Fyi. Freeze pie crust for a layer day once you wrap it in Saran wrap. Then use that wrap to roll out the dough, between 2 sheets of plastic wrap....no flour needed. Take off the top sheet, transfer to pie dish easily, no tearing, then remove bottom sheet. Super easy and no mess. Love your ideas!
For the ice cube hack, that also works with iced coffee. Make coffee ice cubes and add them to your iced coffee. It won't dilute you coffee like regular ice cubes made from water!

Love these ideas! Your pie looks heavenly! My boys and I make small cookies with the left over pie dough. Roll and cut like sugar cookies and sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon before baking. Then they feel included in the 'pie' baking.

you can also freeze or refrigerate the dough already in the pan and just pop it in the oven (with metal pie pans)

Yes! Hot glue for the gingerbread house. We still eat them too. Just break off the part with the glue. 😂😂
