Hate people saying that he is saying that he faking the _____(guitar, vocals, ect) 1:Guitar.... He doesnt look at it whilst playing because he has most likely practiced so much he doesnt find the need to look. I play bass and majority of songs I play I can play without looking down. Cut him some slack! It does take some time to get it to get it down pat. 2:Vocals.... People say that the computer behind him are playing the music for him... NO! He is RECORDING it on that and '' voice'' overs the real sound with a better quality version and adds the bass and back back ups so yeah. My point is BACK THE FUCK OFF!!!!!
As said previously he has recorded the guitar in a separate area and time and is putting it over and I know his hand position is wrong but it is very difficult to play and sing at the same time! Just because you play doesn't mean anything! We all play differently! I don't play bass the same way my brother does! So once again: JUST LEAVE HIM ALONE!!!!
I play guitar and the song is in drop D, aka playing open strings gives you a rock chord, and barring the 7th and 5th gives the other two notes, A and G, which requires little looking for few/ and easy chords

For the record, he's clearly playing the right chords and right notes. However it was post-produced. The fact that you can't hear a single slide in a song that's full of them, on an electric guitar, either means he has the most delicate fingers on any human who's ever lived and played guitar, or he ProTools it afterwards. Doesn't take away from his performance, but it is certainly not "live."
