Anyone know is this will work on the 2018 mac mini? The newer one going into thunderbolt 2, and this dongle for the led cinema display?

This didn't work for me; yes I tried all the other things mentioned BUT I eventually solved the problem by setting up the scales via using the app on my mobile phone. Basically clear the scales off your Withings account AND all the Bluetooth settings i.e. computer/laptop, phone etc as if you were in the position of having just bought them new BUT do not delete your previous weight records in your Withings account as this is not necessary. Then rather than using the approach on the Withings site with their downloadable app on the computer/laptop, use these instructions on your mobile phone to set-up the new scales [ua-cam.com/video/vYwfp72Uk4o/v-deo.html]. Once you have re-linked your scales with your phone/account via Bluetooth, you can then 'direct' the account to the wifi link by just saying "yes" to the statement "Use WIFI address on phone?" You can also follow this procedure for when you change your internet supplier.

I had it with very first day of getting the update 😢 overall ride experience improved a lot though, wife just increasingly doesn’t want to use it…

Yes, same here First time with phantom braking issues with this version. I have an Y 2023 AI3. One day infact I had what I call phantom steering. At about 60 mph the car acted like it was evasive steering. It acted like it saw something. The only thing that I saw were black marks in the pavement. But it was really abrupt. I'm a little more careful with fsd now till we get an update.

At least we’re not the only ones, ever since this update it’s felt super unstable and braking for green lights, slamming on the brakes at a yellow turn light, and being in the wrong lane at a roundabout which could’ve been super dangerous.

Ditto... Last week I was driving the Avenue of the Saints. Just outside of St Louis on the way to St Paul, the computer remained in the 'City Stack.' For 500 miles I fought its quirks. Lots of phantom braking. Once I manually turned on the turn signal after just passing an 18 wheeler-to get out of the way of a tail gater-and the car whipped in front of the truck scaring the hell out of him and me. The only way to prevent an incident was to punch the accelerator to move away from him.

My ‘22 Model 3 seems afraid of intersections on 12.5.4.1 First drive with it earlier and it slammed on brakes mid-way through two separate green intersections that 12.3.6 handled a hundred times with no issue.

Speed is so messed up now. Had to constantly accelerate to get 5 over or would go too fast over my set offsets. Also tried auto adjust and that was in the wrong mph too mostly being too slow. 12.3.6 was better at keeping speed where I wanted. This is a downgrade. Unsubscribed to fsd.

For me 12.5.4.1 is unusable. Installed it a few days ago and finally got to take it out today for a few spins. It's activating the blinkers every 10 seconds on straight roads with some turns, not going anywhere near my set speeds, and driving itself into lanes with parked cars repeatedly. Honestly I always expect a few regressions with each version along with some improvements but it's literally almost unusable for me. I wish I could go back to 12.5.1.5 which has been the best of any V12 revisions I've gotten so far. It's honestly worse then V10 when i first got FSD

I am having the exact same issues as you with my 2024 M3 LR AWD. Phantom braking, braking at green lights, inconsistent merging. The braking stuff is the most concerning. The overall improvements with 12.5.4 and 12.5.4.1 compared to 12.3.6 are incredible though. So much more natural feeling. Just, ya know, slams on the brakes randomly. Maybe it's part of their attention monitoring system...keeping you awake! :D

Phantom braking may be due to the sun/tree shadows, it doesn't love those.

12.5.4.1 Upcoming Improvements: End-to-End on highway. What odds is they also say “FSD for Cybertruck, but it already on 12.5.5…

12.5.4.1 does not include end to end on highway. It says in the release notes “coming soon” It just basically brought further improvements to ASS

I experienced a similar issue with the v12.5.4 update on my 2018 Tesla Model S. When using the Full Self-Driving (FSD) feature, the car tended to make small adjustments, causing the driving experience to be less smooth. The car would brake at green signals and yellow flashing lights, and would pass through intersections if there was a vehicle in front.

Tesla engineers are responsible for ALL aspects of FSD operation. Bad map data that is given to customers is Tesla's fault, 100 percent .

I have dealer change oil/filter. In that way I get OEM filter & (hopefully Kia approved oil..They use Total.

At 11:09, the narrator says that FSD is 'better than a human'. Maybe he was just kidding? Because in real life, FSD is *nothing* like a human driver. A human can drive every day for 10 years without an accident. FSD cannot handle even *one* *hour* on a challenging route, without human intervention. FSD has very poor situational awareness in new or unexpected conditions on the road .

Even one press of the accel pedal is an *intervention* .

Other 12.4.3 or 12.5 reviews show that the future is NOT near. Not even close. FSD continues to make mistakes: cannot read ROAD CLOSED sign cannot avoid road kill cannot avoid pot holes cannot see, then stop for, a gate that raises and lowers cannot go in reverse cannot consistently slow down for speed bumps cannot consistently slow down for railroad track crossing cannot respond to Police or Ambulance with sirens on

Tesla is fully responsible for navigation data, so a flaw in navigation means a FAILURE for the beta FSD software. It still cannot be trusted, in July of 2024 .

Well, the issue with the microphone is, that the removal of the background sound isn't great. It sounds artificial, like a bad audio filter ran over it. Might not be so apparent if you hear it with speakers, but it's pretty bad with headphones. It's like listing to you over a 2G cellphone call instead of a good audio recording.

We had those concrete block roads on the Autobahn in Germany.. Those roads were originally built to withstand tanks driving across the countries without rubber pads on the tracks. So they hold up very, very well. I think the last of them was removed in 2005 or so in my area. Man, you could drive 110 on them, and you get super annoying rumbling, but as soon as you hit 130 it feels like your car breaks apart ;D

12.4.3 seems like a huge downgrade compared to 12.3.6

I think asking if a robotaxi could work with bad map data isn’t a great question because all the current ones literally need very detailed mapping to work properly. Waymo for example has every single piece of information posssible about the road its driving on. I honestly think Its impressive that fsd can navigate as well as it can without good mapping. I haven’t watched the video yet so maybe you already said this idk

9:52 well, the speed for the roundabout will be appropriate, even if the map is completely off. FSD uses the map basically just to know where to exit etc. not for plotting a speed. So it would have slowed down. But from the path it showed on the screen while it was disengaged it's clear that it would have taken the first exit, as that's the closest to the navigation route. That it didn't turned right afterward is just delay between the nav and FSD. So FSD had no idea that it supposed to turn right here, because the Nav view didn't update in time. I think this delay is intentional, to avoid too rapid route changes. But I could be wrong here.
