- The Royal Enfield Interceptor 2023 has received a mid-life update. At the forefront, the changes are merely visual with a handful of changes that will alter the riding experience and they transform the Interceptor 650 into the motorcycle it should always have been. We rode it for a week and in this video, we talk about the five things we loved about it and the two things we did not like about it.

Do you think motorcycles like the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 look good with alloy wheels or spoked wheels?

I have 2019 Glitter and Dust Int. Spoked Wheels for me...I even went and had them " Chromed and Re-Spoked"!!

Truly there are some great engineers working at Royal Enfield.
The best looking interceptor is baker express colour..white n red ..and bs4 ..sounds raw...pure motorcuyle..❤

Orange crush is nice too.
Maybe if it offered dual disc brakes on the front, it would help with the feel. The seat is an easy fix, but it should be done at the factory where it wouldn't cost any extra. Thx for the review.

Yes they do. In the form of orange crush. With chrome wheel lines.
Agree to disagree , on one point this bike is not for "going on dirt" . And yes weight is a bit on the heavier side , but it's ok.
Does it have an option like hunter 350 Retro and Metro ??

I own the same colour with black red rooster exhaust n till now clocked around 1180km
Mileage how much are you getting after changing the exhaust?

Absolutely zero wobble.
I got mine 2 weeks ago. Trust me there's zero wobbling with the alloy wheels, mine's a barcelona blue. But the new ones with spokes still wobble.
Will get for 2 lakhs. Used 5000km on meter.

The black finish should be much easier to clean than constantly polishing an aluminum finish.
Chrome silencer and buffed enfine covers is a must for Retro looking motorycle.....matte black finish looks very Ugly

You are looking for the Continental GT my man, this has an upright stance and is comfortable for long rides.

The new alloys don't make any difference in the weight. And about the seat - it's not hard. It's the softest seat, making it unbearable for long rides. It bottoms out after 20 minutes because of the soft nature.

Alloys are not light...but somehow riding then feels a little lighter
Yeah agree they shared nothing new and missed out a whole lot of info. Alloys aren't lighter. And the seat is too soft, narrow, and isn't thick enough. Feels almost like you're sitting on the bare frame.
It's even worse for the pillion, as the rear foot peg's placement makes it unbearable for even a 10mins long ride.
The new Led headlight is very good.
The rear suspension is better than before, it doesn't bottom out like earlier and the rebound is also slower than before.
Last but not the least, the Ceat tyres are shit. 😂

The seat on the 2023 version is stiffer than the previous one.

As Barcelona blue owner, i can vouch for your statement. Although, it's not because of the bike's weight rather the position of the foot pegs. I'm experienced enough and tall enough to spread my legs like a crab and push the bike but it doesn't work for others.

It's half true, It's hard but can be done if you angle like how you push any large bike
I wish they give a reverse gear, otherwise backing up when saddling is a struggle against gravity

Excuse me. Air cooled? Over six hundred pounds wet? Total horsepower of 47? Hard pass. I do like the smaller engine RE's but this bike spells no fun in the modern world to me. But to each their own. No disrespect intended. More motorcycles are better than less motorcycles, always.
Granted the horses are less on this one as compared to any other 650cc parallel twin, but honestly, you don’t feel it lacking in power on the road. The torque just surges ahead and keeps you happily satisfied. I’d suggest you to take a test ride of this bike, I have a feeling you will be pleasantly surprised.
Air cooled? no, it's actually air and liquid cooled.
Over 600 pounds wet? no, it's 482 pouds wet.
Total hp 47? this one is correct.
Chrome was much better
There are only 2 colours with black alloys, the other 3-4colors are still available in chrome with spokes.
Yep, to each their own but I like mine chrome !
