Eli Slocumb & Grace Kuch - Old Colorado Brewing Co. - Nov. 18, 2016

Eli Slocumb (16) and Grace Kuch (13) play a unique blend of Blues and Bluegrass - or as they call it, “Bluesgrass.” They got their start in the same modified Suzuki violin and mandolin program at their elementary school in Fort Collins, CO. Both are multi-instrumentalists, playing guitar, mandolin, and other instruments. Eli has continued to pursue progressive bluegrass, sitting in with many professional bands and playing in his own band, Nice Hat, Mister. Grace developed an interest in Blues music. She has represented the Colorado Blues Society at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis, TN, and has performed at the King Biscuit Blues Festival in Helena, AK. Grace has her own self-titled blues band and they play regionally at events including the Bohemian Nights New West Festival in Fort Collins and the Greeley Blues Jam Festival. Eli and Grace reconnected their music at the 2016 Mid-Winter Bluegrass Festival, and subsequently started playing duo shows in Northern Colorado.
