I wanted more raw physicality from such a well matched couple, but alas, it was not to be. I still enjoyed watching these two plot and scheme their way to a throne while supporting and trusting each other.

I love reborns that are stronger and smarter than the bad guys. This drama didn't disappoint. Period dramas are becoming my favorites. One of my favorite types of period dramas is when the guy thinks he is in love with another woman but when that woman who really loves him asks for a divorce and shows she is smart and skilled, he realizes he doesn't want a divorce. A strong, resourceful woman is who I like to see. Again , on this drama, good job production crew!👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
This is truly a gem in reborn/revenge-plot stories. The storyline is so well constructed and avoids many of the usual tropes. FL is strong and wise, but uses chess pieces so as to not attract too much attention (as opposed to most others). ML is powerful and cunning in just the right amount. There are some jumps that make it a little confusing at times, but none that really matter. A joy to watch. SYNOPSIS - SPOILER ALERT!!! On the day of her ascending the throne as Queen beside the man (2ML) she loves, she realizes that she and her family have been framed and sentenced to death by the very Emperor they helped gain the power. Afraid of the military power she and her family represent, he wants to eliminate them and take another scheming woman (2FL) as his Queen. Jumping to her death, she takes her last breaths in the arms of the General (ML), the Emperor’s uncle, who loved her wholeheartedly. Instead of dying, FL meets a spirit telling her to go back, restart her life and change everything. He also reminds her someone has been waiting for her. So, FL wakes up at the day before her marriage to 2ML, at a time where she was about to be raped after being heavily drugged. This time she sticks her hairpin into his neck. When the General (ML) comes in, he kills some assassins entering the room. Revealing one of his best kept secrets, gives FL a chance to survive so she promises to treat his poison, if he makes sure the wedding next day doesn’t happen. This time, she exposes 2ML cheating on her with her cousin on their wedding day. So FL calls off the wedding and ML supports her with his soldiers to make sure she isn’t forced to marry 2ML against her will. And then he walks off with FL, starting their love story.. In the time that follows, FL executes her plan for revenge, starting with her cousin and the drugging-incident that almost ruined her. All the while, watching 2ML go up against ML in order to get the marriage back on track, and showing off her own set of skills. Things get more and more complicated as FL uses her knowledge of her first life to deal with the bad people and prepare for the ultimate battle. This has a happy ending.

Sadly, many actors that are not mainstream are not found on MDL but on other sites like DramaWiki
This story is so good and the ML is out of this world handsome! I love how ruthless and cooperative they are with each other. They take no mercy and are smart and always a good step ahead. Also the Emperor's lacefront did him dirty at 2:42:14.
I love this actress. Instead of making exaggerated expressions, she uses subtle expressions to convey her feelings making the acting seem so much more real.
FL came back with literally a vengeance!!! ML was charismatic and handsome. Brother kept calling ML old was hilarious. With a triumphant ending...on to the next!!!
It's only been 5 days and I'm back again to watch again. WN: 4:12 These are the songs that should be playing in these shows. 43:21 A better line here would be "I want the sky to fall!" One glaring thing I noticed about these R&R is that it's really not about revenge but punishment or wors justice. Revenge is a galaxy all it's own; it's destruction, ugliness, darkness, and annihilation. It's the end result of feeding h*te, pain, hopelessness, and rage. There is no coming back and that's why the saying dig two grave is so fitting. The theme in these scripts are a far cry from revenge. 1:23:55 The intrigue in this is well done for it's budget. I can't predict everything and that's a win for me, so I applaud the writer and crew. The only bone I have to pick is the with the FL; was she just using her feminine wiles in the beginning to get him on board or does she like him and is now playing hard to get? I'm never a fan of FL character being cunning with the person they actually have feelings for so I'm a little perplexed. 1:48:47 Whenever I see a window in an interrogation cell in these dramas, I'm like "prisoners is going to kick the bucket". Let me see if it happens here. 2:42:45 I'm confused, how did it go from saving her in the dungeon and the capturing the prince to everything after that? 2:45:34 I didn't like that back hug for the ending of that scene, it didn't fit. 🤔🤨🫣🙃 I really liked this and I think they did a good job for what it is. I liked all the characters and their purpose. The acting was at the top for this level. I had lots of fun watching this and my attention was fully held. 👏👏👏👏 My grade is S-tier (good writing and directing)
Another high praise for ths drama is that when female lead is reborn, she doesn't illogically jump into the male lead's arms with some crappy explanation on why she suddenly likes him now. I dislike that type of lazy writing that happens in every regret-rebirth drama that mixes up the female lead's guilt & regret, turning it into sudden love for the male lead. I like that this female lead's approach is suitable & rational towards the male lead.
The cast has done a very good job. Facial expressions, tone of voice were on point. Can’t fault any of them 😊 good revenge reborn plot. ML loves FL but revenge comes first. Good job!!!
