Wow Kurt! Those are some awesome specimens and slabbed material he sent you. Wow they were all just so beautiful, and wow, just amazing! I really can't pick a favorite piece out because they all are so awesome in their own right! The topaz crystals are just beautiful! And those are much bigger ones then I have found. The one is a Barite Desert Rose with partial replacement by agate. The last piece is Topaz, Bixbyite, possibly Pseudobrookite in matrix

Hi Kurt. I was looking at one of your short video postings where you showed several possible designs for a new logo idea. As a professional graphic designer I would like to make a few suggestions. The options you showed would be good for a masthead or when you need a larger work of art. A logo is traditionally small and self contained or within a shape, such as a circle, square, or oval. It should be able to be read quickly and easily identifyable in a small size, like for a business card or on a letterhead or sticker. It should look harmonious with many different applications. Once you have one you like, it's a good idea not to change it, because people get use to seeing it and identifying it.
If you look at famous logos like apple or nike, you'll notice 1 shape, and one word, not a big landscape picture. I agree that’s what a logo should be. My current one was only supposed to be temporary. I’m trying to upgrade some features of my channel to hopefully look better. I am not that great of a graphic designer at all so I was looking at other channels like AgateDad, Rookie, Ozone, ect.. and using photos I’ve taken. I’d like a logo that is fitting with my channel and helps it stand out.
