I wish this song was on iTunes with the rest of her old shit. She’s been dope for a long time. I’d never have completed my first novel without her music. This song is a dope sample.
She really can’t do that because she often used samples in a huge portion of her early mixtapes. So, either her or her label would have to acquire the licenses to the samples used to officially release them again. But I feel like she’s actively pushed away from her old stuff and hasn’t mentioned any of the mixtapes in who knows how long… so that scenario wouldn’t even be a considered. We’ll just have to stick to SoundCloud or YT for her old music :/
Dude, all I've been doing for weeks is looping her songs and locking the screen with my headphones on all day long. Thank you k Flay for all of what you have given me and everyone. I can put my thoughts and feelings into a melody. It sounds cheesy, but I also feel like im not alone when I hear these lyrics, like in every song. ❤just keep it coming, loving it😊
As an artist, k flay has given me more motivation than most of emcees that I've listened to my entire life. I don't know if its the raw passion, or the expressions when she's saying her lyrics...whatever it is, it has completely captivated me and I'm happy for that. I struggle to listen to other underground artists because it feels people are trying to hard to be a "different" that essentially becomes just as "main" as the stream they try to avoid. This is refreshingly original. Thanks K.
I can relate to what your saying. I started listening her a year back and forgot about the rap songs that I kept on listening all the time. She's just dope. Don't know why she's su underrated. She's better than so many big names that I know.
I came back almost 5 years after hitting rock bottom and going through rehab, this used to be my "theme song", glad times are better now....her music kept me going through dark times ...i remember I once sent her a Facebook DM saying how much her music meant to me and she replied back, sadly I lost access that Facebook profile and now she probably has a team handling her PR but I love her music and I am very happy how successful she is now as an artist glad she is getting more light
Shes underrated as an artist big time im a huge fan i love all her songs even the ones most people have overlooked or sre seriously weird red meat is awesome wish she would play edmonton id definitely buy back stage passes if they were available so would love the chance to meet her would pay out the whoozie to do it to
Her music would have been soooo different if she were mainstream. It would be hard relating to her lyrics cuz she would have been rich and having no problems so what would she write about
Where the fuck did this come from? I've seriously listened to like like ten different songs from her so far and haven't found anything I dislike. What a killer find. Thanks.
I'm actually glad K.Flay hasn't blown up in mainstream because I don't think she wants to? no way she hasn't been offered a deal yet. she's chillin doing her own thing and continuously making good music because of it. props to her ✊
I'm honestly so proud of K. Flay I started listening to her back in 2011 and then I was able to meet her i was completely starstruck!!! Then i was in Austin back in october and i heard on the radio and i screamed!!! i was so happy!
I've been reading some of the comments. I'm 52 yrs. old & love the songs. I can relate to some. I read 1 post asking why Kay Flay was not discovered before, the answer is . she did not have the correct publishing agent. I listen to her on 89.7 The River. & I have to admit, she is damn fucking good. She has a sold out show in Omaha Ne.
this was 1st K. Flay song i heard so many years ago...hooked instantly & since. less than zero, we hate everyone & rawks are my favorites but i truly love almost every song she does. wish she would rap more in her newer stuff but i guess everyone changes/evolves. K. will always have a special place in my heart, her words say what i can't. xoxo
@@likehere3485 most popular female rappers are getting hated because industry is sexist and hates woman being powerful in music industry so they always tryna destroy their careers
@@donatasvelicka5370 that's probably why there's never more than 2-3 female rappers on the hot 100 at any point in hip-hop history. We saw as much during Li'l Kim and Missy Elliott's time, and we're seeing that again with Nicki Minaj and Cardi B.
@@DoctorWhoKage well, everything has changed since last summer i guess. There are so many female rappers out there but they make more tik tok songs which would be easy to understand.

This artist was someone I came across a few years ago but never actually looked into but wow I wish I had absolutely incredible her voice is so infectious in the best way possible 💚
I can't get enough of K.Flay. I accidentally heard her in a remix that she appears on with Big Chocolate (The Faceless ex vocalist now DJ) and I didn't know who she was, but there was something about her that I just needed to hear more of her music. And here I am, now Im an addict lol.

Happy to say that I've been here all of these years to witness this woman grow into the phenomenon she is now. never forget these old tracks from K.flay. Amazing at everything she does.
I've been listening to her music for years now almost daily and never knew this song existed. I know every word to her college mix tapes but some how missed this fire

Feel the same. Also depends on where people live. Country etc. Some states I hear radio spreads music out a little better and makes sure they push new coming bands to get some recognition. Where I live there's not a whole lot of underground music areas. It's just big med -large big arenas where already successful bands perform. I like the smaller places better. Curiousities are more interesting when people want new music and supporting the new small bands feels nice.
