Hey you! Thank you so much for checking out my UA-cam channel, as well as my TikTok live streams. 🥰 Your budget would work in Tokyo, or in Vietnam. Personally, I think Da Nang, Vietnam, is the most livable city in Vietnam, if not in all of South East Asia. However, with your budget, you could travel from place-to-place for a few months, at a time. Rotate from Chiang Mai, Thailand, to Da Nang, Vietnam, to possibly Tokyo. Though, the flight to Tokyo is a bit more expensive and can quickyl eat up your budget. I have access to a ton of affordable apartments in Tokyo. Da Nang you can easily find on your own in Facebook Groups (Da Nang Apartments), et cetera. Same for Chiang Mai!
