We just drove our EX AWD home last night... Tested the GMC Acadia Denali, Buick Enclave, Subaru Ascent, and Nissan Murano. We traded in a 2015 Explorer. I’d say the closest in terms of ride comfort and luxury feel was the Buick... very nice but VERY expensive. At the end of the day we felt the styling, value, interior space, and ride of the Telluride made it a clear winner. Only reservation is being a Guinea Pig for a new model year. Biggest test for us will be loading it up with the family, all our gear, and heading up to the mountains.
We just to delivery on our 2020 Telluride S, we ordered it 8 months ago, so it was a substantial wait. We ordered ours in the Dark Moss exterior and the 2 tone ebony/ivory interior, which works well with the dark moss. We are pleased with the ride and roomy interior. I also like this vehicles distinctive looks which have drawn a couple of curious lookers asking about it. I I never thought I would ever own any vehicle in green, but this dark moss is a bit of a chameleon as it seems to vary between daylight fluctuations anywhere from black to olive green to even bronze??? Bronze ! I tried to ignore it, told myself it was in my head, till others started pointing it out ! But that’s ok, it looks great in all 3 colors to me! Lol.
Vehicle shopping year. Looking for a car and SUV. Pretty much had the car narrowed down to 3, G70, still waiting on the new G80 Sport, and the Stinger. Anyways just seen the new 2020 Sonata and that just entered the list. As for the SUV, we like the Telluride a lot but decided to wait for the Palisade. As you noticed all vehicles mentioned were from Hyundai/kia/Genesis. They are lighting up the industry in design, quality, features, and MOST IMPORTANT, Reliability!
The 2020 Sonata sure seems interesiting especially if you consider its a mainstream mid sized sedan (aka affordable)! From what i've seen in renderings, the next gen G80 and GV80 SUV are drop dead gorgeous and I believe at least one of them will be unveiled at the NY auto show! The GV80 looks like a Bentayga who went to the gym and started wearing suits and the G80 reminds me of the new gen Continental (but in sedan form)
Hey, can you make a video of Kia's SOFINO Leatherette Seats? How do they look compared to real leather seats? Can you distinguish any difference between these two at your first glance?
You know it isn't real leather, but it is still very comfortable. It has a smooth surface to it where leather generally is grainy. However, leatherette is easier to clean and maintain and unlikely to stain the way leather can. If you have kids - that can be an issue with leather.
What dealership did you buy your car and how was your experience? I live in Columbia and am strongly considering the Telluride. Your videos have been great!
Thanks, I really had a pleasant experience with HW Kia and Jim Butler Kia in our area have been solid. The St. Charles Kia left some to be desired. The salesperson I spoke with was fine, but the manager was setting the stand there will be no discounts. I paid less than MSRP, while supply is limited - they will continue making them. EX is definitely the sweet spot.
Hello, since you have the S model and have had some more time with it, what is your opinion of the climate control? I am on the fence as to which trim level to get and the lack of automatic climate control is a concern of mine. Does your Telluride have any problems maintaining a set temperature? Specifically for the 2nd and 3rd row passengers. Any complaints in this regard? Thank you!
We have the S model. What I don’t like and can’t believe a vehicle like this does not come with is dual air controllers nor does it come with a power lift gate. Not I big deal to me but to my wife they are. I wish I would have gotten the EX model. Also your not going to pay list you are going to pay north of list. I did put a Curt trailer hitch and wiring on mine myself. It’s just a plug to assemble the wire for trailering.

The Kia Telluride is a beast! Yours is a beauty, so much value for the money! And those S package wheels are nice!

Excellent comparison -- THANKS!
Great! Nice! Beautiful! Wonderful! Fantactic! Excellent! 💜💜💜💜💜💜
Great work here! This is very valuable. Would like to see this versus the Honda Pilot and the Subaru Ascent.
Check out the Palisade
There's a video of it versus the pilot already
The more I watched your reviews, the more I like the Kia. Why paying $52,000 for a basic Ford Expedition or a Chevy Suburban for &51,000.
Julio Ruata - there is a lot of vehicle there. We looked at the Tahoe for about 2 seconds and realized the midsize class has come a long way.
It doesn't compete against those vehicles. It's in the same class as the pilot and Highlander, which are the same price
My’Ride Productions I will look into. Thanks
You don't think a telluride is in the same class as an Explorer, Traverse or Atlas?
My’Ride Productions I think the Kia is much better SUV

@@ManicMarkets thanks. I do have a kid. But I also want my car to look cool. So I think I'm gonna go for either LX or S.
as soon as the dealers stop putting 2 - 5 and 10k over sticker then these prices will be valid
we love the Telluride

Hi I'm curious. Were looking at the S model also. What was the sticker price with the 2nd row captain chairs? P.s gorgeous suv
Hello nice videos
thank you
Are you sitting behind the front passenger set to yourself (of 6 feet)?
Yes - you have a crazy amount of second row leg room. Even if you move those seats forward to give room to row 3 it's still very roomy.
Why did you get the s vs the ex? I’m trying to decide
We got the s because the wife had to have lumbar support and heated seats, bonus is the sunroof and 2nd row captain's chairs.

Is it just me or are the 2nd row captain seats too squarish??
What does your wife think about your new fame on UA-cam?
Crash test ????????
not my ride, i hope. LOL
