I was looking for the Peach Cobbler but it is 2 1/2 hours away near Tampa. Can’t wait for these little ones to grow.
Keep the videos coming 🤝
I love them all. Peach Cobbler is excellent
what nursery?
Julie’s Nursery?
@@Samerai yes I’m Apopka. Very nice people
Julie’s nursery is the BEST! I go there once a month to grab up fruit trees
Thanks for the link. Exactly what I was searching for. Your house is a fruit paradise!
You provide some great content!! Thank you!!! I knew Pablo Lara going back about 25 years. I spent many days going around with him and picking fruit from his fruit trees. He was a treasure . Julian is wonderful as well. God Bless!!!
Super Kew West coming soon from Lara Farms, the best mamey ever. The fruit is enormous, super sweet. The scions were taken from a 50 year old seedling tree.
Sounds great!
🤔
I don't really like mamey, but I do like green sapote. I had a Pace with Julian on e and it was outstanding
When is the season for pumpkin pie?
Thinking about Viejo, Pace, and Lorito or Cepeda especial
Green sapote is a lot faster flower to harvest.
Great video. And info.
I really enjoyed this video. Any updates on your pumpkin pie Mamey trees such as the season it fruits, productivity and how it compares to other varieties flavor-wise?
not yet. I don't remember when I made the video but since one pumpkin Mamey died, the other is doing okay
Just received my pace mamey from laura Farms🤙🏾
I planted a mamey zapote seed here in Long Beach, CA. Right now it's in a pot and doing really well. Our winters get down to the low 50's sometimes high 40's at night. Hopefully it will flourish here.
keep us updated
@@FruitfulTrees I will. Many tropical fruit trees will grow and produce in this region. I've started quite a few tropicals from seeds. I also have enormous papaya trees. Great videos. Take care.
Hey... Greetings from the central Pacific coast of Costa Rica.
We're loving all of your videos!!
I was hoping you can help with a question about Mamey Sapote tree's.
I recently purchased a young, grafted Mamey sapote tree. After watching your videos, I just had to have one.😊
The problem I have is, I'm running out of space in my yard for more fruit tree's.
Do you know if grafted Mamey tree's have invasive root systems?
I plan on keeping it pruned to about 10 feet.
One of the only places I have in the yard to plant it would be about 10 feet from our swimming pool.
What would your opinion be about that?
Thanks so much for your help and keep up the awesome videos!!
Nice video, great job, wishing you success always!!!
Super 😊
I just plant my mamey sapote lorito. Just for collection, along with durian and avocado.
How large do the mamey trees grow? I just received one that’s 9 years old but she’s been cutting it back every year so it’s only 4/5 feet tall. Trying to decide where to plant it.
They will grow very big so leave enough space.
I am thinking about buying the Viejo from Lara Farms. Can you tell me how long it takes for the Viejo fruit to develop? I heard is 18 months to 24 months?
I think what you heard is correct
How's the Viejo mamey? I heard it tastes different and they're small
My wife wants a Mamey tree, but not sure which type of mamey to get. I live in arizona.
Hello I live in Perth, Western Australia, thankyou for the video. People tell me the Green Sapote (Pouteria viridis) is actually sweeter tasting. What are your thoughts on this?
Depends on the Variety, maybe a little sweeter but very close to the same
Amazing👍🌱
I am watching from Nepal.

Please reply !
Nice. I get my honey from Nepal. Best honey in the world.
It's growing and fruiting in Indian states like Kerala so I planted in Telangana ...growing well
@@Dimpul26 whats duration from seedlings to fruiting?, In India where you can buy these seedlings?
@@quotient8854 seedling to fruiting it takes 6-8 years and if grafted or airlayered plant than it takes 3 years...in Kerala they are selling seedling one plant for for 1500 INR
@@Dimpul26how much airlayered plants in india??
I want to plant mamey sapote tree, but unfortunately in my country, India, available seedlings only, no grafted varieties.
Where did you get your pumpkin variety. I don’t see it on that website
Leaph in West palm Beach sold them to me. I've done videos with him
Yummy Mamey!!!
I can't find the pumpkin pie mamey! Only in 25 and 50 gal and for ridiculous prices... do you know where there are any 3 and 7 gal? I just want one. Or are you willing to part ways with one of your two? 😀
I don't know who has them that size right now
Hey there! I am searching for the pumpkin pie mamey. Where did you get yours? I'm in your general area.
Contact Leaph on FB I got 2 from him. I've interviewed him before in my vidos
@@FruitfulTrees is it Leaph nursery?

Sir iam from india how can I get this plant
call Lara Farms but I dont' know who you would get it in India
I'm sure local indian also sell a lot of this seedling. You just have to search, because here in indonesia, there are a lot of mamey sapote seedling seller, eventho a lot pf people doesnt know about this fruit.
@@bl4ckb3ll thank you
Well I impulsively bought an excaliber mamey variety from excaliber. Have you ever tried it? Know anyone that has a tree and willing to share one so I can try it...
I have not tried that one
I would call that a Sapodilla not a mamey, although they are both sapote varieties. Watching your channel reminds me so much of visiting Mexico as a child and just being so surprised by the amount and varieties of fruits.
I mean here in the US even in the 80s it was mostly just apples and bananas in the regular supermarkets. But now you can buy most fruits of one variety or another in our local stores. We used to have to grow our own avocados and fruits, because you just couldn’t find them at the stores.
each country has its own name but in America it'a a mamey
It's never ripe in the stores
The on I ate tasted like a sweet potato with a hint of cinnamon
Viejo STRAIN IS FIRE- Better than Key west
Hiiiii
