I visited another elephant sanctuary in Thailand called Elephant Nature Park where the owner wouldn't let the mahouts to carry any instruments to control the elephants, and I noticed the elephants didn't misbehave not even once. I think elephant is such intelligent and good nature animal, we ought to treat them with kindness!
The first worker in the blue shirt is not holding milk bottle properly in his hand. Instead of paying attention to the baby elephant and supporting the bottle and the elephant mouth with his second had all that he is doing is looking here and there. These worker should watch some videos how elephant caretakers in David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, Nairobi take care of baby elephants.
Ranjan Prakash I’m so angry at the one poking them with a stick! Many of the elephants are bullying others and that’s a sign of abusive caretakers! DSWT HAS SET THE STANDARD SO HIGH! I agree with you Ranjan!
Going hear is my dream vacation the vacation ill save 2 years to go see the saved orphens and donate in person some vegies and little cash and id love to help the keepers at one of the reserves you can see how important this is if it wasent for this place all thease elophents would be dead every one hear amazing when i think of that
Put that stick down! That chunky baby Ellie at 3:55 was so stinking cute! I love baby Ellie’s! I seriously do not like that mahout using the stick to poke them. That’s so not necessary at all. Makes me question the staff!
It is to stop them misbehaving pushing other calves around and trying to get extra milk, they have probably used the cane as punishment but told not to be seen using it when tourist's are around to film them using it.

Ilike baby elephants ever and never cho cute.
I don't understand why the elephant care staff must carry a cane with them?!?!
Probably as a controlling tool to direct the baby elephants to their feeding locations.

Do these elephants go back to the wild?
Yes, I heard that they are released to the wild when they can tend to themselves
Why he carrying stick ?
Probably as a controlling tool
I am so angry. Some Ellie’s are bullying too and that’s often a sign of abuse. Have you seen any DSWT Videos? They’re amazing!
