What a game, what a game. Masaya Makamura, the enjoyment you have given to people is simply breathtaking. You will always be remembered for the marvelous game you created. On behalf of myself and all who enjoy playing Pac-Man, thank you very much. RIP.
Just about to download it for a modded ps3 for my son and daughter ages 9&10.. Memories in the making : ) Played the originals as a kid in the 80's... Could never get enough pacman
I played the hell out of Pac-Man, Galaga, Dig Dug, Ms. Pac-Man, and Pole Position I & II on this thing, and their respective arrangement titles (if they had them, so no arrangement for Ms Pac and Pole Pos.) and I Loved this collection. Even if there's no silly special additions, the replayability and overall simple, plain fun these games had more than made up for it. Thank you so much, Nakamura.
Man, I remember playing this back in the day!!! Man, I miss the early 2010s. Yes, I know by that time the PS2 was dying, but still. I did play the Namco Museum Essentials(though just the downloadable demo version) on PS3 as well though, so there's that.
I would always play this game with my dad or my neighbor and we would always play the arrangement versions of Pac Man, Dig Dug and Galaga all the way through.
Cool, thanks for the video. I have this game but the blue disc bottom won't play on my original PS2. Namco should reissue these on PS4 already, especially the arrangement update games for Pac Man and Dig Dug.
This is the best game ever for the ps2. I'll think of buying it on amazon for the xbox since GameStop dosent sell xbox games anymore and I have a xbox 360 which should be playable. Also my ps2 is broken.
I used to have a game similar to this as a child but it had an openworld-ish aspect to it or something where you could select the games via an in game 3d hub

roymcgeeters That is not what happens. If you mess up and need to kill off all your other lives just to start over, you do not need to wait for it to load back up again. They made it to be more like you are in the arcade. Think about that.

I live in nostalgia because the present is hell
I just got this game for my GameCube for about $10-$15. I'm about to relive a good part of my childhood 🔥🔥

It's crap as it doesnt display in native arcade resolutions for those games.
Not unless you emulate the game on PCSX2 with native resolution.
