I remember the very same Mr Harrison in 84 when I visited this place as a DC wasn't too nice to be banged in up but OK if you got a decent detail while you passed your time. I understood that back then only 1 guy had half managed to breech the fence by the Governor house where a large oak tree broke through the fence. Apparently he got stuck trying to squeeze out of the gap.... No one else ever managed to escape back then... Not fond memories but memories none the less

Hollesley Bay the D cat I was in also had a fence around lit by the reception area. It used to have a C cat prison too but they left the fence there because it’ll cost an absolute fortune to remove. They have a beach right next to it 😂.

Got out Kirk lev in 2000, worked on a council run quad track but got sacked when I went on a xt350 round the track without asking, ended up working in a local forest clearing up and making trails for the visitors. The food in Kirk is better than some restaurants, and the accommodation was in a mansion type building with well kept lawns, al in all its a ok place but full of mad geordies in for pub violence

u only get to go there once in a lifetime mate wen u go bk to jail if u do again u cnt apply for this one its private bud ya get interviewed in a closed jail off 3 screws ovs a SO n 2 others to say why u think u need the chance or deserve it etc n have to show u want to work etc like a outside job or show uve a familly u need to change for etc n so forth

I worked with an ex copper who’d turned rogue and another bloke who he was in there with for selling powder, we were all working down the road at the Preston hall estate, Museum and grounds, doing garden keeping, and taking dead trees out, litter picking etc .

bill i was in there pal ya got in a meat wagon as a cat C prisoner n after 12 week it becomes cat d mate n ya get out to go to drs etc n times to b bk also get a outside job if ya want also i ended up in hosi wid jaindicr due to gallstones n they took me n lft me there wid a ROTL book its a sound little jail private chefs the lot mate its relaxed as fook ya cnt just walk out tho pal although on visits ya can walk out they wudnt notice n screws in there winde ya up or try to to they can send u bk to homehouse etc but i was in in 06/07 mate also u have to b interviewed to go there n show u have reason to change ur life upon release so he must of ticked the boxes n gave them an adress aswell to b checked out by probstion mate...So danny will of been in there 8/12 week b4 getting out but i got refused kirkham but got exepted for there n some of them cars in the car park r the inmates bud for homeleaves etc
