And the adult actors have a very natural easy interaction with the child, the scolding & praise is convincing, it's like watching real parents. I really dislike the male lead. He's small minded, arrogant, prejudiced, self-righteous. Not to mention he's petty and spiteful. He never apologizes to the female lead for constantly misunderstanding her.

We dont talk about it so much and colour things to make it nice. The emporer married all these young women and changed their names to whatever and delete their history.😢 In this show the thing he did to move her at the back palace to never be seen is not unusual.i just finished reading about cerrtain women in a certain religion who get banished in the compound and never seen again 😢 She was "lucky" he allowed her to come to the wedding and show her face. Seriously when you read the plights of women in different countries now and history you just cry. I understand its a show and we already have the time travel so why not gloss over the other facts and make it smell nice, less abuse and torture. I guess we need the fantasy of the women who had it harder having an ounce of fighting spirit and making it😅. The divorce scripts do go down well but can get too much fantasy as women couldnt really get divorced 1920s in my neck of woods, googled china was 1950. I really like that they focused on the father and son, mother and son relationships in this version. They really developed it and showed how the bond grew especially between the father and son. In fact, I think the ML liked his son before he really liked his wife lol, even thinking he might not be his own. I really appreciated that. I haven't seen this much focus on the parental side rather than just the romance, they gave both importance, which makes this version unique from those I've seen of this story line.

You can understand how even the modern writers think about the role of men and women through FL's teachings to her son. Even feudal law stipulates that husbands should equally care for their wives. However, for example, the FL says the ML's partiality to the new wife is similar to how the son is partial to the mom. This is how they justify mindless cruelty and arrogance of men 😅 Don't waste your time on this one. I watched it because of the positive comments regarding the child actor. However, the ML frequently made me want to throw up. The ML frequently judges the wife like "she is beautiful enough to be the main wife", "she has patience", "she knows how to maintain a household, I didn't know about this". All these reasons pile up for him to consider her "worthy" for his love. These were what feudal people expected from a woman. BUT, what about what they expect from a man and a husband? Did he ever consider he is worthy to be a farher and a husband? 😂😅
This is a good version of the usual “Modern day doctor transmigrates into ancient times”-story. This differs in FL being thrown into a cold mansion for 6 years after being framed and her giving birth there alone. The actors are quite good and the storyline interesting. Definitely worth watching despite the bad subs and repeated scenes. SYNOPSIS - SPOILER ALERT!!! FL is a modern day top medic in the peacekeeping force. She dies in an attack and transmigrates into ancient times. When she wakes up, she realizes that she is now in the body of an unfavored, fat and ugly Princess, who - in order to force her husband to consummate - tried to kill herself on their wedding day. Angry at her for humiliating him, the husband (ML) consummates their wedding. After checking the cloth and seeing no blood, he mistakenly believes her to not be a virgin and throws her into a solitary mansion where she gives birth to a little boy. 6 years later, the door to the outside world opens for the first time. FL is invited to the ceremony of him taking a concubine. Unable to refuse, she agrees to attend. But this concubine wants her out of there, and take the position as Princess herself, so she uses different strategies to make that happen. But this FL isn’t easy to bully, medically skilled and quite the beauty now, which eventually catches the attention of her husband. Well, this has a so-called happy ending.

看了這麼久才終於有一部比較正常的短劇。
（1）劇情沒有虐待迷姦強暴，祇有誤會，當然沒有誤會劇情不能發展下去，所以祗能接受。
（2）整劇情節流𣈱，不是一般的咀炮劇，呆站說對白的，可見導演和演員的用心。
（3）劇本開始雖然是穿越劇，但女主沒有帶許多未來的科技過來，（那小弓除外），擺脫許多穿越劇以未來科技或詩詞歌賦來嘩眾取寵的戲路，可見編劇是有下功夫的，。
（4）此劇的演員顏值真是高：男主和他的家族沈世子及攬月公主都帥美的，女主和她哥更漂亮得像一家人啊，宋側妃也是可以的，各演員包抱鈺𠒇的演技都不賴，真贊🎉。

This is a good version of the usual “Modern day doctor transmigrates into ancient times”-story. This differs in FL being thrown into a cold mansion for 6 years after being framed and her giving birth there alone. The actors are quite good and the storyline interesting. Definitely worth watching despite the bad subs and repeated scenes.
SYNOPSIS - SPOILER ALERT!!!
FL is a modern day top medic in the peacekeeping force. She dies in an attack and transmigrates into ancient times. When she wakes up, she realizes that she is now in the body of an unfavored, fat and ugly Princess, who - in order to force her husband to consummate - tried to kill herself on their wedding day. Angry at her for humiliating him, the husband (ML) consummates their wedding. After checking the cloth and seeing no blood, he mistakenly believes her to not be a virgin and throws her into a solitary mansion where she gives birth to a little boy.
6 years later, the door to the outside world opens for the first time. FL is invited to the ceremony of him taking a concubine. Unable to refuse, she agrees to attend. But this concubine wants her out of there, and take the position as Princess herself, so she uses different strategies to make that happen. But this FL isn’t easy to bully, medically skilled and quite the beauty now, which eventually catches the attention of her husband.
Well, this has a so-called happy ending.
Good script like really he left her to die when she was pregnant, didn't care about how she lived made her life worse than death If this is what you call good God bless you with such a good life then.
@@randomguy8577 This is why I wrote "so-called" happy ending. She should have refused him and left him, but the C-productions with kids almost allways ends like this. It's considered happy even if most people like you and me might think otherwise.
