3 was)
Someone said it first and it's true. Diablo and it's grim monetization has ruined arpgs... had, ruined rpgs, until this. Now though with GGG setting the bar higher imo than diablo 2 left it at. Blizzard can't overcome that without making a new game or drastically changing d4. Maybe rifts could drag some players back, but even then I don't see it. 300 hrs on d4, it's shit. 100 hours on poe 2, it's absolutely amazing.
Great take on this. It is a game that requires planning and skill to beat maps and bosses, but soon as you get to t4+ maps if you don't have a defensive build there will be no challenge because you will just get constantly one shot a ruin your map due to gear and resistance checks
The game is filled with gear checks, and there are cases where it is mathematically impossible to progress no matter how good you are at 'rolling'. Players with thousands of hours in PoE 1 know that the devs are repeating mistakes made years ago in PoE 1 development. A big mistake is putting Ascendencies behind mechanics that in PoE1 you would build a specialized character around doing those mechanics (ultimatum/sanctum). Sanctum in particular would have you build a character around mobility and massive burst damage that could instantly clear any screen, two things that PoE 2 is supposedly designing against.
as a former d2 player ihave found everything in tha tgame and made every single runewords in both soft and hard core every season I would make I would say 5 different toon I als ohad a few cdkeys so I could run d2 on 3 differnt machines so I could level my toons also mostly was sp solo player but that took 1000s of hours magic finding and a fair amount of trading . I tried d3 really didnt care for it I loved D4 pre season butthen it startedto really suck I have played POE since it first started right after d2 started to die and d3 came out for mew POE I had issues I could do the main campains and side quests but it was oevrly complicated and its hard for a solo player like myself when you start getting intothe upper parts of the game . I tried several builds and well I wasnt rich enough to do themn properly . the great thing about POE was it is free. I didnt like that I had only one choice of gender when picking a toon . I hope that POE2 when it is releases after what I like to call the beta testing which is happening now that its easier for this old mans brain to figure out so tha tI dotn have to follow someones build. I loved d2 because i loved making hybrids like trapkicker or hammersmiters which can kill anything in game all you need was an enigma and a couple easily obtained made runewords I used to get so many things that I would give much f it away to new players in POE it is much stricter and if you screwup its expensive in D2 you screw up you had to start over which was fine because i could power level pretty fast by mid season later o they gave you one free spec ( I think they did its been a few years)
I gotta say I'm very surprised at some of these streamers. They complain about the difficulty and I didn't see that coming. I thought they would have loved a game like this.
I agree with this take Iceman. Things in this game should be hard and you should be rewarded for completing them. I think its ok the way it is, no changes required. For people that think this game is though. Trust me, you character gets much much stronger when you reach cruel mode and things get very interesting. Think of it that cruel mode like being inc Act 4 to 6 when it fully releases. Use the crafting system. This is the way to do it, keep the loots coming! I'm a Monk and I love it, Cheers.
An example, i'm stuck now becaue i don't want to to trade (more funny for me), but i played like 5 hours and i stilll not suceed to find a decent crosbow ... i'm lvl 72 on map lvl 1. currency needs to be up or more loot on the ground.
Ive already come to terms that i will play this game for a decade at least and knowing that is enough to satisfy me. I want to feel like i am constantly on the hunt for that awesome new piece of gear and boy, do i have that.
I think the item drop in POE 2 is great! Not a lot of trash on the ground. When a awesome item appears it feels really good. I’ve been running a spiritborne in D4 and before level 15 I have 3 legendaries, one of which will take me most of the first half of campaign. The goddamn welcome back boost mission keeps overtaking my campaign mission and being annoying as fuck. I like D4 but there’s constantly trash all over the ground. Having a blast with POE 2.
Dude, you don't get it. There are glaring issues with the difficulty once you get past the campaign. The movement speed of your character is too slow and instead of all the movement skills from poe 1 they give you dodge roll. There are so many issues. If you only see the positives of the game then you're just gloating. Get off GGG's nuts
GGG is not blizzard, trust. I doubt they tune overall difficulty much. There are things in the game that are stupid like the methods of ascending and how slow and punishing warrior melee combat is, pretty much unanimously having people use auto attack for clearing. I cant suspect there are many people that would say that was even remotely cool. Then you play a monk and you blast and are fast as hell.
This is how people act Everytime something challenging comes out. After they have played it for a few months it will be easier and they will stop complaining or quit. I am in act 1 of cruel difficulty at the final boss 40 hours in taking my time haven't really complained about anything but trials.
POE 1 started similar to how POE 2 is now. overtime it slowly devolved into massive loot explosions, determinstic crafting on virtually everything. Barely any RNG, very little in terms of rare items to chase. It's a completely degenerated game. GGG was hoping to reset the clock with POE 2, starting off with more sparse diablo2 style loot. Unfortunately the playerbase they've cultivated after a decade of sloppifying POE1 wont tolerate it. I hope GGG does the right thing and ignores these ppl.
Everyone bitching about this game is pissing me off and I hope GGG ignores the vast majority of the feedback and sticks to thier vision in particular when it comes to the difficulty, you want a one button barely look at the screen blast game, there's plenty of those. They already over compensated for the loot rarity....my only issue right now is not being able to destroy runes to replace them in gear. The ascendency trials haven't even been that bad
Unfortunately way too many PoE1 veterans want an iteration of PoE1 and not a truly different experience w requires your brain being turned on and being engaged the entire time. I play PoE1 and D4 along w PoE2 but IMO PoE2 is its own thing and people should enjoy it for what it is, its not PoE1 2.0 and devs have been clear about that since it was announced it would be a standalone game
Hopefully they don’t change the gear drops much more iv had no problem with finding items just want more orbs for the gamba I hope GGG keep there hand off that dial
Diablo 1 was hard if you didn't know what you were doing the butcher would cleave your ass up. People don't want to take the time to learn how to get better at the dawn game.
mate u chat so much breeze it should be a sorc skill in d2r. put 20 hard points into ice breeze, 20 points into its synergy and freeze baal on hes toilet whilst hes watching this video instantly dealing 2million cold damage
They need to let people get to about mid-act 2 before the game gets as hard as it is so that way people can get their build going a little better. iceman you and I have lots of xp on gaming but there are people who know nothing i can see how hard it would be for them but lol what do i know hehehehe
with all new games there will always be a period of balance and GGG always starts things over tuned so its going to get better as EA goes on its our feedback that GGG need even if it might sound scathing. ^_^ All feedback is good feedback just ask Hello Games.
Bro I got a legendary 2 handed Hammer Act 1 for warrior that guarantees crit hits on stunned enemies. It’s mine forever. Almost statted to wielding 2 two handed weapons in Act two. Once I get there it’s game over for PoE2 😈
Act 1 wolf boss almost didn’t make it to the second phase meanwhile my mercenary went through all four phases and a couple multiple times to down him. I’ve been on both ends of the RNG and the game is fun either way. Git Gud 😊
Great talk, enjoy it alot! Im still missing Tyraels and Mangsong, been playing D2 since launch. So i know what you speak of. Yet to play Poe2, may look into it next week. Peace my brother, never change beeing the one you are. Thank you.
I've been playing coop with my son, going through the campaign has been so boring at times. The maps are really our only issue, we like the gear so far, we gamble for gear and get upgrades at certain points and craft some decent items. The map system and traveling is what my son and even I with many decades of gaming experience we just dont like the character speed when we have to backtrack, or are clearing maps, its absolutely horrible imho. So many dead ends. We are having lot of fun though but I can tell my son is losing interest just based on traveling through the maps, areas in the game. No mobs, chests, nothing going on in these areas we at times feel like we have to explore.... Early access and I know it will get so much better and for me I love the coop gameplay with my son, I don't care about a ladder or trading or the economy, I hope they really have options for single player ssf and with local coop that seperates it from the main league servers and players. I'd love to see a more custom experience for single playing through the game with coop as an option. I agree GGG is well worth supporting and with time, this game will be polished so so good and the dodge roll and other mechanics will be improved. The game is good so far, like the difficulty of battle, but maps are nuts.
The excessive "hype" for Path of Exile 2 was exaggerated due to people's anger with Blizzard and wanting to see this game shine. The little I played of POE2 showed that it is a generic game, so to speak. The skill tree, despite being huge, most of the points are related to class attributes. I played and died many times and saw that the game is generic and the graphics part did not impress me at all. I think Grim Dawn still has much more beautiful graphics than POE2 and the POE2 graphics engine consumes all the CPU/GPU resources unnecessarily in the long run can cause system instability and corrupted files with so many freezes and crashes. I don't see this game being successful...
And yet, at this very moment, there’s almost a half million people playing on steam alone. Im pretty sure poe2 is gonna do just fine. Can’t wait to see the final version of the full game. But till that time comes, I’ll be happily content to play this EA beta version.
Its a work in progress, hell even the top dogs/devs on Diablo IV are playing poe2 GGG is also actively playing as well and I don't think there going to let the player base ruin there game and completely listen to all the whining....I think the seasoned veterans have more weight such as yourself are having a blast playing and offer constructive criticism after full realese the seasons start and will be free the fact GGG only makes money off of cosmetics only is a breath of fresh air!!!
In fairness, apparently endgame is pretty yuck atm, but that’s to be expected. I hope they adjust it soon, currently I’m not excited to do Act4-6 to get to something where I get mega cucked 😂
I honestly t think peopl3eare just so sued to being good at games right away with guides and bs. People forgot how it was to beat a game with no guide/internet. There are many games tht5 are easy let us have POE@ be the way it is.
I don't think its make it easier its certain aspects of the game are out of balance atm; Im confident that ggg will balance it but as it is I think some of the complaints are valid and necessary. The game has potential to be almost perfect but lets be real here ggg is great but feedback is important because some systems in the game are trash atm
I like the way Last Epoch does it. Players should be able to tailor their experience to some degree. I think if you play SSF you should see more loot for your class. The loot balance in standard seems fine.
who the hell told you poe players want to constant chellenge all the time, no loot and no crfating, look at ruthless playercount, that will answer your question
your not missing a thing iceman , i've tired of poe1 just face tanking everything , till the power creep just nver ends , and ven now i've posted in many commnts sections how you can find 50 of th sam op build guids on how to nuke, and trivulize the bosses in seconds but not won actually xplaining tthe mchaincs of th bosses .... hre neds to b difficulty , with out it the games stale , no snse of achievment , prime example , the first time i fought the end boss of act one the dreaded wolf , h kickd my asss 15 times in a row , yah i was raging lol , everyon dos on tha boss XD , bu when i twekd a few gems and got the timming of his attacks down holy shit did it feel good to beat him. cant hav that feeling if , were just given everything like you said.
Finding a new weapon upgrade is meaningful and feels good, to much of a good thing will ruin that.
well said
finding a new weapon feels good in any game wtf are you on a bout. except in poe 2 it doesn't because it's like a .01% dps increase and you probably can't even equip it anyway unless you spend 200000000 to respec
@ArticulateArena not having that experience at all, everytime i switch weapons it feels like a big difference
D2 doesnt have a sequel.. it's just a singular masterpiece
All of your takes on D4 and POE2 are spot on. I enjoy the hunt in POE, not like D4 where everything is handed to you and the difficulty can be turned down at any time.

Coming from the Diablo “universe” of games where items just rain out of the sky, this game was a huge shock to the “everything all at once” brain rot. It seems this games itemization is meant for players to find and item and then start to upgrade and change it via the crafting system.

Spot on
Right now, a good gear upgrade feels meaningful.
If you use the crafting system, its not that hard to get what you need. I agree they should keep it the way it is.
The passive skill tree should just have one node. The GOD NODE. Its effect: -10% max HP
I feel my chest hair grow just by watching this video
And you are a chick
GGG won’t let that happen
@reedm7619 a lot of the OG diablo 2 devs work for GGG lmfao David Brevik is directly involved with PoE2
@@newax_productions2069 good to hear, sucks that they were done dirty. I was never a fan of blizzard d3 team and beyond. Not really a fan of any arpg til poe1 since d2 tbh
@@reedm7619 yeah 3 was okay and 4 is a dumpster fire.
Well said
There's a happy medium man. I made it to level 18 in poe 2 and saw a grand total of 2 yellows. 2. To add insult to injury they were both gloves so it may as well have been one. Rare... sure, keep em rare. But not that rare.
Sound's good. Yellow should be rare.
The "guides" are pure trash.
All I need is some tangible way to upgrade my gear, wisdom scrolls disguised as orbs are NOT a fun way to craft my gear
look at the merchants, use the search filter get a high tier mod on a good magic base > use regal orbs, getting even two high tiers will make a big difference.
@Yomush there are two determistic ways, essence on base and rune socket. You are over exagurating and misleading what is a quick fix.
Sleep in ice, wake in snow, sleep my preeeeeties as you grow…repeat
I never thought Iceman would ditch PoE2 and D2 for D4 full toad
lewl still have my D2 channel
i agree with you!
Screw the critics, and screw being spoon fed.
thank u
I just finished act 3 and haven’t found a single unique yet 😅
Still bought the unique stash tab because I know one day I will find them all!
My biggest miss in poe2 is actually realy just FUN
Done the campain and have no drive to discover all the map tiers since i dont feel like having fun doing all that shit
I fought the first act's end boss and that was the first time after 6 attempts, getting the dance right and beating the wolf my hands shook for the first time I felt that in AGES. Keep the difficulty!
ah nice gg
I’m in cruel act 2; monk soloing most content just at 52. Seems fine but I understood how to use currency from Poe. So far so good my build is coming along nicely. I have done 2 ascendancy’s so far.
Yes, you're missing something: GGG makes its money with seasons. This means people need to return to their game 3/4 times per year. If the campaign takes this long I strongly doubt seasonal play works. So.. GGG definitely has to solve that somehow, maybe reducing map size by a lot and allowing movement skills that can be spammed.
Poe2 feels to me like an oldschool game, they used to be hard! Finding a good item meant something.
Po2 players “I ain’t got tiiiiime to bleed”
Dude your like my clone look wise age wise and gaming history wise, im actually blown away.
Great take on this. It is a game that requires planning and skill to beat maps and bosses, but soon as you get to t4+ maps if you don't have a defensive build there will be no challenge because you will just get constantly one shot a ruin your map due to gear and resistance checks
I was desperate to find a new hammer that can smash my way through act 2.. oh god and I found one. It felt so good!
This is the best arpg campaign of all time
as a former d2 player ihave found everything in tha tgame and made every single runewords in both soft and hard core every season I would make I would say 5 different toon I als ohad a few cdkeys so I could run d2 on 3 differnt machines so I could level my toons also mostly was sp solo player but that took 1000s of hours magic finding and a fair amount of trading . I loved d2 because i loved making hybrids like trapkicker or hammersmiters which can kill anything in game all you need was an enigma and a couple easily obtained made runewords I used to get so many things that I would give much f it away to new players in POE it is much stricter and if you screwup its expensive in D2 you screw up you had to start over which was fine because i could power level pretty fast by mid season later o they gave you one free spec ( I think they did its been a few years)
You should be a voice actor, I swear. Fucking love listening to you talk. It's entertaining as hell.
lol thX
Exactly! Well done described and actually imagined us. If audience push POE 2 to be easy, the game is done.
We speeches like this DAILY
Bible which means book to know what’s in it means you understand,,seems like a lot don’t know where they stand..??..
Ive already come to terms that i will play this game for a decade at least and knowing that is enough to satisfy me. I want to feel like i am constantly on the hunt for that awesome new piece of gear and boy, do i have that.
Iceman keeps Ascending video to video, keep the Ascension going and stay Vigilant and STRONG
Thank you, I will
I think the item drop in POE 2 is great! Having a blast with POE 2.
stop hurting path of exile 2's feelings!
The crying bot´s can be helpt, by being my merc
Everyone bitching about this game is pissing me off and I hope GGG ignores the vast majority of the feedback and sticks to thier vision in particular when it comes to the difficulty, you want a one button barely look at the screen blast game, there's plenty of those. They already over compensated for the loot rarity....my only issue right now is not being able to destroy runes to replace them in gear. The ascendency trials haven't even been that bad
According to the steam charts WAST majority are playing, and vocal minority are complaining in comments
There's so much loot at endgame, you have no idea.
GO HARDER ON IT!! MAKE A STAND!!
“Why you gottta be there when you’re here”
😂priceless my man 👍
heh
One thing.. GGG doesn't roll over easy, especially not like blizzard does
Unfortunately way too many PoE1 veterans want an iteration of PoE1 and not a truly different experience w requires your brain being turned on and being engaged the entire time. I play PoE1 and D4 along w PoE2 but IMO PoE2 is its own thing and people should enjoy it for what it is, its not PoE1 2.0 and devs have been clear about that since it was announced it would be a standalone game
They do not need to increase loot drop. Get good boys.. keep trying.
LAWL
❤️
They need to let people get to about mid-act 2 before the game gets as hard as it is so that way people can get their build going a little better. iceman you and I have lots of xp on gaming but there are people who know nothing i can see how hard it would be for them but lol what do i know hehehehe
yeah that's a good point, how far along are you in it Odin? What would you like to see changed?
with all new games there will always be a period of balance and GGG always starts things over tuned so its going to get better as EA goes on its our feedback that GGG need even if it might sound scathing. ^_^ All feedback is good feedback just ask Hello Games.
Please also add SSF mode and I’m 100% with u. Trading is what ruins the whole experience. Is like having others farming for ya. Hate it
Bro I got a legendary 2 handed Hammer Act 1 for warrior that guarantees crit hits on stunned enemies.
I don't see this game being successful...
lol it’s already a successful game, and it’s just in early access…
@vito Noone is forcing you to play it, go back to D4 and let us who enjoy it play POE2.
smoking dope lol
@@PaladinZeke are you mad bro?
And yet, at this very moment, there’s almost a half million people playing on steam alone. Im pretty sure poe2 is gonna do just fine. Can’t wait to see the final version of the full game. But till that time comes, I’ll be happily content to play this EA beta version.
YOU CANT HUNT TREASURE IF THERES NO TREASURE TO HUNT
Enjoy the grind. Im only lvl 35
ah nice
I know it's still in Beta but I already enjoy it more than Diablo IV. Will I continue to enjoy it? I hope so.
Magic find or whatever its called in poe does a lot spec into that if it;s not enough
Played diablo 2 for.25 years and only 2 sojs. You did not play for 25 years son.
You are ascending. This is part of the spiritual journey. Proceed on brave warrior..
thank u 🙏
Game pass is not WOKE... It's called money savings. Game's today are not worth 70$
I think a lot of people are just tired of everyone crying and complaining instead of adapting.
Poe2 is a great game than d4 because it’s free.
OnlyFans when???
This game is tedious and unrewarding. There’s nothing fun about that.
Is this No Rest For The Wicked like game any good?
I like the way Last Epoch does it. Players should be able to tailor their experience to some degree. I think if you play SSF you should see more loot for your class. The loot balance in standard seems fine.
who the hell told you poe players want to constant chellenge all the time, no loot and no crfating, look at ruthless playercount, that will answer your question
This man is awesome
your not missing a thing iceman , i've tired of poe1 just face tanking everything , till the power creep just nver ends , and ven now i've posted in many commnts sections how you can find 50 of th sam op build guids on how to nuke, and trivulize the bosses in seconds but not won actually xplaining tthe mchaincs of th bosses .... hre neds to b difficulty , with out it the games stale , no snse of achievment , prime example , the first time i fought the end boss of act one the dreaded wolf , h kickd my asss 15 times in a row , yah i was raging lol , everyon dos on tha boss XD , bu when i twekd a few gems and got the timming of his attacks down holy shit did it feel good to beat him. cant hav that feeling if , were just given everything like you said.
Haven't played yet but I agree
Dude you're not wrong in the last few videos...the game has been trash. The people who lick GGG's taint will never take criticism of their holy grail.
Will you play Titan Quest II ?
