Oh MAN those are nicely cut shrubs. Don't be afraid to use the machine 'upside down" for sides or the bottoms or in a tight spot. The long single side machines are way popular in Europe... they are the kings of shrubbery. I understand why people dont love these machines, but I sure as heck do, especially since I shear so much overgrowth and tough bushes. The debris catcher is a time saver. Subbed!
Appreciate you tuning in Sam!😁👍 That's interesting to hear from over there! 24" double sided are by far the most popular here in the states I'd say. Glad to hear your loving your man!
@@wyattslawnservice7212 I'm not from Europe but I know many gardeners who are. they are heads and shoulders above my skill level, and they love single sideds. My 28" single sided and echo articulating trimmers are my go-tos.
Yo Brocaroni & Cheese!!! Yo Brocanator!! Yo Eggs Bronadict!!! Another great video Cuz. Some very well thought out & valid points for ppl. looking to buy a trimmer. Did you happen to see the Echo trimmer where the handle pivots into different directions making it easier to use?? Cam, from CallGrassmater was showing it off on IG. Man did it look super cool & easy to use. But, the model you were using looked sweet too. And the hat is fresh kid!!! Until da next one hope all is well & Dirty Jersey out!!!
Whattup Mikey! I didn't get a chance to check out what Cameron was using. I'll have to look into it! This trimmer is nice but it's serves a very specific niche. Other than that I'd recommend something cheaper and more versatile. But echo trimmers sure do have a hell of a cut!😁👍
this is 1 of 2 echo hedge trimmers I'm looking into buying in the near future, This and the HC3020, I currently use a STIHL KM 91R and HL-KM 145 articulating hedge trimmer attachment. This one sure does a great job at both clean-ups and sculpting. The HCS4020 and HCS3020 seem like they're made more for left handed users like me.
It's definitely great for sculpting shrubs! Hope you love whichever one you decide to get man!😎💪 Unfortunately I don't think left handed people have an advantage with this because you still have to hold it the same way. And then your dominate hand isn't one the directing it as much. But idk 🤷
@@wyattslawnservice7212 I'm for the most part left handed, when I trim hedges I use both hands because I have a lot of oddly shaped hedges that I have to trim
Its expensive. It does however trim alot better than the 250.00 echo hedge trimmers and that extra length of cut can come in handy to reach across wider hedge rows.
I could only justify this hedge trimmer if I had super long rows of hedges. I bought the Stihl with the articulating handle. Ask a Stihl to see if you can demo one. They are great. Shrubs look great Sir.
You get used to it. Just a different mindset to using only the one side. It's the opposite of cumbersome, being able to reach longer and lower saves the back, the shoulders, and time!
Wow that thing cut great! Although I like my gas powered trimmers, I always find myself grabbing my Milwaukee trimmers more often. Still have great power and they are 1/4 of the weight of a gas one. You should look into them!😉 but I do like how it has the leaf collector on it. Great vid bro! P.S. I like your hat 😎
LOTS of commercial grade hedge trimmers cost $500+. I owned 30 inch single sided trimmers before they came out with 40 inch trimmers ( YES I'm that old) I gave away my both my 30 inch single sided trimmers so that my employees wouldn't try to use them. The 40 inch saved SOOOO much time on the average job, that anything shorter was a waste of time.
Texas Veteran is going to try and steal ur sambraro:-)...you are holding that 4020..and ur biceps are bigger then mine.....haha:WYATT SMASH!!!.. idk if u knw but they make red armor oil for those trimmers...
I think it's the blade cleaner....or lube...it's a see thru bottle , it says red armor oil..I think it also says lubricating...it's the one that u can drip on there....my slow self I got a magazine I'll take a pict..and instagram it.
Nice work mate that thing sure does cut nicely. I've thought about a bigger hedger like this but honestly the start getting too heavy and unbalanced for long hours of straight hedge trimming at body corps etc. so I like my smaller, lighter Shindaiwa unit, though I am looking heavily at the HS46C stihl because its so light so its super easy to swing around. Just checked Stihl's website though and the comparable unit to this that they have (HS87T) is AU$999 for us so your getting a bargain at US$500 lol. That I certainly couldn't really justify either at this time though the half price deal I got for my Shindy DH230 was definitely worth it even though its only a 24" or so
Well that goes into my review 😎👍 by the end I explain why I personally wouldn't buy it. But that it could be great for people in other areas. It's definitely uncomfortable to hold compared to the traditional styling
Sweet video Wyatt!! 😁
Thank you sir!😁👍
@@wyattslawnservice7212 You got it brother! 😀👊
Good review, thanks brother.
Appreciate it man! And I love the vids on the ferris mowers! I'm interested in demoing one 😁👍

Awesome review brother. I cant wait to get the 3820
Appreciate it man. I definitely that is better suited for an area like yours
thumbs up
Thanks!😎👌
I have enough hedges on my property to justify a better hedger. This one looks good. Especially like that second handle.
Definitely! Depending on how many hedges you have, it might cost the same to have a professional do it once
Excellent review and great job on the trimming
Appreciate it!😎🤘

Great trimmer. Just pricey. Good job
Thanks 😁👍
Nice vid
Thanks 😊

The long reach with it is nice to have!
Manicured to perfection. Great job Wyatt. That Echo really has a nice finished cut.
Thanks Brian! That it does 😎👊
I like the way your shrubs always turn out. I feel that thing will also double as a good training hedge trimmer for someone learning the motion.
Appreciate it man!😁🙌 And I didn't think of that! Very true 🤔
Great job friend 👍
Thank you for the review on this.
But oh my goodness
$$$Wow$$$
However - it wouldn't take long to pay for itself.
That is pretty neat, I'm going to take a look at one.
They are expensive but totally worth it in areas like yours. Just doesn't make sense for me

Great review the shrubs are looking nice a true professional take care and God Bless. PS. Like the hat lol
Great cut with that machine bro! Yeah I’m with you that price point is a bit too steep for me but the quality looks great. Great review! 💪🏼😎
Thanks Teno!😎👍
seems like it cuts good and the leaf rake seems to work well as also but one that big just seems to cumbersome. but id have to use it to know lol
Long time no see man! how have you been? And yeah, Definitely have to check one out in person.
@@wyattslawnservice7212 Been alright i reckon. working all the time lol. i actually just finished a 2019 setup video. going to upload it soon.

I like the idea of it being able to take the dead stuff off as you go. But being one sided, I don think id enjoy that much. Great review.
Appreciate it Scotty! Yep that's definitely a downside to it and ultimately a reason I personally wouldn't buy it. 👍
Is that a mancave or a He-shed?
He shed 😂

Hey Wyatt just a quick question what state do you live in and how big is the town that you live in
Wyatt you do an AWESOME job hedge trimming. Where did you get the hat, it's awesome.
Thanks man! And SA fishing company. $30 for that hat and 3 face shields 😎👍

Looks like a good hedge trimmer. I think the 2420 would be the best fit for you. Are you going to buy another hedge trimmer?
I think so too. But not now. What I have works. Don't really want to be spending money on other equipment if I don't have to haha

Great video. It looks like it would be heavy to hold after a big hedge trim
It gets uncomfortable after a while 😔
How did you make the background white and have the trimmer
I found a picture of it on Google with a white black and zoomed in haha. I'm not good at using the software to cut images out of backgrounds 🤷😂👌
Wyatt's lawn service oh ok lol well thank you for responding I look up to your channel as I just started mine I’m in ny

It cuts amazing but yep that's definitely a downside I talked about in the video. It's only really good for a very special niche 😁👍
