been watching one punch man recently, and theres a hero called golden balls, who quite litterally, and i kid you not, uses marbles and a slingshot. like what is this, Dennis the menace and gnasher?
Something I really love about his work is how big and alive he makes the universe feel by giving distinct personalities to small characters, like Falcos dad, or Wolfs dad, or those lemur brothers, or Bill, and now these two. Hell, even Fay flipping the bird to Wolf conveys a lot of character and history for her. I love when we take time from the plot to spend with these small characters. @@monk3110 as an animation student, I’ve got a little bit of expertise, and I can say it’s definitely a really fluid animation at the end. It's normally not recommended to have such a fluid juxtaposition to the stiff animation, but this scene really makes it shine well. Compare Riendo's emotional energy throughout this scene. From boring standard procedure, to no tolerance for marbles, to annoyance from Kajecis, to the flowerpot realization, and that one horse kindly asking to get the line moving, he`s simmering to a boiling point in emotion. It really makes the sudden contrast in expression much more impactful. I love this scene, rotoscoping be damned.
