King James' version doesn't come from true text. Back in the 16 century, the King James version was published, but the English Standard Version was written in the 15th century and revised. Jesus didn't speak the way they did in the 16th century. Any version, if it stays true to the Word of God should be read to help those trying to understand the Bible, and that, my friend, is the best way. Be careful of legalism and forms of control.

The first night I was there, I had a terrible night's sleep, with intermittent nightmares. The second night, I put the Dream Catcher in a cupboard and enjoyed a wonderful night's sleep. I would never stay anywhere with a Dream Catcher now.
Dream catchers are supposed to trap bad dreams and keep them away from the sleeper, not bring them. This could have been a cheap mass produced piece of art. Mass produced items can have negative energy attached to them, especially if the workers are exploited. If you sense negative energy around an object, purify it, or remove it and dispose of it. If there is an angry spirit trapped, purify and release it, pray over it to sanctify it and send it back home to where it should be. I threw away all crosses, crucifix, and all false photos and false pictures of fake Jesus. Don't get me wrong, I believe in Yeshua. And his teachings, I woke up and realized that crosses, crucifix, and other so-called religious objects are a form of idolatry.
Crosses are not a form of worship. If you bow to a cross, that is worship. No Christian bows to any cross. A cross symbolizes the death of Christ. It represents the event. Just like the book of the Bible. We don't worship that book because we have one. It's just a physical book that represents The Word of God. The book has no power. The Word of God does.

He told His disciples "... and when you do this...." suggesting the practice would continue and He said "... happy are ye if ye do this...." So there is nothing wrong in remembering the cross. What is wrong, is people who call themselves Christians, who don't read the Bible, don't LIVE out what it says. People will be very surprised who ascends when He returns and who will NOT ascend with Him.

I’m not clear on idolatry. Statues are popular especially of Mary and various saints. This video states there should be no graven images and we should not worship them. Even if not actually worshipping the statue itself many are chosen as representative of a holy figure. Do necklaces with depictions of the crucifixion of Christ fall into this category?

This presentation is very nicely done overall, but, I would like to point something out that I think is important. Everything we see around us is nothing more than an image of that thing or person projected to our retinas and then interpreted by our brains. That is, we only see images of what we look at. My point is this, Jesus was seen in the flesh by the people who saw Him two millennia ago. This is why the Catholic Church allows statues of Jesus to be made as God Himself was seen in the flesh while living on earth. To me, it seems to be disingenuous of the author to silently slip in an image of a saint or Christ while discussing Buddha, suggesting that statues of saints or Jesus are pagan idols or gods. Catholics do not worship or adore statues but we do adore and worship Christ when He is present to us in Person.

you guys, does anyone have thoughts or experiences concerning fictional characters connected to spirits? warning: my comment is like a whole journal entry. have fun reading if you want haha I’ve been VERY sensitive to characters for a while and lately the feeling that there’s something more to them, especially certain ones, keeps coming back even more. some characters are extremely precious to me, while there are others I admire, but don’t want to copy their traits in my life because they’re unstable or have questionable motives. there are a few that seem like real people to me and who I consider as friends. I don’t know if it’s because I’m autistic or if there’s something going on. I ask Jesus about it and I trust him, but I don’t trust my feelings and I don’t even know if I should seek guidance from people on this or if I just have an imagination like everyone else. it’s pretty ridiculous, but I think about it a lot. I’ve said the word ‘channeling’ frequently to refer to my way of using characters or experiencing things from their perspective inside the canon story or headcanons that I invent and control. but I don’t communicate with them or anything. and yet even something like that, which has felt like a good thing and a special part of my life, could be more significant than I understand. characters are actually part of my daily life because certain ones feel present inside me. it feels grounding, like the feeling of keeping something in my pocket that’s significant to me, that no one’s rly aware of and that I’m glad for. like I can pull them to the surface, remember them for comfort or have them near me as a fellow person. also because they’re the main element of my shifting, which affects my sleeping and waking. I feel like there’s something I should find out about, so I’m searching for memories and beginnings and I’m searching myself. I don’t want to be fearful all of a sudden. I don’t want to start focusing on what ifs. but the main thoughts that started bothering me the past couple days are “what if these characters are vessels or spirits themselves, and demons secretly gained access undetected by being or impersonating characters and pretending to encourage me?” and I also think “what if my mental comfort spaces and the fictional characters and stories important to me are safe and good so the devil is trying to ruin it by putting stupid thoughts in my head and making me think I’ve been doing something detrimental?” I mean, my response to certain fiction has been detrimental a couple times, but that wasn’t a way of life or part of my personality and choices. it was because I was as sensitive to these things as I am now, but newly experiencing them at a time when I was more immature. this is something I hold close to my heart, but I don’t mind if you ask me any and all questions. pls feel free and thank you in advance for your time! 🩵 p.s. wait I actually did involve some form of ‘communication’ but if these characters are just characters, then that’s not what this was. I thought it was worth a shot, so I tried asking a character something in a lucid dream. I did this twice because that’s the amount of times I was able to lucid dream at all, so when I got into that state, I was aware of my goal. I had a question I was genuinely wondering about, concerning that character’s choices and experiences. something I would ask that person if I could. this was less me trying to communicate with a character, thinking I could do that, and more of me thinking “what would happen if I asked a fictional character a question in a lucid dream?” I thought maybe his response would indicate to me if there was someone else involved or if my imagination was creating his response based on my conscious and subconscious perception of that character. both times I tried this, he was aware of me before I was able to approach. both times he turned and looked me dead in the eyes, something that doesn’t happen with people in my dreams. this is someone with powerful energy in his eyes and whose emotions I am very familiar with. it’s someone who is like a friend in my life, but not a friend to me personally. Idk if I can explain it. I always consider him a friend, but he’s only friends with me personally when I’m not me. when I channel this other character a lot, who is his friend. or when I switch to that character in my mind, then he’s my friend and I’m his friend because the person I am temporarily is his friend, you know? anyway, both times I was ejected from the lucid dream as soon as he made eye contact. I could feel the intensity and calm control of his will, like a force and it was also something I could see in his eyes, but in here I couldn’t read his expressions. I was just left with the feeling that he didn’t want me there

King James' version doesn't come from true text. Back in the 16 century, the King James version was published, but the English Standard Version was written in the 15th century and revised. Jesus didn't speak the way they did in the 16th century. Pray for those who wish us harm, we dont know the struggles they are going through. But above all, NEVER turn anyone away. God wants us to accept all people. Dont turn that pregnant teen away, or the drug user. Dont turn away the divorced woman, through no fault of her own, excommunicated from church due to the outcome of her husbands infidelity. Don't turn away the loose men and women, it is when they are being tested that they need God and his flock to rally around those faced with hardships and lacking in or questioning their faith. Lets get back to building a food pantry to get others through the lean times and having bake sales and yard sales to help then get back to school and the Holidays. Or to help pay propert taxes.

This presentation is very nicely done overall, but, I would like to point something out that I think is important. Everything we see around us is nothing more than an image of that thing or person projected to our retinas and then interpreted by our brains. That is, we only see images of what we look at. My point is this, Jesus was seen in the flesh by the people who saw Him two millennia ago. This is why the Catholic Church allows statues of Jesus to be made as God Himself was seen in the flesh while living on earth. To me, it seems to be disingenuous of the author to silently slip in an image of a saint or Christ while discussing Buddha, suggesting that statues of saints or Jesus are pagan idols or gods. Catholics do not worship or adore statues but we do adore and worship Christ when He is present to us in Person.

I’ve been VERY sensitive to characters for a while and lately the feeling that there’s something more to them, especially certain ones, keeps coming back even more. some characters are extremely precious to me, while there are others I admire, but don’t want to copy their traits in my life because they’re unstable or have questionable motives. there are a few that seem like real people to me and who I consider as friends. I don’t know if it’s because I’m autistic or if there’s something going on. I ask Jesus about it and I trust him, but I don’t trust my feelings and I don’t even know if I should seek guidance from people on this or if I just have an imagination like everyone else. it’s pretty ridiculous, but I think about it a lot.
I’ve said the word ‘channeling’ frequently to refer to my way of using characters or experiencing things from their perspective inside the canon story or headcanons that I invent and control. but I don’t communicate with them or anything. and yet even something like that, which has felt like a good thing and a special part of my life, could be more significant than I understand. characters are actually part of my daily life because certain ones feel present inside me. it feels grounding, like the feeling of keeping something in my pocket that’s significant to me, that no one’s rly aware of and that I’m glad for. like I can pull them to the surface, remember them for comfort or have them near me as a fellow person. also because they’re the main element of my shifting, which affects my sleeping and waking.
I feel like there’s something I should find out about, so I’m searching for memories and beginnings and I’m searching myself. I don’t want to be fearful all of a sudden. I don’t want to start focusing on what ifs. but the main thoughts that started bothering me the past couple days are “what if these characters are vessels or spirits themselves, and demons secretly gained access undetected by being or impersonating characters and pretending to encourage me?” and I also think “what if my mental comfort spaces and the fictional characters and stories important to me are safe and good so the devil is trying to ruin it by putting stupid thoughts in my head and making me think I’ve been doing something detrimental?” I mean, my response to certain fiction has been detrimental a couple times, but that wasn’t a way of life or part of my personality and choices. it was because I was as sensitive to these things as I am now, but newly experiencing them at a time when I was more immature.
this is something I hold close to my heart, but I don’t mind if you ask me any and all questions. pls feel free and thank you in advance for your time! 🩵

I thought it was worth a shot, so I tried asking a character something in a lucid dream. I did this twice because that’s the amount of times I was able to lucid dream at all, so when I got into that state, I was aware of my goal. I had a question I was genuinely wondering about, concerning that character’s choices and experiences. something I would ask that person if I could. this was less me trying to communicate with a character, thinking I could do that, and more of me thinking “what would happen if I asked a fictional character a question in a lucid dream?” I thought maybe his response would indicate to me if there was someone else involved or if my imagination was creating his response based on my conscious and subconscious perception of that character.
both times I tried this, he was aware of me before I was able to approach. both times he turned and looked me dead in the eyes, something that doesn’t happen with people in my dreams. this is someone with powerful energy in his eyes and whose emotions I am very familiar with. it’s someone who is like a friend in my life, but not a friend to me personally. Idk if I can explain it. I always consider him a friend, but he’s only friends with me personally when I’m not me. when I channel this other character a lot, who is his friend. or when I switch to that character in my mind, then he’s my friend and I’m his friend because the person I am temporarily is his friend, you know?
anyway, both times I was ejected from the lucid dream as soon as he made eye contact. I could feel the intensity and calm control of his will, like a force and it was also something I could see in his eyes, but in here I couldn’t read his expressions. I was just left with the feeling that he didn’t want me there
