    This documentary doesn't show anything!! Just an advertisement by some hotels and companies. Poorly organized with very little information!!!!
    The major achievement and priority and the envy of all surrounding nations of that country is their POLITICAL STABILITY!
    It is the only country where presidential elections is surrounded by an euphoria of festival. In Ghana, presidential elections are seen as Christmas celebration. It was not mentioned anywhere in this video. The peaceful atmosphere and warm hearts of the citizens is mentioned nowhere in this documentary.
    A country made up of many different tribes, many different religions but the atmosphere is always peaceful.
    The next time you make a documentary about a country, make sure to conduct enough research!!!!

    Just a pity that the rich & powerful have no interest in helping the average Ghanaian have a better life.The top 10 richest men in Ghana have all been in various governments over the years the current President is the 6th richest man in Ghana.Remarkable none of the 10 richest women have inherited their wealth.It would be nice though if they could just keep the lights on & the water flowing.

      When Ghanaians cry to you people for help you turn a blind ear and a blind eye.when we ask you to help hold our leaders accountable you turn your back towards us.why? because deep down majority of you like the condition Africa is in.you whites and your governments are the ones aiding and negotiating with the corrupt leaders to cheat the average Ghanaian.you kill any righteous leader that comes out of Africa.once the leader has a vision for Africa you kill him.because you feel threatened.most of your wealth came and still comes from Africa and you know this.so your governments are always shaking when they see Africa rising.you think we don't know?we know.you people have painted Africa black and unpleasant to other races.even things which aren't true such that alot of races still believe Africans live on trees even in 2019.dont be hypocrites.yes you as a personal person maybe righteous but your country and the leaders in your so called developed countries aren't.they know what they are doing to Africa.even though we know we still welcome you all with love.but for Africa,our God will judge,our God will continue to judge and punish those hypocrites called developed countries who claim to help but are actually of the mind to destroy.africa will continue to shine.

      Jessi love yes I have been in Ghana several times for extended periods often people who are not born in a country see it with its warts and all.l long for the day when elderly people in Ghana no longer have to go to the river to fetch water when the sick are cared for and the young have a future.I love Africa and especially Ghana and I am the first to admit that European colonization of Africa was a disgrace and in lots of cases genocide as in the DRC under Leopoldo.However 63 years later Ghanaians need to see the truth that its 2 favorite sons Kwame Nkrumah and Jerry Rawlings at the very least became very wealthy whilst in power.Nkrumah was not known as Mr 10% for nothing and Mr Rawlings like most dictators had a way of silencing his critics.

    • @NAwere
      @NAwere 7 років тому +5

      mark mensah perhaps you should analyse what it means to be the second largest gold producer before making your assumptions. it could mean a few hundred million dollars annually, which is not enough to take 25 million people out of poverty.

    • @bujujohnson2170
      @bujujohnson2170 6 років тому

      Yes, because the Politicians sold the gold fields, among other industries, to Western Corporate companies. In short, Ghana does not own its natural resources any longer. The greedy politicians sold them get their personal 10% bribes. In the case of the gold, one of the guys who sold the gold field was even knighted by the British queen for giving the British the goldfields.

    • @gacaptain
      @gacaptain 6 років тому

      It's because there are only gold mines in Ghana but it is just now only starting to get a few small gold refineries. Ghana mostly sells unrefined gold (which is mostly dirt and cheap compared to the refined gold you buy in jewlery etc.) to other countries that then refine it and sell the refined gold for much much more money.
      There are only a few large gold refineries in the World. They are mostly in Switzerland, America, Canada, Australia, South Africa and China. Gold refining is a very complex expensive operation.

    • @gacaptain
      @gacaptain 6 років тому +2

      Nelsona Awere
      You're right. Ghana produces close to the same amount of Gold as Canada or Australia and has close to their population. But Gold is only a small part of those countries economies. They also mine huge amounts of coal and aluminum bauxite, they make aluminum and aluminum products, automobiles, machinary, have large tourist and agri sectors, They are very diverse. They aren't just sitting around waiting for gold to solve their problems. But they also make a lot more off of Gold because they have their own Gold refineries unlike Ghana.
