  • The method I use in this video for cutting can be used to trim bangs and make them less blunt / more wispy

Thank you! I just ordered the wig and for sure will be thinning it and shortening it. Your video was very useful. Learned a different method than the one I saw Denise do. Thanks!

Oh thank you so much for this video Beautiful! I love this wig and have been wanting to get this wig ever since I saw Denise's (HeyWigSister) review but as much as I love long wigs and having a small petite head, Autoimmune Diseases, Fibromyalgia , Allondyia, Migraines and several other multiple chronic pain afflictions and Chronic Fatigue I'm afflicted with that affect my body temp and mobility I knew cuz I could tell by the videos I've seen of it and the Amazon photos it would be way to long, thick and heavy for my liking on me and for my spine, neck afflictions and mobility challenges but those waves and the colors you show here and the price are exactly what I'm looking for. I have boho headbands I love to wear with my other Amazon Headband wig and my other wigs so this wig has been sitting at the top of my headband/ updo wig wishlist but I havent made the plunge cuz even after watching Denise's review and video which were also very good on thinning it out and cutting it a few times I still havent felt confident enough to get it and try thinning & cutting it mostly cuz I have ADHD and I struggle with a bit of being a perfectionist when it comes to projects, crafts, creations and my cutting skills are not that great and Hubby and I are on a one income small monthly budget so that adds to my anxiety of not wanting to mess up the wigs I buy cuz I cant just replace them right away. And I dont have much or very attractive bio hair left , and its always been thin and fine my whole life so its even more so now. So going outside of my home with what bio hair I have without a hat, scarf, bandana or without a wig to hide it isnt a comfortable choice for me anymore. I've lost alot more of my bio hair since December 2023 and I cant style it anymore as there's not enough of it and even the most lightweight hair accessories including Bobby pins just slide out even with a litte product in it and a few months ago I had to cut the length off that was to the top of my shoulders cuz from the ears down it just turns into cotton candy texture and then I have so many Alopecia patches in the crown and throughout my head that are bald or look like someone just buzzed random patches of hair off my head. Also if it grows to any length the hair just falls out, is transparent so I'm at that point where I'm just ready to ve d9ne with the bio hair I have left and buzz it off. I've watched your and many others stories/ journeys who also have Alopecia and other types of hair loss and have been considering buzzing it all off for the last 7 mos. Also its 115-125 out here in the desert state I live in and I'm over the state my bio hair is in and this summer desert heat. I feel it will be cooler and better for me if I just buzz the rest of my bio hair off and that it will make my wig grip and cap stay on better. I currently put several bobby pins on my wig grip and wig cap to keep them from sliding off my bio hair before I put my wigs on. And any hair accessory or a ponytail band hurts my head and triggers a Alondyia flare up on my scalp. My scalp does not hurt when I wear wigs, hats , scarves etc but barretts, clips, etc, and ponytails have hurt my scalp for years no matter how loose. The only wig I dont have to secure my wig grip and wig cap with bobby pins to my bio hair is my headband wigs cuz I use the boho headband on my wigs . So I'm ready to try wigs with a buzzed head and be done with this bio hair hot mess. I have alot of anxiety about cutting/ trimming, tweaking a wig but your videos are so encouraging, good, easy to understand, you explain your technique and show it so well and they make me feel brave. When Covid started I started giving myself DIY bio hair haircuts and hubby has had me cut what bio hair he has left too from watching UA-cam videos . And my hubby wouldn't let anyone touch his hair but the hairstylist who cut his hair his whole adult life and weve been together almost 33 years and he said he likes the way I cut the bio hair he has left as he has hair loss too so I've been cutting our bio hair since Covid broke out by teaching myself from UA-cam Videos. Our haircuts are far from professional but we've been able to live with them and feel ok about them . And after watching your technique here and seeing I dont have to cut wigs bluntly or use a complicated technique I feel more confident . I prefer layered and messy hair style wigs and messy easy layered bio haircuts. And I've been so anxious and scared to slightly trim or cut a wig cuz the hair doesn't grow back so Ive been really struggling with that new wig wearers anxiety doing something out of my comfort zone and trying a new skill. But even a wiggy wig looks better than the current Alopecia state bio hair I have. And the way you've thinned this wig out and the length you've cut it is exactly what I wanted this wig to look like.
