    L/S of the "Aquitania" run aground with a tug next to it, the camera pans across it. M/S of the ship from the front surrounded by tugs. Various shots of the ship resolutely stuck. M/S as 11 tugs manage to pull it free after 26 hours.

    Fun fact: this very spot where Aquitania grounded is roughly the exact same spot where the Queen Elizabeth would accidentally run aground some years later. XD

    i dont know why but cunard ships have always been cluttered with funnels, unlike white star ships which is designed to be clean

      Thanks to her being requisitioned by the British Navy during World War II for service as a troopship.
