My mom bought me one of those meat choppers from Pampered Chef about 10 years ago, I love it and use it all the time. Good for mashing bananas to make bread and avocados to make guacamole. That's cool that Dollar Tree has them now, a lot cheaper than pampered chef.
@@MOFFPEG1 Yes, Pampered Chef products are great. I had a party. But, it's nice to have a cheap alternative, if you don't need anything else and don't want to order one thing .
Vivian, multi purpose multi use, girl, that ground meat masher also serves as a potato salad masher kinda thing, when you want your potatoes smaller for salad, also, when you're canning and you need your tomatoes and strawberries smaller, HAM smashed to make chunky ham salad... I LOVE THAT TOOL!!!
People ask me why my skin is so nice…probably because I don’t bother with those either. Very few people if anyone at all need all the makeup the internet gurus put on.
During covid I taught myself to do my own nails. I was at dollar tree today and found some awesome stuff. There was the nail tip extensions, rhinestones in 12 different sizes, and I finally found the nail chrome that was mentioned in a previous video. They also had some really cute hair accessories.
You are right about avoiding powder when you get older - and I'm MUCH older than you are! The Essentially Ageless things at DT are an exception as they're formulated differently, and they are great.
I love you, Vivian! You’re so entertaining! No lie…I’m one of those people that actually has a different charger for table décor. Every month, my dining table décor changes for that month’s theme. Yep, that’s me…it’s just fun! Thanks for your channel! Keep doing you! Xoxo
Here's a little tip about the baking soda and vinegar cleaner. You can add lemon essential oil (or any scent) to the baking soda. I just use a fork to mix it in the little box that it comes in. I also add fifteen drops or so to the vinegar bottle and it smells less gross. That's the best way to clean the drain and disposal anyway. Gotta get that foamy volcano going. :)
When I make a two-tiered cake I use those gold plates as the base instead of a cake board because they are more decorative and prettier 😊. The Arm and Hammer disposals are ok but I put orange or lemon peels in the disposal because it smells better. I love 💕 your ideas especially the lash comb 🪮!!!!!!! I also go to different Dollar Trees to find the products you talk about lol 😂!!!!!
I have honestly had that ice bucket on my list for years, and still haven’t seen one in my local Dollar Tree. Ever since a UA-camr told me I could use it for under-sink storage.
I use clear glass plates for special occasions. I can decorate UNDER the glass plates between the charger and the plates. I use fall leaves for Thanksgiving, I find cut-outs for Easter and Christmas, spring flowers for a touch of spring. The possibilities are endless !!
Ok!! I have one of those ground beef tools and I’ve had no idea what it was for! Came in a set.. I was today years old when I learned what my beef tool is for 😂 thank you Vivian
Ya know that thin cutting mat? Use can use that for your planners! I can’t remember what the separator sheet you use to divide sections is called lol But I’ve seen ladies use that thin cutting sheet (it’s sold in a 2 pack) just cut to size, use a hole punch for the holes to put the rings in, and decorate however you want!
That ground meat thingy can also be used to shred chicken after cooking in the instant pot. And I have heard that if you use the discs from Happy Planner the pages turn better in the DT planners.
OMG. A girl that went to college with me years ago had the most gorgeous long eyelashes and she would sit in the hallway at the dorm and use a STRAIGHT PIN to comb through her lashes to separate them after she put on her mascara....this looks so much easier and probably a little safer (Although poking your eye out is still a real possibility with this gadget....be careful)
When I was kid they had the moldable soap but then it was called Crazy Foam,I loved it bc not only did you get to play & mold with it ,you could wash your body & face with,it was so much fun,I wished my kids had gotten to use this when they were little, but my grandkids will love it ,well at least my 7 yr old grandsons (cousins)& my 3 yr old granddaughter. Can't wait to get back to Dollar Tree bc I didn't know they had it..thanks for sharing..😊😊
I was told by an acquaintance (who happens to be a makeup artist) about lash combs years ago. They are TOTALLY a game changer. Fabulous!!!! I'm a huge Arm & Hammer fan but the disposal cleaner is a bust. I used a WHOLE package the second time - since using just a little didn't work - and still, nothing. It smells nice but it doesn't foam and thus probably doesn't clean or do anything. You win some, you lose some.
I don't understand why they would advertise it as foaming as water won't do much, it's the chemical reaction of vinegar combined with baking soda that makes it foam. The baking soda and water would still deodorize very well.
UPDATE: I went to 4 different Dollar Tree locations today. Only one of them had the eyelash comb and the meat chopper. I wish they would all carry the same things!!! The one closest to me was the one with the good stuff --- I started far from home due to an appointment and worked my way back. Glad it was my "local" one that had the things Vivian talks about.
I have two in my area, they usually have everything V talks about. She is adorable and her laugher makes me smile… But the “Tammy Faye” comment had me nearly choke with laughter!!! Vivian, you are too young to know about Tammy🤣
I love everything new at DT. My favorite recently was the name brand dog chewing Water Buffalo chewing bones. They are organic and 1 ingredient. These bones are 25 dollars each at Pet Smart. I got 6 of the charger plates in the Costal living style which was a blue gray distressed plate. …so beautiful.
I love how you show us all the great finds at Dollar Tree! 😍 I love it even more when I can actually find them in my store! 😘 I'm always picking up these little treasures for my sister. She really likes them and uses them all the time. Whenever we go to DT together, I point out more helpful things. She usually gets them because they work great and even if they don't, they're only $1.25! 😋 I love all your reviews! You're so creative and honest, you tell it like it is! Hey Vivian I just adore you. Fyi the whole baking thing started with drag queen makeup where they would apply layers of powder between layers of foundation makeup and you completely seem to under stand that it doesn't work in real life lucky for you that you are just beautiful the Way you are❤❤❤❤
I have many sets of eight charger plates and I differ with you on the gray ones. It depends on which stoneware or china you use with those. The Dollar Tree Bee Happy dinnerware looks great with the gray as there’s a lot of accent gray in the pattern, especially with black wicker placemats under the chargers…
I have the gray -- they're a weathered finish farmhouse type look. They had them paired with the bee plates that are rarely ever in stock and it looked so good. The gold looks nice with more modern decor or for the holidays.
OMG you are so right about wanting cute and bougie things as we get older! I'm one of those people who have different chargers for different occasions.
Thanks Vivian!! That lash comb looks a lot safer than the open safety pin I now am using to get rid of clumps! I'm going to " keep an eye out " for it!😉
I have been using a large open safety pin to separate my eyelashes since I began using mascara and I am 57 years old now, thankfully I never had any kind of incident. The lash comb seems safer.😊
I also use an smallish open safety pin and have for years. LOL. I thought I was the only one that did that. Thankfully I’ve never injured my eye, but I think it’s time that I switch to the lash comb.😁
Baking has been a makeup technique for a very very long time. It just wasn't called baking, that term was borrowed from Drag Queens who faithfully use the technique to ensure their foundation and concealer is fully set and matte.

The ground beef chopper can be used for so many things. When I’m making chicken dishes in the crock pot and the chicken needs to be shredded at the end, that’s the tool I use. I also have a smaller one I use to chop eggs for egg salads, to chop chicken for chicken salad… great tool.

Omg that eyelash comb is everything. As a teenager I used to sit with a needle and unclump my lashes after applying ten coats of mascara 😂 lord knows how I didn’t poke my eye out 🥴

Came here to say the same!
It also works great on pork or chicken cooked in the crockpot or instapot!
Cool gonna branch out and use for more than my meat!
I was also going to say for shredding in crockpot, I never take the meat out to shred. I use this meat masher instead works like a dream.
A potato masher does the same thing. But if you don't have one, this tool is perfect.
