The bepur Olay lotion! And YOU are the selling point! I'm headed out right now!!! I've been spending tons on moisturizers bc I don't wanna look old......yet..😩 ..I colored my hair.. it did help. I may have to color my skin next. I have heard that "black don't crack"... worth a try. Michael Jackson did it 🤷‍♀️

Fun fact about Lavoris because I thought the brand sounded familar Lavoris had an 85-year rich heritage as the cinnamon mouthwash used by dentists. It had strong brand equity; however, sales over the decades began to slide with the decline in advertising and marketing support and the advent of brands like Scope and Listerine. However, its brand equity was certainly as strong as the two market leaders. In just one year, sales grew from $3.5 million to over $8 million, when the brand was sold, by aggressively re-establishing Lavoris, leveraging its existing distribution at retail, its strong heritage and brand equity, and most importantly, by heavily investing in advertising. creating a brand positioning and unique selling proposition -the cure for 'simple chronic halitosis,' our name for serious recurring bad breath. That was our hook so we could differentiate ourselves from the other brands. And we had a story to tell: “Lavoris fights bad breath 3 ways: it freshens breath instantly, contains zinc chloride to neutralize bad breath vapors and protect breath for hours.”

I purchased the feeder things, originally from wish. That was about six years ago. For $.88 so I purchased probably about five and then of course was given three more to different sizes. My granddaughter really enjoyed it and then my little whom I was a Nanny for called it her ice Binky, we would put ice or frozen fruit in it especially when she was teething and it really did relieve her sore swollen gums and I do highly recommend those as a grandma and a nanny!

Their Dermasil line is amazing. I haven’t tried the shampoo or conditioner, but the face creams and body creams have been awesome. I have sensitive acne prone skin, and Dermasil has never caused me any issues.

    • @jenniferd264
      @jenniferd264 Рік тому

Dermasil lotions contains a preservatives (usually 2) you need to avoid!❌Methylisothiazolinone! Any of the “-thiazolinone’s” (anything you see on an ingredient list ending in that, you should pass!) It can cause skin irritation, allergies, It’s also classified as immunotoxic. Meaning it messes with the immune system. It’s a preservative.
Especially with sensitive skin. Since I’m not sure which Dermasil Lotion you’re using, I’m looking at a few of them. So far they all contain this! Please use something else! Gold Bond makes fantastic & really affordable lotions. They get huge thumbs ups (?thumb ups? 🤷🏼‍♀️😂lol) anyway lol Dermatologists love Gold Bond! Here’s a hint… the men’s lotion has no “man smell” no “old Spice” lol Just a clean light smell. And the tube is a full 1 oz to 1 1/2 oz MORE! For less! Crazy huh!
Anyhow, I say something because I care 😊
Turn those bottles around & compare the ingredients! 😊

She has several videos reviewing dollar tree (and target, walmart, walgreens, and other stores I dont have) skin care items, and which ones she'd avoid. I'll cite her as my source: collagen in lotion cannot penetrate through the skin but it does act as a humectant (aka moisturizer).

I think I would cut those strong Listerine stripes in half, since they are quite strong you only need half. I’m leaning toward the brand name mouth wash since it has no alcohol. The alcohol irritates sensitive gums. I’ve had the dollar tree one and I didn’t end up using it. Way too strong. TFS your video.

Seems like there were some additional missed updates. 😂 Turns out humans only have 3 layers of skin - the epidermis, dermis and hypodermis. Who knew?!

❤ my teeth were kind of a beige color like because I love my wine and I love my coffee. I found this thing at dollar tree and it has a plate like a kind of rubbery thing and then has the jelly squirt in it and you just leave it on for 30 minutes. It doesn’t make your teeth sensitive it doesn’t hurt or make you sick or anything it’s really really cool it doesn’t do like crest which is really whitening. It does make your teeth white. More using it whiter it gets.

Might have to shake the bottle of the dollar tree lotions if they’re watery.

I've been using the lotions on my hands, vitamin c during the day and hyaluronic acid at night, my hands feel very soft and smooth. Not on the level of the expensive brands I'm sure, but still a great product.

I need to go shop in Texas Dollar Tree because the ones here are porquería. They are still on the Pandemic empty shelves diet.

Crest Brilliance toothpaste is the best. However, I can’t find it anymore! Two weeks ago my DT had a bunch of travel ones. I got four of them.

we used Lavoris mouth washes when I was a kid. Listerine was way too strong (still is) but Lavoris had a cinnamon type taste to it. I might buy the full price one if it isn't strong tasting

Also alcohol free mouthwash is better for sensitivity because the alcohol will cancel out your sensitive toothpaste. My dentist told me that when I ask him why I was hurting after using mouthwash. I didn’t even realize it had alcohol.

Always use distilled water to make the cleaner unless you’ll be using it all within a couple of weeks to a month. Otherwise you can get growth…

I'd like to know the difference in ingredients, because shampoo bought at the dollar store, doesn't work on my hair and breaks me out. A lot of things I've bought I don't work on my hair, break out my skin. Cheap products have a difference in ingredients. Alcohol is bad for your teeth. I wouldn't buy the mouth rinse, because mixing alcohol with peroxide causes, The mixture can create peracetic/peroxyacetic acid, which can be highly corrosive depending the ratio of the three components, and creates gases and fumes that should never be inhaled.

When comparing products, name brands vs. generic brands, look at the ingredients. If they’re similar or the same in active ingredients then hopefully the products will work the same.

The pack of 3 by Listerine breath strips if you take the price and divide it out is $1.78 a little pack.
