Nice work on those Stuart and thanks for another excellent video!!
Thank you Andrew 🙂
Fabulous work Stuart and thanks for doing these for me. I have lots of ideas now how to tackle my BattleFront building collection. Paul
Thank you Paul, was great fun doing it, cheers for letting me do this to your models as well.
This is top notch and makes a ton of difference 😍
Cheers mate 🙂
Great video mate, I was looking at Flames of War terrain thinking it was all a bit bright only a few days ago, this has definitely inspired me!
Cheers!
Thank you 😊. That’s exactly my thoughts, I’ve done the same with my roads from them as well.
Great ideas, thank you
Thank you 😊
Really cool weathering
Thank you 😊
Great work👏🏻👏🏻
Thank you 😊
Great video as always dude!
Cheers mate 🙂
The building look awesome and I am going to have to spend some time pimping up mine. Getting tempted to give airbrushing a go, been thinking about getti g one forca while :)
Thank you Aled 😊
You should definitely get an airbrush, I’ll talk you through what you need if you like, so much time saving and great on tanks and terrain.
@@MiniatureRealms that would be brilliant if you could :). I have looked before but admit to be worried that I would end up with totally the wrong things snd it would just sit there unused.
Will try and get online soon for a catch up and we can chat about it then
Great stuff. I may give this a try when the mountain of buildings come in for the Gettysburg game. I tried a test model and just used a wash over the building and it looked okay, but want to try this to see if I like it better.
If you stick to the airbrushing parts it’s a pretty quick method of you have a lot to get through.
@@MiniatureRealms First half of the order went out today for, I think, 20 buildings. Hopefully get those and get started on them by the end of the month. The second half will probably get ordered in mid-January. My airbrush is definitely going to be my best friend. I painted the Bryan House and barn as the test with just a brush and that didn't take too long, but I think you're right that an airbrush will make things faster.
Looking forward to seeing how you get on with these.
Would be good to do a 360 rotation of the original side-by-side with the finished at the end of the video. Would really show off the improvement.
That’s a great idea thank you, if I do another I’ll try and do that.
Seeing the thumbnail I thought: 'Damn, he is branching out again, into miniature railways! What about the Wars of the Roses project, and BoFA, and ... !' :-)
By the way, any chance of you getting a review copy of the new Hail Caesar rules?
😂 Yeah I won’t be branching out into model railways.
I’m not really a Hail Caesar expert so I don’t think Warlord will be sending me a copy.
Great video! After applying the pigments, do you use any type of "fixer" so the pigments do not brush off?
Thank you.
When I apply the pigment I blow 90% off, what’s left is in the texture of the building and stains the lower wall. Basically if it was a flat surface I’d use another method, but because it’s over texture, it works fine.
Bugger. Stu I have lots of the European buildings and other Battlefield in a Box stuff and the main benefit is that it looks great and can go straight on the table and now…
… perhaps it can’t.
Bugger😉
😂 If it’s any consolation, it doesn’t take too long to do 😅
Is that an N gauge railway track i see in the thumbnail?
It’s Battlefront’s Battlefield in a box Flames of War terrain, not sure if they scaled it beyond working with their 15mm range, but I’m sure it won’t be far off N gauge.
why the annoying music danm!
Thanks for the constructive feedback 😜
Or you kidding, music is just fine, and how about focusing on the great weathering techniques?!
@@DavidFreitas-l2q the music drove me away FAST
Another excellent video Stuart! You make these projects look so easy 😁. I’ll certainly be giving your techniques a try. I have had a good airbrush for ages, but lack the confidence to use it as often as I should. Thanks again. Keith
Thank you Keith 😊
Definitely don’t be frightened to give airbrushing a go, even if you start with drawing lines on paper to practice the basics and control.
